This is a friendly neighborhood type bar with great local New Mexico food. They also have great selection of beer and wine. Manager is very dedicated to good service, so just give them good feedback. The variety of music is a plus!!! I have heard good things about the carne adovada egg rolls! Trying them tonight! They also have the best GELATO!

Ghost Flame is definitely one of my new favorite places! The food is great, solid beers on tap, and they’re branching out with the music. The service is consistently good, and the décor is very welcoming, clean, and modern. The two separate areas are great; if you’re looking to grab some food and beer and listen to a local DJ, head to the back. If you’re more in the mood for some family conversation, hang out in the front. My personal faves on the menu are the carne adovada egg rolls, the beef nachos, chicken tacos, and the Monte Cristo. Oh, that Monte Cristo. So so good. They’re also serving beer and wine, which makes a great addition to any evening. Plus, they’ve got really clean bathrooms… if you’ve ever been Downtown in Burque, you know that this is often a rarity.

A New Mexican conversation. Burqueño 1: «You know how we were talking about putting together, like, a smoke shop?» Burqueño 2: «Yeah. Sup?» Burqueño 1: «So well, last night I was blazed out and I was thinking about it some more. Like way, way more, and I kept thinking ya know, we got enough smoke shops in this city already.» Burqueño 2: «I hear that.» Burqueño 1: «So then I was like, well if I could have any business in the world, what would it be? And I started seriously tripping out, bro. I was thinking I’d want a place where we could have bands or DJs and some shit, like in the back part-« Burqueño 2: «Nice.» Burqueño 1: «And then a bar, too. And maybe we could brew some of our own beer, too.» Burqueño 2: «That’s tight.» Burqueño 1: «And we could still sell, like, pipes and all that. Plus t-shirts.» Burqueño 2: «What about food? ‘Cuz people want to eat.» Burqueño 1: «Yeah! That’d be dope. Straight up enchiladas and stuff.» Burqueño 2: «Munchie food.» Burqueño 1: «Yep. So check this out. I totally came up with the best name. Ever.» Burqueño 2: «Hit me with it.» Burqueño 1: «Check it: Ghost Flame. It’d be like boom, right across the top: Ghost Flame.» Burqueño 2: «Oh shit, that is All Bad. That is All Bad.» Thank you, Ghost Flame, for elevating the smoke shop to an entirely new level. This new shop is indeed tight, it’s gleaming with that brand new feel, ready to host some big parties. It’s a cool new addition to downtown’s hippest street, Gold avenue. The food is nothing to write home about, but it’ll do in a stoner pinch, and they have gelato, too(not made on premises). My impression of the owners/staff was really solid, they’re friendly and down-to-earth and truly New Mexican. So you go with your All Bad self, Ghost Flame. I can’t wait to try your craft brews(they’re not ready just yet, so expect an update).
