Walked around for 30 min no one greeted us every employee was talking amongst them selves even seemed as if they avoided eye contact. We just ended up going to Costco where we were treated like they wanted our business.

Customer service here is lacking extremely, upon first walking in there were several(literally like 9) employees just standing and talking among each other, I thought whatever I worked in retail before I understand, but the group got bigger within the fifteen minutes I was there. Anyways I was looking for the DVD planet earth, the guy I talked to in the movie section was so confused, he told me they don’t carry it and than went down one aisle pretending to look. Trying to special order a CD and I got told I can’t at the store by the girl in customer service, at the register I asked a simple question of calling and picking up the product when it gets released and was told I don’t know how that would work you should talk to store pick up. Seems like nobody likes their job, doesn’t care to learn, has no idea what’s going on around them, and most importantly they could care less about the customers. I very rarely come to best buy(once in 3years maybe), and this is why I avoid this store. I much rather prefer fye. However sometimes their special releases of items are better than other stores and that’s what drags me in

One of a few places to buy a Zenwatch. Wasn’t able to order online and pickup at the store but was able to easily buy at the store. Since I wasn’t using their product expertise I don’t know whether or not they were familiar with the product or not, but didn’t matter in this instance. These smart watches are hard to get so there was no discounting but I did earn some BB bucks.

Their service sucked. I took my laptop for issues opening websites and they actually made my damn computer slower! Now it takes for EVERTODOWNLOAD. should’ve never have gotten their stupid geek squad service. Never again. They are only good at removing viruses and that’s all. Very disappointed with their service. Plus all the employees are socially inept other than Joe or Jose was his name. He gets 5 stars. The others, not so much. The bad part is that i need my laptop for school

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have bought several items in this store along with warranties. Trying to get something fixed or placed under warranty at this place is unreal. I have started buying my electronic items online from a entirely different store. Best Buy should really evaluate their strategic plan sure great customer service should be a priority.

finally updated to smart phone during 5C deal… computers were down so took a while to get me going… not a bad experience but would have got more stars if I hadn’t had to wait so long…

So, that thing you have strapped to your body or your purse, that thing that you’re likely looking at right now, that so-called smart phone, are you happy with it? Do you like it? Are you happy with the company that designed it, and do you like the company that currently provides your«service»? My answer would be Yes and No. Love the phone, hate the provider. But what can I do? I need the best. That’s why I come to Best Buy. I come here often, actually, because it’s an electronics megastore and I’m basically wedded to electronics. The customer service is rather stellar, once they finally get around to servicing me. It’s all about luck-of-the-draw, here. If you happen to enter when the service reps are shooting the s*it, you’re the center of their attention. But if there’s an army of folks awaiting help, get ready to wait. Overall, I’ve been lucky enough to be one of the Firsts on my random visits, but I’ve watched people wait for service nigh-on an hour, too. Best bet for this Best Buy: scope the environs. If the department you’re shopping in is packed, save yourself some valuable time and come back later.

Best Buy has managed to keep a few employees in the audio department that have a lot of knowledge about the equipment they sell. In addition, Best Buy has consistently matched prices that I have found online which has saved me several hundred dollars. I have not had problems returning products even if I have lost my receipt. I’m dinging Best Buy due to the lack of Magnolia Series products. You can order the high end equipment from the store, but you have to pay for a $ 100 consultation. The consultation fee is refunded if you buy the Magnolia product. It all worked out for me in the end, but it seems like a hassle, especially if you just want to buy a speaker. If you give the employees a chance it is evident that some of them have a passion for home electronics and appliances.

It is really the only choice on this side of town for electronics. Baillos can’t come close to the prices. The problem is that the customer service is lacking. You have to pull teeth to get someone to help you and then they just can’t answer your questions. There is one guy here who gets it though… I think his name is Jason. He likes his job and can answer questions. I’m pretty sure that this is his hobby because his family owns a few restaurants in town and I get the feeling he doesn’t NEED to work. Good guy.

I have given this store several chances to change my mind, but every time I go in it is worse. There is absolutely never anyone that can help you, they never have items in stock that their website says are available in store. If you try to call to see if items are in stock, they put you on hold forever trying to track down someone who has a clue. I question how much longer Best Buy can keep these stores open. Save yourself the frustration and time and order online.

I think this store is total crap. Everything is overpriced, I’m constantly harassed by sales staff, and nobody has the competence I need to help me solve any issues I run into. They support anti-GLBT causes. They don’t price match / . Returns are a royal pain. The store is crowded. They don’t have the products I want. Parking is a nightmare and the parking lot isn’t sensibly designed. Simple returns take hours. Home audio/theater installation doesn’t do a good job and leaves a mess. Car stereo installation folks are incompetent and cannot remember to install a simple dimmer cable for safety. Yet another store that treats people like cattle staffed by incompetent morons. PLEASE shop elsewhere! Baillo’s is locally owned and has much better prices.

I recently wanted a really hard to find cell phone, and Best Buy online had one, so I bought it and had it shipped to me. When I received it, there was a miscommunication between myself and Sprint concerning activation. I decided to take it the nearest Best Buy and see if they could get the activation to go through. I spent nearly an hour there, listening the associate help me battle it out with Sprint Customer service for me. He got my phone activated for me after much time on the phone. He offered me a screen protector, and showed me how it worked on his personal phone. I payed $ 8 to have it installed. When it gets messed up, I can come back and have another reapplied for free for the life of the phone. He tried to give me all the discounts he could. I was really impressed with his professionalism, patience, and his great customer service skills. I left with a functioning phone and a bubble free screen protector. Great experience!

I’m supporting the boycott of Best Buy for it’s financial support of an anti-gay gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota. Bought a phone there two weeks ago and then read about the boycott and, today, returned the phone. Best Buy’s response to the criticisms has been ‘It’s purely a business decision(to support the candidate).” Well, so’s my decision not to patronize them! Oh, yeah… the service at the Santa Fe store is abysmal… Staff doesn’t seem to care about us customers very much… Unilocal’s guidelines for reviews suggests that reviews should focus on the consumer experience… Well, I don’t like the experience in Best Buy!

Wow, why is it so damn hard to give Best Buy money? I went there to buy a netbook and it took friggin’ forever. Why? Did you know you are FORCED to purchase computers through the Geek Squad registers? Ya, I didn’t either. So I wait and wait while TWO Geek Squad employees take care of SEVEN customers. Only three of the seven have actually Geek Squad related issues. The Geek Squad employee, when I finally got to her, was quite friendly and apologized for Best Buy policy. She was knowledgeable and very helpful and quick… not to mention she got the hint of on the first«no, I don’t need to spend an extra $ 200 so you can add junk to my netbook.» Five stars for the Best Buy employees, 1 star for the Best Buy corporate policies. So, 3 stars!

Went on super bowl sunday to buy a receiver(after beer was poured in my old one and smoke came out, but that’s another story). After 20 min of looking for someone to help me, I finally found what I was looking for. No pun intended. Bought said item but it wasn’t the best experience. 4 stars only because now I can listen to music again.
