Happy 44th anniversary, RT! Thanks for sending me your 44% off coupon! I had a great lunch on you(almost). The heat for my burger was spot on. Keep it up! You could improve your customer service a little… will help if you had some friendly folks working here.

Sat in the bar. Beer is cold and low cost. Took a risk and had the Tilapia. It was good! Vegis were well prepared and I really enjoyed the brown rice. Wasn’t expecting much but it was good dinner at a great price. Add the salad bar for a low cost.

I frequent this Ruby Tuesday as it is right beside the Hoffman movie theatre, and enjoy grabbing a bite at RT before the shows. I have had very pleasant experiences there, especially with a particular waiter named Diego Zecheriah. He is most professional and very attentive. In fact, my friends and I request him every time we visit. Diego cares about serving his customers to the best of his ability, and makes sure that orders are filled correctly. He is always pleasant and cordial.

Horrendous service. We waited to be seated when there was a total of 4 tables busy. While we were waiting on food other tables got tired of waiting as well– one lady left after it took 20 minutes to get a drink, two other couples got up and used the bar to pay their bill, and it took us 15 minutes for someone to come by our table to get a drink order. It was like no one worked there. Awful.

I am not impressed with Ruby Tuesday at all. I’ve gone before, but it was a long time ago. I never could remember why I stopped going, that was until I went there a few days ago. Lets just jump right into it. The food at Ruby Tuesday is just plain nasty and I will not be going there again. The food actually taste like food you would get from the grocery store and throw into the oven. From the chicken egg rolls, to the cheese sticks, to the buffalo wing, all of it was just nasty. My girl didn’t even like their food, and that says a lot, because she loves to eat. Anyway, that’s just me/us, we will not be going back there again. Everyone’s taste buds are different though. So enjoy and peace out!

We actually love the food at Ruby. But this time I won’t get to write about it because we never got to eat! The«hostess» bearly opened her mouth when we entered the restaurant and after we got seated nothing else happened. Nobody came to our table after we sat there more than 15 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all! We got up with the kids, and left. Nobody even noticed that! Unbelievable. The only reason I put up one star because that was the only way the app allowed me start typing my review. They don’t even deserve that.

Everyone likes to hate on RT’s everywhere it seems. I have actually been to this location several times when visiting the Alexandria/DC area, and it has been ok. On par with other RT’s I have been to anyway. On the most recent visit I sat at the bar and ordered their app tri which was chicken wings, tenders, egg rolls and fried mozz.(Not health food, but it tasted good!) I personally didn’t have bad service that others mention. It might depend on how busy they are, and when I have been there, they haven’t been very busy.

After seeing most of the reviews, I thought this place was pretty bad, but after visiting due to last minute plans, it wasn’t so bad to what I expected. I was attended accordingly, got my drinks and appetizers quick and they were good,(I ordered the shrimp fondue) AMAZING ! Then I ordered the petite sirloin and lobster tail, everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection ! The only reason I’m giving a 3 star review is because parking there sucks !

After years of being a Ruby Tuesday coupon lover, my years of support dwindled when I moved to DC and starting patronizing their 2 dismal locations in Columbia Heights and Chinatown. Luckily those locations closed down and I was out of RTs. On my way to the AMC I noticed Ruby Tuesday and was in total awe. I had 2 hours to kill before my show started and thought what better than a bite to eat. There is a strip mall right across the street with bistros/cafes and another restaurant right next door. I opened Unilocal saw the bad reviews and weighed my options… I entered. When I entered I was greeted by the server promptly, seated, and greeted by my server as well. My server was an absolute delight! She reminds me of what old school service is like! In my years of absence RT has introduced mini cheddar bay biscuits like Red Lobster. They were warm, petite, and cheesy. Nice touch My appetizer, and entrée arrived in less than 5 minutes of each other which was kind of a nuisance, but can’t complain about speed of service. I didn’t and never visit the salad bar, but from what I saw everything was fully stocked and veggies looked fresh. There are tvs so you can watch the game(s) and of course it’s deeply dim lit.

Stopped by for a quick bite before a movie, ordering was quite difficult(was late to my movie after allotting 1.5 hours for an appetizer and a drink) and the level of service, paired with the food quality probably made this RT location the worst I’ve visited so far. Will not return willingly.

