This place is perfect if you want mediocre food and service. Me and my husband went after 10pm to eat and enjoy the half price appetizers special. The hostess wasn’t even there to greet us, and another hostess was to busy looking out the window to acknowledge us at all. Finally we got sat, the hostess was not friendly she seem like we were bugging her. Our server was quick to get our drink order, but she was again not friendly. These people are lacking in customer service big time, even the management. The food wasn’t good, and it took forever to come out. My husband order the grilled club, his bread was soggy when it came out even though the bread was toasted. My burger also had soggy bread and no taste when I ate it there was just piles of grease on it. The server kept our drinks full, and did the bare minimum. She didn’t even notice when I was picking at my food, because she didn’t ask until after we were finished. When I said it was okay she didn’t even care enough to respond to me she just walked off. It very disappointing to me to see such terrible service at such a prime location spot, if your looking for good food and service go in the daytime before five. The service is eons better, the bartender Simon is amazing his also a server I recommend getting him because his the best.

Food is pretty good but the atmosphere is dark and tables small. Not good for groups. Service we had was below average which, to me, is almost as important as the food. That means I won’t be back.

My daughter and I wanted to take dad to eat, an early Fathers Day. Dad choose Applebee’s as he likes their bar burgers. They no longer serve the bar burgers, it’s ok he went with the rib basket. Basically the service was terrible, the bathroom was disgusting, the utensils were dirty, and the food average. Dad says while were walking out«should of went to Chili’s. Very disappointed, I was really excited about their new menu additions.

First and last time I place a Car side to Go order here. I placed the order, paid and was told it would be ready at 3:45. When I got to the parking lot about 3:40, there was no designated«Car side» orders parking spot, so I called and asked where I should park and the host told me «in front of the patio.» I drove over near the patio and every spot was full and there still was no specifically designated spot for to go orders. So I found the first empty spot I could find and waited til 4:00 and my order had not been brought out to me nor had anyone called to say it was ready. So I had to go inside to pick it up instead(which defeats the purpose of «Car Side to Go»). When I walked in the host greeted and seated the guests in front of me and then the guests behind me and left me standing there waiting. When she returned she told me to go to the bartender to get my order. When I went to the bar to speak to the bartender, she was not friendly. She just asked my name and tossed my order on the counter, gave me the receipt to sign(which I signed without including a tip due to this horrible customer service from everyone involved) and turned around and returned to her work. There was no apology for the wait or the fact that my food was sitting on a counter getting cold when it should have been ready at 3:45, not 4:00 when I finally decided to go inside and see what was taking so long! The point of to go orders is efficiency. People that use this service are usually in a hurry and don’t have time for this horrible lack of customer service and job knowledge. I do not recommend this location for Car Side to Go orders!

More relaxed and not uptight like others I’ve been to. Just ordered a carb friendly ‘Debi’ burger with a kiwi ice tea. Awesome!

I have eaten at this location several times over the years, and every time I have had good food, but spotty service. It all depends on the server, how long he/she has been on the job, how he/she views the job, i.e., «is this just a job that puts a little cash in my pocket?» OR «is this a job where I can help people, make people feel better, and send them away with a good taste in their mouths rather than a bad one. Of course, a lot also depends on the manager. Yesterday, July 2, I had lunch here with one of my best friends, who happens to be in a wheelchair… and obviously can’t get up stairs. I was about 10 minutes early, and noted that both of the handicapped parking places were occupied. I went in to face a very surly and mostly unhelpful young man(Dom) who was supposed to be the host. I told him that I was meeting someone who is in a wheelchair and that someone without any handicapped authority was parked in one of the spaces(I had definitely checked the plate before I complained). He turned and walked to the back of the restaurant; he returned followed by the manager who acknowledged the complaint but said«we don’t have any way of knowing who it is.» I pointed out that they have an intercom system, and she instructed the servers around her to check each occupied table for the culprit — turned out to be a young man about 22 years old who almost trotted to his car to move it.(New Mexico has a pretty hefty fine for those who flaunt the law and park in designated spaces without the proper authority.) I had told the surly young host(Dom) that I needed a table on the main level for my friend and me, and he initially intended to put us on the upper level – but I reminded him we needed to be on the main level because of the chair. He grudgingly prepared the table for us. When my friend arrived, Dom did open the inside door for us to get into the building, and when I asked him to confirm that the corner table in the bar area was ours, he sort of nodded his head, and we moved to the table on our own. Then the GREAT fun started. William«Just call me Bill» was our server, and he was(1)polite,(2)helpful,(3)attentive without seeming to be hovering,(4)and generally a great server.(Pay attention, Manager. This young man has a future and is after your job.) He accommodated our orders for iced tea – and plenty of it – and extra ice by bringing us a pitcher of tea for our table and kept us supplied with glasses of ice throughout our entire 1.75 hours of occupancy. He made sure that we had everything we wanted, he came back periodically to make sure that we were okay or if we needed anything, and he was at our table to help my friend get situated to leave. He was unlike many other servers at Applebee’s in the past who, when the bill has been settled, abandon the party. Even after we had settled the bill but we were still yakking, he came by and checked on us and brought us yet another glass of ice. The food we had was excellent. We had the Two for $ 20 deal, with onion rings for appetizer, for which William brought us a small bowl of ranch dressing. When our entrees came — chicken fingers basket and house sirloin– they were hot and cooked perfectly(he was Johnny-on-the-spot to bring them), then made more than one trip to bring extra stuff – sauce for the chicken, A-1 sauce for the steak, and butter for the veggies. He is a GOOD server. We were sort of disappointed when we realized that the deal didn’t include dessert but we got the chocolate madness whatever it is called and devoured it. In all, our total bill came to $ 32.39, well worth the money, time and aggravation of surly young Dom, and William«Just call me Bill» got a hefty tip. Yes, I’ll go back to this restaurant. It is our go-to place, as we live on opposite sides of the valley and it’s in the middle. Notes to this Applebee’s: 1. You need more than two(2) handicapped spots in front of your establishment. Designating the spots down the entire west side of the building would be a step in the right direction. 2. You need to provide more table-level seating on the main/bar level – having only one«handicapped» table just doesn’t meet the intent of ADA accommodation. 3. Young Dom, server/host/surly young man, needs to be removed from any customer contact until he can develop a people-friendly attitude. 4. William«Just call me Bill» is a keeper — don’t lose him. 5. The ladies room is almost inaccessible to someone in a chair. The approach is partially blocked with high chairs and the entrance is an angled hallway partly occupied by the open door, making access tenuous at best. ADA needs to take a look.
