I called to get to go food at 5 today and the phone rang til I gave up at 5:17. Bad customer service. Yes, I had the right number.

Just stuffed our faces with an cams pulled pork burrito and zucchini plate smothered in red chile and cheese/garlic. The pulled pork is smoked with pecan wood from the Melilla valley and is one of the best smoked porks I’ve had(and I had some great pork in Austin Texas recently). It’s well balanced, not too smokey and not too light and also has the right amount of light fat. Next time I come in town I’m going to stop by again for sure.

Chicken burrito tastes bland with a hint of dirty sink water. Unimaginative, tasty slop at best… lots of potential, unfortunately misdirected energies, untalented amateurs serving nothing special.

Wasn’t expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised, great IPA and Irish Red. They will be rebranding to LicketySplitz Brewhouse, soon. Their food is pretty goodd, we had the street tacos, and everything is homemade like you made it at home. Fresh! We’re pushing 170 breweries in 19 states and this is a place we’d gladly come to again. Their beer is technical, flavorful and spot on, the owner and employees are AWESOME and made the overall experience 5 stars in my book. We rarely rate places we go, but this place made our week.

I like this place. I’d love to see more small joints brewing their own beer and serving up good food like this.

Ordered a smoked brisket for Christmas dinner. At Mick’s suggestion, he smoked it, left the juices in the pan and gave me cooking instructions. This was a good idea since we picked it up on Thursday and had it on Saturday. It came out fantastic!!! This was the most tender and flavorful brisket I’ve ever had. Not only will we do this again, but we will suggest it to our friends as well. AWESOME!

I drove by and saw a smoker on a truck hitch parked!!! I got excited and decided to try them out. I ordered the ribs but they were sold out at 5:30pm. So i just ordered a turkey leg. ill be back to try their selection of beers.

what a hugh dissapointment!!! I called to make a take-out order today 06/02/2015. my husband Russ went to pick up the order and when he got home he brought only a partial order. I called right away to let the owner know that he had left off the lettuce and cheese. He said he did not have lettuce, but if I would bring these right back he would get me a correct order. I told him my husband would not go back but I could take a picture if he was saying I was lying. What I would rather do is get a «correct meal for free» next time. He(the son I believe) said it is their policy that they must have the food back??? I asked who would pay for my time and gas? he said he had no answer… I won’t be going back. Be careful you get what you order!!! Also be careful of your bill. I got two Beef stuffed Sopaipillas listed on the menu at $ 6.99ea which equals $ 13.98 for two x 7% for sales tax $.97 = $ 14.95 and my husband gave a $ 3.00 tip =$ 16.98 My receipt is for $ 23.31 What is the other $ 6.33 for???

The atmosphere is so awkward! It’s really to bad because I like the beer and the food but they really need to change the interior.

Finally ate there, the bbq sangwich was awesome, I had the Enchilada con Huevos with Green, perfect and the bbq sauces are really good. Very friendly and good prices. Just one knock on the place, the tile behind grille station was dirty. I’ll be back though, that pulled pork was so good.

A small family owned burrito, etc restaurant which includes a micro brewery in the true sense! Only two brews were available as the IPA was sold out. Being the hop head that I am, this was disappointing. My stuffed Sopapilla was generous and good with a nice green chile kick. I had the Nitro Milk Stout which was very nice. They are now serving smoked meats and occasional smoked fish and shrimp. Very nice owners, worth a visit.

