Gas stations with restaurants. Who knew such places could have good food? There is an extensive selection of interesting burgers. Mine had bacon jam, and it was incredible! A buttery bun, with flavorful patty. The fries are pretty good, too. The portions are generous. I’ve been to many of the great burger joints in DFW(Rodeo Goat, Dutch’s, Big Burger, etc.), and I’d take this burger over just about any others. Sodas are available from the fountain in the gas station side of the building. Closed on Sundays. It’s not going to win awards for atmosphere. After all, it’s in a gas station. But, if you want a really tasty burger, IDC is worth a visit.

Not sure what I’m expected from a gas station establishment but this exactly what I’m going. Called ahead and was told that they had beer for free if asked. The burger was not homemade but a pre-made patty. The tacos were mediocre at best with very little meat to go with the wilted lettuce. This say the least… we won’t be back… the place needs a serious facelift.

My husband and I are kind of burger connoisseurs. Everywhere we go, we have to try new places to get a good one. He’s a native Texan and he teases me because I always like to «yankee-fy» everything and get unusual combinations and stuff you wouldn’t normally see. (One of my favorite places was Kuma’s in Chicago, before it blew up and you had to wait 90 minutes to eat). My husband on the other hand is a very«basic» eater. When I took him to Kuma’s, he got a plain burger with lettuce tomato and mustard. If you know Kuma’s, you know what this is: Blasphemy!!! So we just moved to Aledo and stopped at a gas station and lo and behold, there’s a burger restaurant in it. And it has a few interesting burgers on the menu! We couldn’t decide which to get, so we got the Sweet Heat and the Guacamole(with raspberry chipotle sauce) and split them. They were cooked fresh for us. HOOOOOOLYCOW. Both freaking phenomenal. It was hard to decide which was better. Sweet Heat has jalapeño peach jam(!!!) made from Parker County peaches. I was in burger heaven. It’s not too sweet and yet you really taste the jalapeño/peach flavor. The Guacamole has raspberry chipotle sauce. I LOVE chipotle flavor, so that was a home run too. But I really think Sweet Heat was my favorite. Just ridiculous. The best burger I have ever eaten, ever. And what are those buns!!! UNREAL. You must try it. It’s worth the short drive into Aledo from I-20. (minor complaint — a little –too– greasy, just saying. but it was SOGOOD that I don’t even care.) I am thanking my lucky stars that we live in this town and I can have this burger whenever I want. There are a lot of other really unique things on the menu that I can’t wait to try also.

Came in today to give this place a try, and the burgers were delicious! We got fast, courteous, and prompt service. The burgers came out very quickly also. If you are in Aledo, I recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious burger.

I believe the previous reviews to be somewhat inflated, which triggers my over correction phase. I ordered the normal burger and fries, I like to call it the #1, no matter where I eat. I barely choked down the over seasoned, gross and greasy burger. Just terrible.

By far the best cheeseburger i have ever ate. I have traveled all over the country and i always Unilocal and write reviews when it comes to my food. This place was by far one of the most amazing whole in the wall burger joints i have ever been too. Its located inside a gas station in the town of aledo. Everything was fresh and hot off the grill and there mac and cheese is bomb! I will definitely be stopping in to try a different one each time im in town because theres so many options on their menu!!! Thanks IDC!!!
