Liz Luke and her team are beyond outstanding. They got us an excellent deal on a fantastic house in the exact neighborhood we wanted. Elizabeth was sweet and lovely to us, but also a tough negotiator which helped during a heated contingency battle. We absolutely would recommend Liz, and we believe her and her team to be the best available in Northern VA, DC and Maryland. We will likely use her in any future local real estate purchases. Month 2 of my new home that Elizabeth Lucchesi and her team helped me find and purchase. I had been working with Elizabeth since last July looking at homes in the Alexandria area. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and listened to what worked for me and my family. She screened several homes which saved me from walking through and wasting time and energy. She also narrowed down to several, great choices and I picked a wonderful home on Dec. 3 and closed Dec. 29^th. Incredible timeline and Elizabeth made sure that we hit all our marks and the closing went really smoothly – much to her hard work. She’s a great realtor and is a great listener. I highly recommend her and her team (Holli is great too!)

Elizabeth is a very friendly person, but I had a terrible experience with her and her team while selling our house.
1) Lots of promises and no follow through — regularly heard «someone from my team will stop by at X time» or «No problem, I will get that done.» No one ever stopped by and items were regularly not done
2) No follow-​up from people/​agents who visited our house — several agents came by our house multiple times — Elizabeth and her team never followed up with these agents to seek an offer or understand why there was no offer (follow-​up is basic tenet of real estate sales)
3) Documents were always wrong — every document contained at least one major error, one sales document she prepared listed the wrong address. Another example: MLS listing said our townhouse was 1 bathroom (there were 2.5) and was .25 acres (it was a townhouse with no acreage).
SUMMARY: If you like to be let down or overpay for terrible service, go with the Liz Luke team. If you are normal and rational, like most of Alexandria, Arlington or Fairfax use someone else.

Elizabeth and the LizLuke team and I share many clients in our Local area. I’m a real unpaid Unilocal reviewer who works for an international development organization. I recently reached out to «LizLuke» and her team for design /​general contractor advice for a selling opportunity in the Alexandria Del Ray neighborhood for which «LizLuke» represents from McEnearney Associates. We originally purchased the property from another McEnearney Associates agent, whom we found somewhat difficult to work with. Nevertheless, we assumed the local brokerage firm must have other professional sales agents to work with. We were woefully wrong.
LizLuke’s team recommended and scheduled an appointment for her to come by our property for an assessment, to which she never showed, bothered to call to cancel, or even respond to voicemail. And this is after same day confirmation.
Sorry team LizLuke. This is not the level of professionalism that any property owning seller would expect to shell out 7% commission for. Alexandria deserves better, and potential sellers deserve better.
Now that we know the caliber of McEnearney Associates agents’, it’s safe to say, we’ll be glad to take our business to a brokerage with better service and integrity rather than fall back on the mediocre neighborhood option.
Closer does not equate better.

Elizabeth and her team go far behond what you would expect from a realitor. If you are selling she will make sure that your house looks great and is ready for for any buyer, If your buying she will go the extra mile to make sure that you get the right house for you and your family.

I had a great experience with the LizLuke team. I bought a house and sold my condo through them. Jillian, the buyers agent on the team was fantastic, detail oriented, and always available. I never felt any pressure from her, just helpful advice and a very cheerful attitude. Elizabeth, who heads the group, did a great job listing and marketing my condo and getting an offer within ten days. And, she provided great counsel in withdrawing from a contract on an earlier house when the home inspection revealed serious problems. Agents with less integrity may have cared more about getting the sale than the client’s best interests. And, Jennifer and Holli on the support side were also very competent and a pleasure to work with. They know the Alexandria market and work hard for the client. I highly recommend them.
