Came in close to closing and they didn’t even flinch before seating us. Service was friendly, and the phở was exactly what we were looking for. Great broth, fresh veggies, and the meat wasn’t overcooked. Definitely worth the stop.

I called in for a to-go order here & told them that I would get there at a certain time. I came in 5 minutes before the time specified & my order was not ready until a half hour later. The guy who took my order over the phone was quite rude & I had to repeat my order to him at least 5 times. Therefore, this isn’t really an ideal place for placing to-go orders or anything of that sort.

Que Huong serves the best Phở’ in the city of Albuquerque there rice and noodle dishes are great I recommend the #107 clay pot or # 20 well done beef and meatball soup.

This used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in all of ABQ. The phở was richly flavored and reasonably populated with the selected meat garnish. The salt lime soda was a salty citrus symphony. Alas, no more. The phở broth has all the flavor of a well boiled dishrag. The beef was tough, flavorless and scant. The lime soda had just merely been waved over the jar of salt limes. Sad, sad. The staff was adequately friendly. But the bill never came, requiring a trip to the cash register and the waiter had to put down his cell phone to settle up. I’ll be looking for another Vietnamese phở stop

Another review that’s 3 months late, sorry guys! My boyfriend and I came here because it was well reviewed and the only thing open as late as it was. Unfortunately, this was another restaurant that we went to when I was horribly sick. I was craving Phở and am a firm believer that Phở can help a cold! Even though we arrived quite close to closing they were very accommodating. I ordered the… Phở(but which specific one… I have no idea) and the Taro smoothie. Both were tasty! Unfortunately, I can’t say much more since I was viciously sick the day we were here. However, next business trip I’ll be back and write a much better review, Promise!!!

Let me start by saying, the food was pretty decent… when I actually GOT it. Having owned my own restaurant, I know how technology can cause issues with tickets. But I literally waited 45 minutes to get my food(way after my dining companion did) and the place only had maybe 6 full tables at the time(and less when I arrived). The wait staff kept glancing at my table in horror that my plate wasn’t there yet and yelled in Vietnamese to the cook staff several times but no one came to tell me what was going on. They just kept saying it was coming. As it turns out, the ticket system went down and they were manually processing. So again, food good… communication not so good.

A friend and I dined here last night on the recommendation of another friend. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We both ordered the special near the back of the menu(107) — a combination of meats and vegetables stirfried over rice and served in a clay pot. I look forward to coming back and exploring other dishes, too.

Best phở around! Clean && modern atmosphere with a friendly staff! I won’t go to another phở spot after tasting this blessed bowl of Vietnamese soup! If you haven’t tried it I highly recommend it! Yummy yummy in my tummy.

Flew into Albuquerque and stopped here for lunch before making my 3.5 hour drive to Shiprock! What a great little place. I was craving phở, so that’s exactly what I ordered. I ordered the tofu phở which was a first-time experience for me. Not even three minutes after I ordered, the chef approached me and asked if I wanted to try his new version of the soup, completely vegetarian but with all the flavors, herbs, and spice of traditional meat phở. I agreed(though to be honest I’m not exactly sure how the original dish differs!) and was served about 5 minutes later. The soup was packed full of fresh veggies including carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and cabbage. SO delicious. There was also lots of great tofu in there, the broth wasn’t too oily, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It was a nice, hearty serving and exactly what I had had in mind! I really loved this place and also the personal touch by the chef! I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and I paid $ 10 with tip. What more can I ask for?