Bottom Line First: GREAT stout & really good NM food at very reasonable price! Finally got to try Sandia Chile Grill(SCG) Nitro Milk Stout. It was GREAT!!! The extraordinary smoothness of this stout blows Guiness out of the water! It has the heavily roasted lingering aftertaste along the back edges of your tongue expected of a good porter or stout, but didn’t have the very sharp bitter attack at the front end that many stouts seem to deem necessary. The Nitro Milk Stout sipped very smooth with a wonderfully rich, creamy texture and a flavor that bloomed out very very smoothly. The hearty body was evidenced by the substantial lace left on the sides of the glass after sipping. Absolutely wonderful stout! My meal was a relleno burrito with beans, eggs, and green chile in it, as well as cheese. The serving size was generous. They use a 12″ tortilla to make it, so there’s plenty of real estate for fillings. It’s nice they use whole pinto beans, not mashed. The extra texture and body helps keep the burrito sturdy. There were enough scrambled eggs in the burrito that they didn’t get lost in there or feel like an insignificant afterthought. The relleno made its presence known without overwhelming the other fillings. The chopped green chile sauce was enough to flavor the filling without making the filling too wet or soupy. As Goldilocks said, «This one is J-U-S-T right!!» So if you haven’t yet tried Sandia Chile Grill in Del Norte Center, north of Wyoming & Academy(near Cherry Hills Library), stop in and check out the best stout in town & very good NM cuisine at just crazy reasonable prices. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Sorry to say, but I just had the *worst* breakfast burrito I’ve ever had in my entire life. How can you screw up a burrito that has eggs, potatoes, cheese and red chile in it? The extremely bland burrito had a bizarre and foul, bitter aftertaste. What in the hell could/would possibly produce such a taste? Spoiled chile? My few prior experiences here were meh, but this was just disgusting. Also, woman at the counter was just plain rude. Never. Again.

I now LOVE this place. I decided to try again and eat at the restaurant. The owners(father and son) are so nice and friendly, they make it very comfortable. I got the Tasmanian tiger again, and it is PERFECT! I got green chile inside and smothered with red. The green chile is fresh and chopped, the red simple, homemade and delicious! The beans are whole and fresh. My burrito is so big they used two tortillas to wrap it. If I wasn’t busy tonight I would come back for dinner and a beer, plus the son is HOT! Good looking and a great cook, what more could I ask for? The place is a bit hard to find, but right next to a gym, worth looking for.

Sandia Chile Grill is a perfect hole in the wall spot that would never expect to see in the NE Heights. This place offers some tasty huge burritos that are cooked up in front of you and they also pack some heat with there spicy green chile. The place is ran by a father/son duo and each one of them are friendly. Sandia Chile Grill also serves up some killer beer as well which is also brewed by them. If you are in the area this place is worth checking out!

Well let’s start with the service, it was AWESOME! The owner and son were both there, and super friendly. They made sure the order was right(had a special order) had a huge smile on and were just plain fun to be around! I couldn’t speak more highly of their customer service! The food which is the most important part to me! I ordered the big asada, and it wasn’t bad it wasn’t good just kind of average. The meat was well cooked as well as the bacon and potatoes, but the burrito was screaming for some more seasoning. Like I said everything was cooked very well just didn’t have much pop like I expected. The place was TINY, but I like that in a restaurant! If you plan on taking a huge party you might want to think about getting it to go as this place probably seats 25 people or so. That being said it was very clean but could use some more light in the place was kind of dark and gloomy. All in all this place wasn’t great wasn’t bad and I will probably give it another shot. Maybe with the stuffed sopa’s next time!

Much smaller than I was anticipating. Barely enough tables to sit down! I ordered the steak and chicken burrito with ham, bacon and green chile. Holy crap the chiles were hot today! Hot chile, cold beer, what more could you ask for. The Nitro Milk Stout cooled the heat of the chiles and everything was good. Too bad this place is in a strip mall, otherwise, if you like dives, beer and burritos, this is the place.

There are three owners «The dad/cook», very friendly. «The son/brewer», talented and«the really mean lady», just mean The food was great. Better than I expected. The mean lady was just over the top, mean. She yelled at me when I ordered a beer that wasn’t one of the two they had on hand. Then the son corrected her. So she yelled at me for nothing. She was pretty impatient. She was nicer, when we were walking out. I’d try it again because of the food and beer.. And this time I’ll be prepared to be yelled at.

Caught a workout at Del Norte Sports & Wellness and I was craving some chile so my buddy and I stopped in here for a late lunch. I was greeted by a nice fellow(I believe the owner and also by his son). I didn’t realize it but they also serve their own craft beer(bonus!). On this day I ask what they would recommend for lunch and it was the beef stuffed sopapilla with green chile. The kitchen is open to view and my lunch was prepared fresh as we watched. I found the dish to be quite tasty I’d drop in again for sure. I ask what beer they were most proud of and was served the Irish red, I’ll say it’s pretty tasty too, give it a try if you’re in.
