The Sassy Apron

I have been on the receiving end of several great meals that were catered at different events I have attended… all were fantastic. However, we had lunch boxes to go with some great friends this weekend, as we tailgated prior to the opening night of the Santa Fe Opera’s, Carmen. Every sandwich was awesome, various salads and dessert. I love the packaging, food and service! Thank you so much.

Delish, the restaurant side of the Sassy Apron.

Well they have finally outdone themselves. They opened a restaurant right next door called Delish. I ate there twice this past week and was blown away with each meal. If you haven’t tried this one yet you owe it to yourself to give it a go. You won’t be sorry.

Pretty awesome lunch sandwiches and tasty cookies. Nicely packaged and neatly presented at the office. I’m impressed. Been having their food catered for work for the past 3 months now and not a single time were my expectations not met. Way to go guys!

There is no shortage of fabulous things I can say about Rachel and her catering staff at The Sassy Apron! The service we received from this caterer extraordinaire went above and beyond anything we hoped to get on the happiest day of our lives. Truly, Rachel’s professionalism and willingness to design the menu just as we wanted made the planning of this major detail a breeze!
We were first attracted to The Sassy Apron by it’s unique menu options and the alluring list of appetizers. The most challenging thing about working with this caterer was trying to decide which, amongst the many appealing options, to order. We ended up going with the Pumpkin Soup shots with Cran-​Apple Salsa and the Bacon and Green-​Chili Wrapped Shrimp. OMG, amazing!
We then asked Rachel to help us out by cooking up something that wasn’t on her normal list of menu options. Not only was she up for the challenge, but she managed to elicit praises from our guests such as «Seriously, the best enchiladas I’ve ever had!» and «I can’t get those flavors out of my head!» The entire menu was a hit!
The staff that Rachel brought with her on the day of the event was extremely put together, all brandishing stylish aprons (a signature of The Sassy Apron), and swiftly and adeptly moving about the dinner tables in order to serve and clear dishes. Of course, much of this is to Rachel’s credit, as she had — without us asking — visited the venue several weeks prior to the wedding in order to introduce herself to the venue managers and to get a feel for the kitchen setup and the reception area. Nothing inspires confidence like proactive vendors who clearly want to make sure things go right on your big day!
Without hesitation, I would recommend The Sassy Apron to anyone considering them as their caterer. The Sassy Apron also specializes in home meal delivery and business catering. I’m only sad that I don’t live in New Mexico to be able to order from Rachel and her team on a regular basis!