After seeing the reviews for this place I was a little scared to visit, but it wasn’t quite as bad as I was expecting based on the 1.5-star average. With the caveat that we visited relatively early in the day right before the lunch rush, Ruby Tuesday was alright. I went with the Barbecue Chicken Flatbread and salad bar, and my girlfriend got the Portabella Crispy Onion Pretzel Cheeseburger. I wasn’t really a fan of the cheeseburger. The burger was too greasy, the pretzel bun was slightly underwhelming, and the fries were just okay. The flatbread was decent — nice and crispy and with a good amount of toppings. The salad bar had a decent selection of vegetables, toppings, and dressings. A lot of reviewers seemed to have complaints about the salad bar and I’m not sure if they’re changed things up recently or if it was just because we visited early, but I thought it was fairly good. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and the service was fine. Our waitress kept our waters filled and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, the hit or miss food keeps Ruby Tuesday in the 2 – 3 star range for me, though their happy hour specials do seem to be fairly good.

Avoid this ghetto Ruby Tuesday! Bad food, bad drinks, bad service and bad management. The waitress was hard to find when she wasn’t rushing us because her shift was ending soon. Waitress didn’t bring us what we ordered. The waitress brought us the check amount without bringing an itemized bill. .. which eventually showed they were trying to overcharge us. The waitress and the rude manager couldn’t figure out how to take things off the bill that we didn’t order; they also couldn’t figure out how to enter the reduced happy hour prices for the happy hour items we ordered. This is not the normally standard quality Ruby Tuesday you are expecting.

The food and salad bar aren’t bad but get it for take out here. There’s a lack of attentiveness in the dining room and it smells like dirty dish water. They offer a free entrée on Veteran’s Day, so good on them.

If you somehow make it to the door do yourself a favor and turn around and go anywhere or just punch yourself in the stomach cause that’s what you’ll feel like doing if you eat there. Can’t believe people eat from that salad bar

Tiera!!! The bartender whom was also my server was outstanding !!! I never once felt like I had to look for her. I started with a club soda and salad and the minute I was done with my salad, my main course was right behind! I normally don’t do Ruby Tuesdays but I’m glad I did today!!! Ever looking for a place to grab a bite, this is the spot!!!

«Was this the place that launched a thousand complaints. And burnt the topless towers of customer satisfaction» Ok, so maybe it is not that bad, but I have been popping in and out of this spot ever since the adjacent movie theater opened years ago and not much has changed. The service is average and the salad bar looks a little shady. I really hate its location in the restaurant; you walk right past it on your way to the bar. Yes, I understand that whenever someone approaches the salad bar they are in effect walking past the salad bar, but for me, there is still something unsettling about having someone come right off the street and walk past the open salad bar. And of course, there is the lighting in the restaurant.ugh. It is too bright and it kind of reminds me of when they turn up the house lights at the end of a play, a clear signal that the show is over and it is time to go. This poor lighting is complimented by the fact that the vibe here is just sketchy. This last observation is really hard to put your finger on anyone cause, for it is combination of a possible a lack of professionalism on management and staff to conversation and demeanor of some of the bar’s regulars. It just doesn’t have the feel of any place that I would hangout. However, if you have a few minutes to kill before a movie this still beats standing around in line for a movie, but not by much.

This restaurant has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. No server came to assist us. We were completely ignored by the server. Instead of assisting us, the server was on her cell phone and chatting with the customers at the the bar. I had to physically get up out my seat to get her attention. The manger Erin Christopher was also not managing her people at all and instead spending her time socializing with one of the host. I actually went to her directly as I was exiting to identify who the manager was and was in dismay it was her. She was using her phone in front of customers too. This franchise needs a better management and I’ll never come back again. Horrible!

The food is always mediocre but convenient location. Service is always lacking but convenient. Today took the cake. I was scalded by a waitress spilling a cup of hot water on my shoulder and lap by mistake. The manager came out and blamed me, Mathis pissed me off I refused to pay for the bad meal. I will never go back!

My boyfriend and I went here after a movie two weeks ago. We walked in and were ignored for a few minutes, which is bizarre considering the restaurant was pretty much empty and the hostesses were standing around. We were finally sat and we ordered our food. The waiter was very nice, but seemed to be distracted. We sat right by the kitchen door and watched as staff came in and out joking and laughing. This made us incredibly frustrated since it took about 50 minutes to get our food. When it finally came out, the salmon my boyfriend ordered was as small as half a piece of bacon. The waiter told us that there was an issue in the kitchen and the second half of his salmon was coming. We waited a while, I finished all of my food, and still no other piece of salmon. That was when we called the manager over. I have never met anyone in the service industry so rude. My boyfriend calmly explained what was going on and for whatever reason, the manager made us feel like it was our fault. He didn’t even want to get the other piece of salmon he was promised. He eventually got the other piece, and he agreed to give us a 10% discount for the inconvenience(at this point we were in the empty restaurant for an hour and a half). We reached out to Ruby Tuesdays on Twitter, and after two attempts the store manager reached out and gave us $ 20 to come back and try again. We went back last night and we still ended up waiting a long time. The waiter was very nice, but the service in general is just awful. We saw the same manager there and tried to get his attention to honor our $ 20 off coupon, but he walked by us several times and ignored us. The food was ok, but not worth the wait or the rudeness. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Not a fan of Ruby’s but this location was the absolute worst. If they weren’t close to movies they’d be out if business for real! Food was subpar. Service was good — the only reason for the one star. Note to management: please, please replace the carpet and/or upholstery– you can actually smell it!

