Just a boring avaerage resaraunt. Nothing special won’t be back ever. Just not the type of food you look for for Chinese Japanese fusion. Just nothing that I would recommend. A typical chain. Chris.

Refreshing and tasty asian food. This location is situated in an odd area and parking is difficult. Worth the trouble though., i ordered Pad Thai with chicken. For Pad Thai lovers, it was ho hum and not spicy at all even though the menu indicated it was spicy. The carb won tons and edamame were delicious and fresh. The facility was clean and modern. The drink machines are fun… tons of options. The staff was friendly and fast. I love that everything is made fresh. The $$$ isn’t bad at all. I ordered the small bowl of Pad Thai and it was 6 bucks. It was a lot of food too. My biggest issue with Asian restaurants is the over use of oil. Pei Wei was not oily! Score! I didn’t have the lettuce wraps but saw someone eating them and I WANTEDTHEM! Even though parking is not optimal, I will most definitely return when I am in the mood for fresh Asian.

Not impressive, I felt cheated with the food I got. The food was not good at all, the employees were rude and very unprofessional. My main problem was it is so dirty, I will never go back unless there are some major changes.

We decided to give pei Wei s try. Unfortunately they were not serving sushi so I ended up ordering a fried dish. The chicken teriyaki and it was a lot of food. Very tasty. I also tried the pork egg rolls… I have had better so I was not impressed. Other than that customer service was great, restaurant was clean and I enjoyed the meal.

I can’t say anything bad about this Pei Wei! I order my lunch online and go get it. They’re awesome, there’s no wait and no problems. It’s always perfect. Rarely have they missed anything, but if they do I don’t care. I love the food, it’s always good. If I didn’t like it, it was only because I tried something new that I hadn’t ever had before.

I like that their food is made fresh, usually has vegetables, and you can even see them cooking. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The atmosphere is pleasant, never crowded, and the service is generally good. The food isn’t what I’d call ‘great” or authentic, but it’s usually pretty good, and healthier than most. The prices are reasonable.

Cafeteria Chinese at restaurant prices. I’m ready to organize a boycott. Pass up Pei Wei if you know better

A little pricey for quick Chinese/Thai like food. We had the Mongolian Chicken wok. It was tasty. It could use oriental mushrooms, instead of plain white ones. The scallions were scarce. The chicken was nicely cooked. Service was good. Americanized Asian food for those on the run. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

This used to have delicious food and a clean nice atmosphere. After today, Pei Wei is off the list. The once great menu is reduced to a poor selection of tasteless food.

I’m not generally a fan of Pei Wei. This chain offers«Asian inspired» food – whatever that means. I’ve eaten here several times since it opened, and I am just not a big fan. High cal, high fat, high sodium, high price — lower quality and taste. There are so many better offerings of this type of food in Albuquerque. Additionally, this location is not user friendly. Parking is difficult and quite limited.

My friends and I love food. We don’t waste food. The three of us left our meals 95% intact on the table. It was that bad. I can’t remember the last time food was so bad that I couldn’t eat it.

Was there with a Group of eight for lunch. The service was fast. The food was great. Would definitely go again for lunch. Even beat the rush.

Pei Wei, for me at least, is one of those places that I have to be in the mood for. It’s not one of those places that I yearn for like the more authentic asian restaurants. What I love about Pei Wei’s «Asian» themed restaurant is the flavor’s are really good. I tired everything from the Carmel Chicken plate to Orange Peel steak. I personally think the Orange Peel steak is the best on the menu. Also, I’m a fan of consistency and Pei Wei is up there with some of the best. If I go to the Pei Wei across from Coronado Mall or to the one over by Cottonwood, I know the Orange Peel Steak plate I get will be the same– taste wise. The rice(brown, white or fried) that comes with your plate, has always been cook perfectly every time I’ve eaten there. The portion size is good and you can either order the small or original size. On the plus side, Pei Wei is healthier than most other questionable Chinese restaurants– I’m just saying. Pei Wei is definitely worth your time and money, plus you get in, eat and get out at a reasonable time and you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table even during peek hours.

