This restaurant has seemed to go downhill for a while now, they used to be great. I ordered a take-out order, bacon breakfast burrito with red chile, Italian sub sandwich with cole slaw, and an order of chips and salsa. I received my order and looked in the bag to make sure it was all there, and it seemed just fine. I got back to the office and realized that while it did seem that I received everything, I did not. The breakfast burrito was horrible… The burrito was more tortilla than filling, and they did not put ANY red chile on my burrito at all as I had requested. The sub sandwich was awful. It was basically just bread and lettuce with very minimal meat or cheese, and I also did not get my cole slaw. The chips and salsa were there, but the salsa was way too salty to eat. I have always had something go wrong, or as of late, my burritos are never correct and seem to get smaller and smaller… Even once they had added in bits of onion to my burrito, and that’s not even listed as an ingredient on their breakfast burritos. I think I have given this place my last order unless things start to change, but I have been sorely disappointed the last 4 or 5 times I’ve been here or ordered food.

This restaurant is worth finding. It’s tucked away in a brick commercial complex across from @25 on Jefferson, but is located back from the street. The food is fresh, organic, delicious, and beautifully garnished. The tacos were wonderful, and the variety of other choices will please even the most jaded palate.

My experience at the Krazy Lizard wasn’t too great. My Dad and I planned on picking up some dinner before our movie. We each called in an order under the same name to be picked up at 4:30pm. I called in the Torta Milanesa and my Dad called in a Gyro with no onions. We arrived at 4:30pm and my order was not accounted for… the employee I spoke with had no clue what I was talking about and I had to ask him to make me a new sandwich as opposed to him offering to make one. This time, I asked for a Gyro(which I would have ordered originally, but did not see on their online menu). They were pretty quick to make the Gyro and we were out of there about ten minutes after 4:30pm. My Dad’s Gyro still had onions despite his request and reminder to the employee upon entering the establishment. I am not too sure if I will be back… which is shame because I work nearby. I did like that they had a complimentary salsa bar. I thought that was cool and unique. Also, they use fresh and organic ingredients — always a plus.

Organic, homemade, fresh and worth the price. The tacos are outstanding and I stick with them… I assume other items are equally excellent. Using locally sourced pork, homemade tortillas, and really great beans and rice(which I usually skip). Convenient location off I-25 at Jefferson. It’s my favorite lunch spot.

Prices always change and portions seem to be getting smaller. Not sure why the burritos are almost $ 8 now. Ridiculous. Used to be one of my favorite places
