One star… maybe. Got to restaurant about 7 pm on Sunday of Labor Day weekend 2015. Party of 5. Sign said closes at 9 pm. Even tho waitress worked to serve us, everything else was terrible. First clue should of been when waitress reported back that bar had run out of margaritas. Second clue should of been their reluctance to bring out more chips and salsa after repeated requests… and then the waitress reporting back after about 30 min that they had actually ran out of chips. When food finally came it was terrible… cheese quesadilla was a poor attempt — not sure what it was… adding cheese and tortilla would have helped. Indian Taco was tasteless and also showed signs of running out of cheese. The worse thing is nobody seemed to care… manager had reportedly left already. Ok, zero stars.

As long as you don’t actually want anything listed on the menu, it might be an okay place to eat. We came here and they didn’t have any wine, any seafood, carnitas or about ¾ of the menu. Probably explains why the place is nearly empty.

We had a very nice and professional waiter here today(Adrienne)! Our food came out very fast and it was great! Very reasonable prices, plus you get good sized portions! But make sure you save room for sopapillas!!! They came with the meals and were soooo good… could only get a pic of the last one because we all grabbed one like crazed animals!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Crappy food! Expensive, praying I don’t get sick. They asked how are food was and we told them, they didn’t care, so we warned 2 potential customers how bad they suck.

Albuquerque La Hacienda is worth the trip! I am a consumer that dines out no less then 4 – 5 days a week. I have had Taco Cabana, Garcia’s, Chili’s, El Pinto, Los Cuates and TACOBELL! I arrived here Jan 2012 from MEXICO. I lived in a beautiful costal community right in the heart of Mexico called Manzanillo. After living in Mexico for 3 years and eating primarily MEXICAN food for 3 yrs straight I believe I have a pretty good Idea as to what traditional Mexican food is supposed taste like. La Hacienda Restaurant and Sports Cantina not only serves excellent food, the prices are good and more importantly the staff are very service friendly! I am not aware of any other restaurants or establishments in Albuquerque with the right mix of ingredients to provide you with good food, friendly staff and best of all 32, and I repeat 32 big screens to watch ANY sporting event of your liking. Not only the LOBOS, UFC, soccer, football, baseball, etc… Bottom line, if your looking or thinking that La Hacienda is going to be a MEXICAN-FRENCH(FIVESTAR *****) restaurant with spicy snails and a french cheff that’s going to come out and Flambeau your tacos NOT!!! Excellent Mexican food, fair prices, nice atmosphere, and a great sports bar where you don’t have to wait in line or fight over a T.V. At the Hacienda it’s a laid back restaurant without all the hype of women in tight tops, short –shorts and obnoxious patrons drooling over the waitress’s. Like I said from a guys night out, a nice family experience, to a girls getaway, all around this is a great place! Easy to find and no shortage of parking close to the door. Give it a try, I believe you will like the experience. Mr. Ed

Terrible food. Terrible service. Terrible atmosphere. This is a one-star buffet restaurant at heart, priced as a 3-star sports pub.

Me and a group of 10 friends came here to watch the Lobo/SDSU game. BIGMISTAKE. This place was a hot mess from top to bottom. The service was the absolute worst I’ve experienced in my life. About 20 minutes pass and we still haven’t seen a waitress. We had to tell the hostess to get us some help. A waitress finally appears and of course she doesn’t bring us any menus or water. We ask for menus. She gives us 1 that we all end up sharing. It took another 20 minutes to finally get our drinks. My buddy ordered a vodka soda and ended up with this brown, septic tank looking substance. It was a vodka and coke… because you know, soda=coke in Burque. About an HOUR later we finally get our food… which is comparable to Taco Cabana or a buffet at a Quinceanera. It was mediocre. The best part of the cantina is the Johnny Tapia mural in the entrance. Everything else was pretty terrible. I know this place is new… but it didn’t seem like anyone knew what the hell they were doing. They have a chance to fix things, and possibly become a decent spot to watch Lobo games. Until they fix those problems… none of us will be returning.