I’ve been to Pei Wei in several cities more times than I could possibly remember. My recent visit to this location left me 1) disappointed and 2) perplexed. I used to be able to count on Pei Wei for quick service and food that I would feel tempted to eat every bit of before putting that last bit in a to-go box for later. I also used to walk into a place with signature red glistening concrete floors and nice, dark clean wood tables and furnishings. I don’t think I mistakenly went to Panda Express or some food court imitation, but my food and the tables and chairs where I ate sure suggested I did. The wait for the food was too long. My rice was actually cold when it arrived at my table. Every table in our vicinity was sticky. They don’t even have those cloth-like napkins they used to have. That’s a nitpick thing, but I think it’s a symptom of a larger problem – Pei Wei has felt pressured to go cheap. One solitary redeeming thing in our visit: the guy bringing food to people’s tables was so kind and cheery. I didn’t even want to tell him my rice was cold. You don’t update your restaurant’s décor for a decade? You mess around with your menu too much? You serve cold rice? Any one of these, I might give a pass. All of them together? Something is flat wrong. I want the old Pei Wei back.

We stopped in this afternoon for lunch they serve your typical Americanized Chinese food, and yes I’m a fan of it. Today my wife and I split sweet & sour chicken and Kung Pao chicken. Both dishes were made to order so they were very fresh. I like the option of white or brown rice I believe they offer the long grain which is so plump and tasty! We both left thinking it was a really good lunch I’d recommend them :)

Pei Wei is fresh, large portions, and not incredibly slow. However, Pei Wei’s prices don’t necessarily line up with the quality(in my opinion) of the food. I’ve paid a lot less for a heaping pile of delicious asian goodness that has surpassed Pei Wei by miles. If you’re in the area though and don’t have much time it’s an okay establishment. However, be prepared, if you’re sharing a bed with someone else later that evening, to make the ridiculously hard decision to fart on someone or to be farted on. The good and bad, it’s pretty okay good, but you’re basically paying to have your stomach filled with explosive, horrific, toxic gasses.

Our office ordered lunch from the restaurant today, for approximately 10 people. Of course we all had special requests and the orders were right on. They even took the time to write each individual name on our trays so there was no guessing what belonged to whom. Now, taste wise, I would have a difficult time distinguishing this from Panda Express or P.F. Chang’s. The price was higher than the locally owned Asian restaurants I frequent, with smaller portion size though the meal was adequately filling. I chose the Mongolian Steak; I was surprised that the dish offered no vegetable accompaniment so I chose to add broccoli. I found the sauce to be a little bland; luckily they supplied me with a generous amount of soy sauce and chile paste on the side. Considering the meal was transported about 15 minutes to our office it was piping hot and did not seem to have been sitting out under a heat lamp for any period of time. Overall, I would say this is an okay option. I will probably not dine here on any regular basis but I may decide to give it another try.

I’ll always love this pei wei location. I like that its pretty predictable and solid. The crab wontons are better than they are at pf changs. I enjoy dan dan noodles, pei wei spicy chicken, kung pow chicken with fried rice(both are made with same sauce) then on a simple night honey seared or mongolian. I thought i would always love this location for the familiarity of it all but the prices have sky rocketed! They used to have a lunch meal that included a spring roll, thats gone. The egg rolls are full of meat now. Maybe it’s the fancy digital menus that changed this place, feels as though the magic of the pei wei diner is gone. Just another link in the chain.

I’m a fan of the texture and colour of food as well as the flavour. And there are three reasons right there that I like Pei Wei’s. The food is flavourful without being too complex and is always presented in a very pleasing way — either dining in or take-out. I like spicy and Pei Wei’s delivers a reasonable kick considering it is a chain catering to the everybodys; the Thai Coconut Curry and Sriracha Chicken are both spicy if not exactly hot. You can always mix things up. I have always found the wait– and kitchen-staff helpful in creating a custom dish if no stock menu items seem to match my mood. The on-line ordering is a wonderful thing. I can put in an order and specify a pick-up time and it is always waiting for me when I get there to pick it up. The one time my order was not ready at the pick-up time I had specified, the staff was very pleasant and gave me a complimentary drink while I waited(a whopping 5 minutes). This location gets crazy busy at lunch time so planning around the rush-hour is a good idea as the line can easily go out the door and tables can be hard to come by. All-in-all always a good eating experience. You’re not going to get Asian food like you bought off that cart on your trek through Vietnam when you were 17, but it is good Asian-themed food at a reasonable price.
