Food was fine, but service was dire on our visit to this restaurant. As a 52 year old person from out of state(with entirely white hair), I was refused a glass of wine because I had neglected to bring my driver’s license. I went back to my hotel room for my DL while we waited for our food. My salad was tasty, but the spring mix was too old and some bits were slimy and brown. I sorted out the slimy leaves and left them on my plate. When I told the the waitperson that they should alert the cooks that the spring mix needed to be discarded or sorted, she shrugged. As we were leaving she seemed to think we were leaving without paying although we paid and tipped well to the other waitperson working. In all a real service disaster. Hopefully, this was not a typical customer experience.

Nice hip atmosphere, with high ceilings, white and red-orange décor, large bar in center of the space. My burger was tasty and interesting. The server was very nice, I realized that having left the hotel without my wallet, I now had not enough cash to pay the bill. She understood when I ran back to my room to get some form of payment. Their location on a corner downtown is in the middle of everything. I’ll be back if we ever stay downtown again.

Awesome food! Love that it’s local :) Server was kind. However, they had the door open. It’s winter mind you.(The high today is 44). And when asked if they could please close the door, which had been open for 10 minutes already, I was told that the manager said they could not. So I got to eat with my huge fluffy winter jacket on. Not preferred.

Two and a half stars, the sides were ok(except the onion rings, bland with a oh spicy tingle, no yummy flavor) but the burgers we just so so. Not much flavor in them, and a dollar per extra topping, no matter what it is, is pretty ridiculous. I’ll pay it for a nice topping but for a slice of tomato, or lettuce. Nope. My kid didn’t really want to finish her kids meal, but I insisted since she chose where we were eating. The tea was horrible, very chemical tasting. With other burger and pizza joints all around, we would not try again, as we can get red robin for the same price but much better tasting(we try to avoid eating at big names so we can support small business, but the food has to at least be decent).

The ahi tuna salad was fantastic. A little heavy on dressing but that’s my fault for not asking on side. I went for lunch and it fairly busy and only had tables by the window and with no blinds it gets pretty warm sitting in the sun.

I really enjoyed my burger and deep fried green beans. The Sante Fe Java was a great brew pairing. I returned for the happy hour to enjoy the brew at half price. Very impressed with this establishment so close to the convention center.

The food here is good but service is not that great. We never got mustard and we were without refills. We did not see the same server all the time.

This place has gone through tough times, name change after name change, and I’ve never really been impressed. I have to say this time I left satiated. I had the Burqueno Burger with added bacon. It was delicious and pleasantly spicy. The burger was juicy, flavorful and cooked just the way I asked. The fresh side salad was perfectly coated with a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. The service was great, which came as no surprise as we were the only people in there on a Sunday at noon. They have a nice selection of local beers. I don’t recommend the bloody Mary since it is made with wine-based liquor, which in my opinion tastes sour and gross. Opt for a beer instead.

Great local sourced beer & burgers. Variety of fun choices and variety of meat or seafood or veggie burger to go inside. Definately try the fried green beans — Yum!

Had the Burqueno burger. It was great. Def add green chilies! All of the burgers looked amazing and the flavor is on point! Try the onion rings as well as your side. Good flavor. Parm fries were typical.

Good burger. Even with them getting the order wrong, it still enjoyed it. The cost is a about 15% more than Albuquerque’s Holy Cow burgers, which I argue are superior. I ordered the BurQueno burger($ 9.50), with a fried egg(+$ 1) and this comes with one of six or so free sides, or for a $ 2.50 up charge, one of six premium sides. I ordered fried green been fries with white cheddar queso(free). Although they brought green chile cheese fries instead($ 2.50 up charge). I tried the green chile cheese fries, but they weren’t very good. So I left them on the plate. Bummer since I really was looking forward to the fried green beans.

I called in an order for lunch one day — the BurQueño burger on a bed of greens with sweet potato tots. Service was fast and friendly, but I requested«medium well» and the burger ended up more«medium rare». So… that was unfortunate. I zapped it in the microwave and all was well. I did appreciate their unique menu and craft beers on tap, as well as their central(on Central) location, so I’d go back to try out the«dine in» experience.

