I love this local fast food joint – the staff is always cheerful and great, the food is delicious. The chorizo burrito wasn’t that great but the Navajo taco was pretty good minus skimping on cheese and I don’t think the fry bread was freshly fried. The green chile is pretty unusual, I mean u just gotta see it. But it tastes good! Tons of options and supporters of local schools. What a great business!

Some days the food is better than others. Not sure what changes but I swear this place is up and down. If it were more consistent with its better offerings I would rate higher. Maybe I come to early in the morning. BTW I have only had breakfast from here. Overall I like the change of pace from the standard fare of breakfast sandwiches. The amount of options and variety keep me coming back. So far I haven’t had an issue with wrong orders. They for me anyway have been accurate on that potential mistake. Service has been good and friendly. Keep it up Twisters I will keep coming back and maybe just maybe we can do something about this score.

Every time I order from these people they can’t get it right. Simple request like no ketchup, no cheese or none of their nasty green chile. I asked for salt and pepper at the drive through window and they couldn’t even put that in the bag with my order. Come on people, just because you make minimum wage doesn’t mean you can constantly screw up. Management needs to step up and fix this problem. Even though I’m sure their not any smarter.

My love affair with Twisters is quickly fading. I considered it a drive thru burrito staple. However my last several visits have rendered poorly wrapped, greasy burrito bombs exploding and dripping nasty juice all over your clothes and car seat. This crap stains, and the chilie is just not worth it.

Went here for lunch 20 min for a burrito ?? What happened? On my lunch break from work and I spent the whole time here waiting. Normally like twisters but now I have to rethink my choices if they are now taking this long.

Twisters Wyoming — Albuquerque, NM — This is the Twister’s closest to my work, so it gets frequented pretty often. They’re super fast in the drive up(even if it looks a little overwhelming and backed up). You probably won’t ever wait more than 10 – 15 minutes tops! The number 8 is my favorite. It’s your standard eggs, potato, bacon, green chile, cheese and pinto beans wrapped up to go. I always tell them easy potato and no beans though and sometimes extra crispy bacon not to be a pain, but if you don’t they tend to go overboard on the potato, the beans kind of taste like dirt to me, and the bacon is fatty if you don’t get it crispy… so those are my tips for twisters! The carne adovada burrito is probably some of the best carne adovada around! That’s one of my favorites if I’m grabbing a late lunch/early dinner burrito. The south valley is another late day favorite, even though it’s considered a breakfast burrito, because it’s spicy chorizo and tastes better not for breakfast. This is just my «home» store for now while I work near here, but I have had them from Twister’s all over town and will eventually get around to reviewing all of them, but I have never had a problem with any Twister’s so these reviews will likely read the same. You really can’t go wrong with Twisters. They’re a great local company, with a hard working staff. I’ve never been disappointed, and I’ll go over and over again.

Twisters is so dang good. I love their carne adovada AND even more so(a recent discovery) is the Santa Fe breakfast burrito. Scrambled eggs, red chile, ground beef and onions with cheese(and then I add green chile and sour cream). Dude, this burrito is SOFREAKING good! I know it sounds weird, but do yourself a favor and try it! Hubby and I are huge fans of twisters. I’ve used them for catering before as well and the enchiladas are great as is the guac! Definitely stop by twisters for some very tasty New Mexican food.

They have a «vegetarian» burrito and it wasn’t until the 5th or 6th time that someone informed that the green chili and the rice had chicken in it, even though I asked about all of that the first time. I haven’t gone back since. Before that though, the food was great, but you really should not play with words like that.

I’ve had my issues with this place… but their Indian taco is one of my favorites… plus it’s one of the only New Mexican restaurants around here with a drive thru. Hence the 4 stars. It may be a bit generic when it comes to authentic New Mexican cuisine, but I like it. This location seems a bit slow as far as customer volume goes… which means they cook your food fresh. So waiting a few extra minutes is expected, and appreciated. And the drive thru guy is always friendly.

Traveling from California and we stopped for a bite. My fiancé hasn’t been for years but talked about a huge burrito. We got a whole with chicken and adovado with green chili. Real chili. I dont know what ive been eating in Cali. They talked to us while we were waiting and made us feel so welcomed like we were old friends. The manager stopped by after we ate and hoped that we would come back and even if we needed to freeze food they would so we can take it back with us. Great people. Even saw a guy grab a elderly man’s arm and help him walk back and sat him in his chair. Charming people that I am not use to in California.

I had my first New Mexican burrito here, and it seemed like everyone was very excited to come here. I ordered a chicken burrito. My burrito did not live up to the high expectations everyone had set for me sadly. Despite that, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Great service. Everyone was very friendly and upbeat. Employees seem like they were having a great time at work. Maybe that’s why my indian taco was so delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Flies! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for a quick burrito. There we so many flies we couldn’t stay. When we asked for our food to-go the teenage girl making our food shrieked/grumbled so loud! WTH?! We were the only people there. I got the impression that the management is pretty lax with the operations and then it made me worry about the food safety/quality. We won’t go back.

I wish I still lived in New Mexico so I could get this food more! I got the #4 Albuquerque with green chili and it was awesome! It was really busy at the drive thru when I went, but they moved us quickly. They also got our order correct and labeled the burritos. Highly recommend the food and this location.

The one thing this Twisters has going for it is the drive-thru. Not every Twisters has one, and if you’re in a hurry and want a breakfast burrito(for instance) in a flash, this place can help you out. Other than that, pretty standard stuff. They sell burritos, in a variety of combinations. They aren’t so bad, honestly, and they’re pretty decent hangover remedies.
