Clothing store.
I love the jeans here. I can’t have enough of them. By far the best and most durable jeans I have ever had. The sweaters they have are really awesome too. The customer service is great. The employees always have a smile and are willing to help you find the right size and style you are looking for.

I have to commend our cashier who was very kind and did not refuse our tedious requests at checkout to use a BR card, BR points and get the maximum sales price after he had already rung every item up.
I also must remark on the friendly advances throughout the store on first arrival then the patience to politely ignore me doing donuts with the umbrella stroller (safely with child secure) to pass time while my spouse was in the dressing room.
A very pleasant retail experience. Clean store, well stocked, and organized. Also much cooler than outdoor August in ABQ.

Stopped into the Gap Uptown on a slow January evening. There was a light snow flurry going on, enough to keep most Burquenos counting milk and toilet paper stocks, so the slow, I guess. I was one of two customers in the store (I thought) and wandered up to the counter to ask for help.
The cashier was checking the other customer out and having a good long chat, so I hung there a bit then poked around a bit, then went back to the counter. When she finally finished up her chat and checkout and acknowledged me, I asked whether they had a item. She looked at the women she’d just checked out and asked her about it. Evidently the «customer» was another employee. After another quick chat, they both looked at me, pointed to the back of the store and said «it’s back there somewhere. If you don’t see it, we’re probably out. Sorry.»
OK, that’s not word for word, but pretty darn close. No offer to help me look, no attempt to find the item. I might understand if they were buried in customers, but with me the only actual customer in the store, that’s pretty bad. I’ve owned a retail store and I’d have gone ballistic if one of my employees had done that — of course, I had excellent people working for me and it wouldn’t have happened. So I left, found the item online and bought it.
Easy access, decent selection of most stuff, so the two stars.

This is a great place to shop for the start of school! My kids love their new purchases and I’m thrilled with the tremendous value. The new fall collection is great the staff was very helpful in selecting the appropriate items for my children.

Great service with a smile. I walked in to buy a shirt and ended up with 2 new jeans and a belt with 2 shirts. The help they gave me makes me want to buy even more than planned. Thanks for the wardrobe boost!
