The Herb Store

Ah! This place is wonderful! For sure one of my favorite stores in all of New Mexico. Great selection of herbs and so many other amazing products. So much to look at! So much I wanted to buy! Grabbed some nettles (really fresh, organic), an excellently priced evil eye pendant, and some other treats. Very impressed and in love with the vibe here! Great customer service, very friendly. Wish I lived closer to get my herbs here all the time! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

I just landed in Abq from San Francisco and got a bad cold. Found this place on Unilocal and went for it.
They have extensive selection of herbs in forms of tea, tinctures and more.
Adorable read-​headed Tara immediately helped me with a few things. She was super informative and had a great energy! In less than 5 minutes I was out of the store with everything I need and a big smile because of Tara :-) I hope we’ll become friends.
Oh, she even told me that they ship their stuff :-)

I must repent for my somewhat scathing, sarcastic review from many months back. Where I singled out the hippies that are regulars here and the paradox of their seemingly low-​budget lifestyle and affinity for such an expensive shop, I’ve come around to seeing the light. That old adage, «You get what you pay for,» rings true here.
Products may be pricey, but you’re getting some great, healthy stuff that will make your life better. Products here are unadulterated, corporate-​free, and of the earth. What’s not to like?

Upon walking into The Herb Store, it’s a small space, but this place is packed with a myriad of not only useful products, but fun products as well.
Their focus is on providing herbs they’ve purchased from local wildcrafters along with, herbs from area farms, opting for organic as much as possible. They try to carry a wide variety of herbs one would need to make their own herbal remedies for medicinal or cooking, and they carry packaged herbal and natural products from several well-​known companies.
Along with their herb section, they have a solid selection of supplements and vitamins.
They also carry incense and candles, most of which are locally made, along with books, candy which is on the healthier side, organic shampoos, lotions, salves, pet-​care products and fair trade items, such as woven handbags.
If getting to the store is not convenient, The Herb Store offers customers the ability to shop and purchase products through their website.
Most of the staff has a vast knowledge of herbs, supplements and vitamins, and they do have experts in Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic and aromatherapy who are friendly and enjoy helping customers.

I enter the store and inhale deeply. Strong scents of herbs, soap and incense mingle to produce a clean, healing, aromatic elixir. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, prepared to take on a new disciple into the arcane world of the apothecary.
The Herb Store has been in Albuquerque almost as long as I have. I love to walk into the store when it’s busy. Even though it necessitates having to navigate the small space at closer contact with unfamiliar humans than I am generally comfortable, it reassures me that one of my favorite places in Nob Hill is here to stay.

Found this store using a Groupon and glad I did. It is small, filled with interesting items including just about any herb imaginable. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, energetic without being pushy.