My wife and I are Phở Phanatics! We just moved to ABQ so we’re new to the Phở scene here but in our old city, with a large Vietnamese population, we tried and evaluated about 14 of the phở places around. As we embark on trying all(yes, eventually, all…) of the phở around us in ABQ, we decided it is best to make a general guideline of what we’re evaluating. Note that there is not necessarily a «better» answer to some of these: Summary(TL/DR): Very good soup with dominant flavors of clove. While the richness and mouthfeel were good, there was too much oil on the top. The meats were flavorful but the Tai was overcooked. Overall though, it was a good bowl of soup and we will be back. Also, very good service — — — — — — — — — — — — - Broth: ## Clarity(note that traditionally, a clear broth is good): Is there oil on the broth? Broth was clear with nice brown hue. A good bit of oil in the broth. Could have been skimmed better ## Flavor? What are the dominant flavors/spices? How sweet is the broth? Discuss salt levels. Dominant spice was clearly clove. Not necessarily bad but strong. Didn’t taste much cinnamon. On the slightly sweeter side but very good. Salty but not out of the ordinary for phở. ## Note other factor such as mouthfeel, richness, and aroma: Good, rich mouthfeel but left lots of oil on the palate. Aroma also mostly of clove. — — — — — — — — — — — — - Other Ingredients: ## Discuss proportions of meat, noodles, broth, onions, etc. Nice amount of broth and noodles. Light but not insufficient amount of meat. ## Noodles: Are they loose or in a big clump? Are they well cooked? Well cooked and dispersed. Not a massive clump. Flavorful ## Meat: Was the Tai served rare? Texture and thickness? Fattiness of the other meat(relative to tradition and personal preference)? Tai was served already overcooked in broth. Would have preferred it rare on top or on the side. The Chin(brisket) was broken into pieces but very flavorful. A bit fatty for my preference but probably in line with what is traditional. Good thickness(thinness?) of the meats. ## Garnish: Are they fresh? Was there enough? Did they serve cilantro? Garnishes were fresh and abundant. They also served cilantro which is a plus in my book. The basil was very pretty with some seeds at the top. — — — — — — — — — — — — - Other Details: ## Menu Selection: Was there a good selection of non-Phở meals? Interesting appetizers? Any different or interesting add-ons(e.g. fried egg)? Was the option for extra meat and/or broth listed on the menu? Seemed to be a big menu with lots of inexpensive appetizers. They had tons of soups besides phở including Udon(strange but intrigued). We got Vietnamese rolls which were pretty large. They could have used more meat. No listed option for more meat but you could get the large version(see below too). ##Utensils: Were forks already at the table(neither good nor bad)? Did the spoons have the hooks to prevent them from falling into the soup? They had forks at the table already. The spoons did not have hooks and kept falling into the bowl. :-( ## Service: The server(s) were very friendly and personable. I ordered the large but they forgot and brought me the regular. However, it was absolutely more than enough food. They were great with filling the water including not adding ice to an already filled cup. ## Price: Very reasonable. Phở was ~$ 8. ## Hours: Sufficient.

My new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! Everything on the menu was so tasty. I usually bring 3 generations of picky eaters and they all raved about all the dishes. A good and favorable sign is when the spring rolls have a great sauce that come with it! quá ngon!

I had always wondered how good this place really was, but it appears Unilocal!was spot on with what to expect here. From the moment I entered, I was attended to quickly and consistently. In fact, my drink never fell below half as they constantly checked on me and refilled it. The interior is very clean and all the staff are super friendly. I had to try my universal favorite Vietnamese dish the noodle bowl with pork and egg roll. Let me say that this place is not cheap with their portions. I received a bowl stuffed almost to the top with noddles and the meats. It took a lot to finish this plate which is not typical of eating Vietnamese. Another thing that stood out was the good flavor of the dish as it was. This plate at most other joints is flavorless until you add fish sauce and siracha so big plus here. The food is also very reasonably priced at less than 10 bucks a plate. The only reason I did not rate it at a five is because of the sketchy location in which it is located. There are some pretty strung out looking creeples walking around the parking lot. It’s a good lunch spot for me but I don’t know if I would bring the kids along because of the location. Overall, really impressive food at reasonable prices.

Vietnamese restaurants are taking over Albuquerque and they all seem to be pretty awesome just like Que Huong. This place was recommended by a coworker and it was very enjoyable. The Phở here is excellent and has one of the better broths around town I will be back to try other items on the menu. The spring rolls were not to impressive but the Phở made up for it.

For the flavor and price this was some pretty good vietnamese cuisine the menu consists of the usual vietnamese culinary affair phở, bun, and my personal favorite the simple and always flavorful bahn mi. For a southern california native who lived in Little Saigon area of Orange County, this place had rather large shoes to fill, but I was quickly won over by the cost and overall taste, considering the area, this place has the potential to be something great.

Wow yum, you delicious, not-so-little chicken lemongrass noodle bowl. I would slurp you all down in one sitting but it would incapacitate me to the state of a soft noodle myself. Crisp shredded lettuce, silky noodles, and chicken coated with a luscious, fragrant, but not too spicy sauce melt into a mélange of subtle lemongrass notes accented by chili, garlic, and lime. The leftovers happily marinate in the sauce, maintaining their softness until the moment comes when they’re inhaled into your stomach directly from the fridge and you’re left staring down at an an empty Styrofoam take-out box, vestiges of noodles past clinging to the sides, wondering how that happened.

I love their vermacelli dishes. Out of all the places I go I frequent this one the most. I tried the the chicken curry today and was really disappointed at its lack of spice. I love spicy curry, but maybe not this place. The atmosphere is always calm and quiet and it’s kind of a hidden gem.

Que Huong is a perfect place to try Phở for the first time. I am a regular to this restaurant because of their delicious vegetarian tofu rice noodle soup and their yummy spring rolls with peanut sauce. We went last saturday night and there was only one other couple. It was windy and freezing out. The soup with extra toppings(cilantro, sprouts, lime, etc) and siricha was perfect to eat before a night out in the cold. Inexpensive too! My taste buds yearn for more just writing about it. The inside is nice and looks remodeled and clean. Not on the best side of town, but it’s definitely worth the trip!
