Our waiter was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were good. The beer selection is perfect. My only complaint is the atmosphere. It’s way too loud inside. Outside is nice, but you are sitting on a picnic table and that’s not very comfortable. Based on the atmosphere this won’t be a place I go frequently.

For what we wanted to do. Have a drink… On a patio with a Mountain view… I think this place was perfectly chosen! Plus Gene Simmons owns it soo def a plus! And my dog is allowed here which is slim to come by!

Another dog show weekend, and another quest for dog friendly places. This place was nice, as I was able to have tattoos ablazin’ and my obscenely red hair appreciated. Patios were nice, attentive service. It was much appreciated that the wait staff were knowledgeable about the beer menu and helped me picked out something that suited my tastes. The Ruben was decent, but the star of the plate was the sweet potato fries. Nice, casual atmosphere with lots of friendly folks on the patio. When I’m back in the fall, I’ll head back here for dinner.

Ok… so I have the expectations of someone in the business and Albuquerque doesn’t seem to have a great restaurant scene… so to be super impressed on a Monday says a lot about this place. Hands down the best service I’ve had in ten years in ABQ from front door to manager all spectacular. Most of the food is made in house can’t beat that. Atmosphere was cool. We will be back for another round in the future.

Food was ok. Good but not great. Service was kinda pathetic. Waitress didn’t acknowledge me even though she was serving table next to me. Hostess brought me menu almost ten minutes later. Told him i was about to walk out. He took my order then she finally came over and said she’d be my waitress. She didn’t do anything but check on me twice and being my bill. Don’t plan on coming back, not worth it.

Music videos and live sports on the many large flat screens, you’ve got my attention. Excellent selection of beers, tequilas and even wine. Super friendly staff, always willing to let you sample when trying something new. I love to enjoy local flavors when I travel. My suggestion, Maui wowi pizza, substitute green Hatch chillies for the jalapenos and a couple of local La Cumbre Elevated IPAs, yum.

First time here. Both my wife and I enjoyed the place. Service was good(thanks Alex) food was good, what we liked about the place was the atmosphere. We don’t usually go the chain restaurants but we thought we would make the exception and we were quite pleased. Will recommend Rock and Brews to all our friends.

Very disappointed my son and I were in town for his doctors appointment and decided to stop and eat here before our two drive back home. We were seated right away but after that nothing, we sat there waiting for twenty minutes and never saw a waiter or waitress, they just walks past us like we didn’t exist. Three servers stood by the open area that leads out to the patio watching us, and as we got up to leave one asked«how was everything?» I replied«We wouldn’t know we never got waited on». If I could give negative stars I would first and last time we will be there.

I wish I could give it 0 stars for not being in my town! Awesome place. I have been always treated well and the food has always been made just how I want it. I love the way they make it work, even when I ask for my crazy combos. I will always look for this place where I go. Good music food and people!

The atmosphere is always great and I love that they have a full bar for those of us who don’t really drink beer. The food is yummy and there are multiple arrangements of seating, inside and outside, if the weather is decent. I have tried various food items on the menu and have enjoyed each one. It is cool when they have specialty Brewers that take over taps for the evening because my friends who do drink beer collect their glasses, LOL. A fun place to bring the family, not just for adults.

Fun place and good food. I think they have the best calamari in town. We had the garlic fries and they were very tasty, but could have been crispier. I had the green chile cheeseburger. The thick whole roasted green chile was delicious! But the burger patty itself could have used more seasoning. My son had the pizza and said it was very good. Service was good.

I’ve enjoyed Rock N Brews several times now. The food is consistently good, with a nice variety on the menu. I’ve enjoyed the steak tacos, pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, hot wings, fries, burgers, and the purple rain drop dessert. All yummy. The service is typically spot on, the bar menu is expansive, and I’ve never waited for a seat. The patio is awesome and in use most of the year with heaters and giant family style tables with picnic bench seating. It’s a bit loud with the rock music videos in the background, but if it’s too loud, you’re too old.

All I wanted was chili fries… An hour later. No chili fries. Worst day of my life! I begged the waiter for my check early because he didn’t bring my chili fries. He never came back but was able to give me my check which included the fries. A different waitress brought my check that had the bill without fries. Told the bar manager and he went to get the manager and yes he manager never came. So no waiter, no bar manager, manager and no FRIES. Simple task for them and they could not complete… Not cool Rock and Brews… Not cool.

Great service, good food at reasonable prices, and rock-n-roll music throughout — what can be better? The Asian chicken wings are awesome. The 5 cheese mac-n-cheese is the best I’ve had(besides home-made). Try their beer cocktails!

Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! This restaurant was an utter disappointment. We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday because we were sick of going to his favorite restaurant(Sadie’s), boy do I wish we would have just gone to Sadie’s. Now, mind you, I had expectations thinking this restaurant would be like Hard Rock Café where you pay a little more for your food and the food isn’t amazing, but its at least appetizing, has a good atmosphere there, and the quantity sizes are decent. We get there on Friday night at 6:30pm. There was no wait time and there were plenty of available tables. Maybe that was a bad sign? The waitress was pretty good, but unfortunately the food, beverages, and prices — were a complete turnoff. The Food: Since we were celebrating, we ordered two appetizers, 2 alcoholic beverages, and our 3 entrees. I was so excited about their giant soft pretzel as an appetizer(with my carb addiction). Although large in size, it was bland, the sauce it came with was terrible tasting, and it wasn’t really a «soft» pretzel, it was a «hard» pretzel. The garlic cheese fries were small quantity and super greasy, they were literally gross. Then, my son had the meatball sub — he thought it was tasteless, dry, and lacking the marinara flavor you get from a meatball. He said that Subway had better meatball subs(and it won’t costly nearly as much). I cannot remember what my husband ate, but it wasn’t memorable. I ordered a cobb salad, like I ALWAYS do with new restaurants that I haven’t tried before — because its hard to mess up a salad, right? Wrong. It was all iceburg lettuce, the lettuce was browning and the portion size was small and there was barely any toppings on it. For beverages, I got the«Comfortably Numb,» which is Malibu, fresh orange and pineapple juices, and Captain Morgan. It was okay, not that strong and for $ 8+ it was also small, so it wasn’t that great either. Overall, I was really disappointed with this restaurant. Maybe word has gotten out that the food sucks, because it was a dead zone there on a Friday night.

This place is cool. They have this lethal drink, Comfortably Numb, that tastes like a trip to Mexico. Like sunshine and fun. It has a dangerous amount of alcohol in it, so I have to limit myself to two. Anyway, I’ve had a few lunches here and a few happy hours and one dinner, so I can provide a decently well-rounded review. First of all, don’t go here for a business lunch unless you’re prepared to yell through it and if your lunch partner is hip to tattoos, gauges, and some risqué clothing decisions by the wait staff. The music is loud, and the service is loose. But it’s fun and definitely has an atmosphere. So for happy hour or an upbeat, casual meal, it’s the bomb. The food is good. On the expensive side, and nothing that was mind-blowing. But definitely a step above your average chain. I usually get their hot pretzel as an appetizer, and it’s huge. Share-worthy. They offer a doggy brew for canine companions on the patio, which captures my heart. They ripped out the kids play set, which I used to love. Moment of silence, and a star deducted.

So, I do my best to avoid large chain restaurants and their frozen entrees and heavily-salted appetizers. Add Gene Simmons to this endeavor and you just know he’s come up with every way to squeeze another quarter out of your pocket. Then I walked in the door. Cocktails made with local beers? More than 2 local beer taps? Green chile offerings??? This is a chain!!! Since that first entry, my wife and I have decided this is our dog’s favorite restaurant. Not many places we can grab a Slice of Hefein or a Brown Eyed Ale, catch the game, eat a really good burger or plate of fish tacos AND let our dog enjoy some fresh air. They even have a dog friendly menu with unsalted burger patties or a chicken, rice and veggies bowl that looks better than the food I get at other places. As for the food, I have yet to be disappointed, ribs, burgers, fish tacos, pizzas, all good enough to come back for. The most impressive part is the music. Plenty of rock from The Doors to Disturbed but it’s never too loud to have a good conversation.

Rock and Brews is a really fun experience, with a taste of local beers, and delicious food! The menu is really long, but showcases pub type food but with a New Mexico influence. Lots of green chilis of course, tacos, and dishes with a Tex-Mex feel in addition to burgers, sandwiches, and other more typical bar foods. Happily they also serve beer flights so when you can’t decide what to order(the taps go on and on) you can have fun tasting new things. Our food: tacos and a burger was really flavorful, the fries were especially good. Service is friendly but brisk, the servers are helpful but are busy. The décor is funky rock and roll posters and lots of TV’s show sports and old school music videos. Seating is wide open and there are lots of community tables in the bar area which makes for interesting eavesdropping if not new friends :) I really like Rock and Brews and think it’s a great place for a young crowd. Seems like a good place for conversation and meeting new people. I look forward to going back especially since the patio is dog friendly. I think the patio might be better suited for our family. We prefer a quieter space and the ability to talk to each other over watching TV.

We came here to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday and father’s day. It was quite busy for lunch. The place is decorated nicely with a rock n roll them. The bar has quite a bit of different«brews» to choose from. The hostess wanted to sit us(3) in a large booth that could easily fit 8 people, we asked for a table instead. The outdoor seating looks nice if it was not so hot outside. I had the fish tacos and asked for no black beans, but coleslaw instead… but I got the black beans, it probably would have helped if she wrote our order down. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich(he said the BBQ sauce was awesome) with sweet potato fries. My son just wanted onion rings. We had iced tea, but it was warm and melted the ice so we had to ask for more ice, I hate that… The food was just okay, nothing to brag about really. It would be a great place for a few beers and appetizers. The plus was the 80’s rock music and videos playing on the many TVs. I would probably go back for a beer and pretzel.

I’m not hating– this place is just a solid 3. Food is reliably good, drinks are plentiful, service is as it should be, and it’s always a good experience. This is a great lunch spot for a day out with the dogs– the patio is dog friendly and super pleasant to hang out on even on a chilly day(they have heaters). I usually get a burger or sandwich of some kind, and I haven’t evr had anything to complain about. The staff is super friendly and sweet to my dogs. All in all, it’s not a place I crave to be at but it’s a good spot to hang out and eat a good lunch.