Food: I was in town for the Duke City Marathon and my normal meal before a race is a burger, so I came here after doing a little browsing on Unilocal.I liked the place enough that I came back here post race with my friend for another burger. For my first visit, I ordered their Q Burger with Sweet Potato Tots. I don’t like sweet potatoes and before coming here, I’ve never eaten them as tater tots. I’ve only eaten regular tater tots. I can honestly say that they were actually pretty good. The burger was pretty much their version of the bacon cheeseburger. It was pretty good for a burger. I had a Marble IPA to go with it. On my second visit, I had their BurQueño Burger with green bean fries. The green chile added a nice kick to the burger. I would definitely pick this burger over the regular Q Burger. With the burger I ordered the La Cumbre IPA and Santa Fe Happy Camper IPA. Service: Bartenders were cool and friendly for both of my visits. Location: The restaurant is located at the Northwest corner of 3rd St and Central Ave in downtown Albuquerque. There’s a lot of foot and car traffic in this area and it’s really easy to find.

Great food, ambiance, service, and beer selection! I have been to this place a few times and the experience is always the same. The employees are friendly and knowledgable. The food is always excellent… the red chile battered onion rings with Parmesan ranch dressing-drop dead yummy! The location and ambiance are also perfect! Add the great selection of locally, crafted brews, and I am a happy girl. Their black cherry margarita is good too. And now I’m hungry…

I really wanted to like this place but as much as I tried I just couldn’t… We hadn’t planned on coming here for dinner but as Tucanos had a long wait and we were hungry we decided to give it a try. I was instantly put off by the chipped table tops(photo added) and dirty high chair, the whole place had an unfinished feel to it… The onion wings tasted like old dirty oil, disgusting and my burger was super over cooked and I like them more on the well side so that’s saying something, it was almost difficult to eat it was that dry… My husband said his was over cooked slightly but he quite liked his, the kids meals were on the higher price side compared to most other places, the parmesan fries were nice and prob the highlight of our meal. We won’t be returning here there are way better options out there…

Time to update this review, inspired by several recent visits which have consistently delivered the Really Goods. This place nails 4 stars and bridges 5, it simply hits on every front. The burgers are fantastic, easily competing with or beating the competition throughout the city: medium rare spills juice on the platter, and it’s locally sourced beef. But that’s only the beginning, here. As I mentioned in the previous review, the sides are like a stoner’s favorite high-grade: queso gone wild, crazy fried green beans with white cheddar, sweet potato tots. The place really excels at the unusual. Recently I tried a Yak burger and it didn’t make me yak, today lamb was the special. Absolutely awesome. Like Bistronomy B2B in Nob Hill, they offer plenty of vegetarian fare that totally competes with the carnivore fare. And the ahi tuna salad is truly artisan, a great change of protein pace, splendorific. Sesame seeds, fillet cooked just past rare, a pile of greens with just the right dob of dressing, it’s as good as the spreads at Vinaigrette and a few bucks cheaper. I love the décor, the wait staff is on top of it, I simply cannot comprehend why the place ain’t packed for the lunch hour. Er, maybe I’m just Q-riuos. It’s one of the best.

We had a great little burger here last week. The location, atmosphere and comfy seating were all 5-stars. I ordered the Turkey burger, which came out on a fresh, fluffy bun. It was a good temperature and flavor. I loved the parmesan fries, which were perfectly fried and seasoned. The local Pilsner was perfect alongside this burger and fry goodness. The service could have been better — we had two different people, neither one of them were very friendly. I think they were either short-staffed, because they both seemed like they would have preferred to work the bar rather than wait on our table. Then again, it is sort of like a big bar with a few tables, so maybe that’s to be expected. Either way, I would totally eat here again, especially after a long day of travel when all you need is a hot burger, good fries and a cold beer.