2 stars for the food 4 stars for the service Here’s why… We ordered the app sampler which isn’t worth 13 bucks! They definitely need to change the oil because everything that was fried was a strange color. The Rubi Minis were tasty but the fries were bland. Coffee was cold and tasted like its been sitting there for days. Microwave fixes all I guess. Servers and hosts did the best they could. Place was packed and it was obvious they were under staffed.

They improve from the last I was here seafood was good side dish very good try them again hop it work for you and I will break down there review for you. ***RESTAURANT. Nice place to eat with updated panting, table and sport bar, salad bar. If you don’t what to spend a lot of money and fill up on salad it good fore you. Free dink refills. ***FOOD. The appetiser is ok you need to find what best to pick from. Pot sicker is just a little under cook. «Because we was rushing to a movie.» Crab cheese deep was good but the crips was stock to getter and made some of them under cook. Steak was so so. But had better steaks. Mash potato teats like it came from a bag pre made. Like coke drink Pibb soda. ***SEAFOOD. NOTWORTHTHEMONEY. GOREDLOBSTER. ***DESERTS. Some of there deserts is quit good. But one time we when lat at night one hour before closing after owner dinner we order we what’d deserts. We order the Double Chocolate Cake with melted heart of chocolate and served with scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was close to closeting time and the waitress assume we wanted to go. We looked at each other and said no. We called before we when back and they change a lot and gotten a lot of new staffs. I think about going back. But not a full meal. Check more or my reviews. LOCATION. This location is great AMC Theatre with Real D3j an over 22 screens, Starbucks, Ted’s, Galae Thai, San Antonio Bar & Grill and Cold Stone Ice Cream. Metro Bus and Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station( or )

Ruby Tuesday’s is becoming more and more of a pointless establishment. The food is just okay. The theme… is there really one? Classic American fare? I mean… I guess… And the whole salad bar thing is old and played out. The thought of my lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers sitting out all day like a smörgåsbord for ants just doesn’t really appeal to me. Or anyone else apparently because there’s hardly ever anyone here. I’m not even sure why we ventured in here that day. Ohhhhh that’s right! Cheap drinks before our movie… Well I guess I found it’s point. But trust me, there are few others. Service-wise, the experience was okay. Nothing to write home about. Nothing to complain about per se. It’s just one of those things that sucks when you KNOW what great restaurant service looks like. First, it started off with our waitress giving me a ginger ale with no fizz – a ginger ale that took her a good 20 minutes to bring out in the first place because she was waiting to bring it out with my mom’s Mai Tai. Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had a waitress wait to bring out sodas/waters with the alcoholic beverages. EVERYONE knows alcohol takes longer. Right? Apparently not. Okay so maybe that’s the kind of thing you do when you’re really busy but there were like 5 people total in that establishment… I mean seriously guys. I didn’t know you could even mess up ginger ale! Ruby Tuesdays probably just needs a complete Restaurant Impossible style overhaul because I think they already tried reinventing themselves once. Smh. Goodluck with that.

Chalk it up to the fact that I should have read the Unilocal reviews before thinking that this awesome neighborhood of Carlyle would have a decent Ruby Tuesday’s too. Not so. Sat at the bar with my boyfriend, on his birthday, and it became humorous/sad to count down the minutes(at least 15) that we were ignored. No acknowledgment. Others(ahem, cute men) being served before us. There were two bartenders, at a bar that seats probably twelve. I noticed others with empty drinks trying to make eye contact. These young women did everything to avoid interacting, seeming to be busy with frivolous things except customer service. Talking with each other. Watching TV and commenting about a Facebook crime. Once, one pointed to us but nothing happened. It was quite shocking! We finally walked out.

As a former Ruby Tuesdays trainer, server and smiling people greeter, my experience at the Hoffman Ruby Tuesdays saddens/maddens me. The boy and I had went to the movies to see Django only to find that all of the movies for the night were sold out. Not wanting to waste our night out, we decided to stop by the good old RT’s for a Ruby Relaxer. We went up to the host stand when he told us that we could seat ourselves at any table in the bar area. We found a table, sat down and waited for a server. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. We were right by the entrance to the kitchen so about ten different servers walked by our table paying no attention to us at all. After being ignored for a good fifteen minutes, we walk up to the bar and try to order from there. The bartender took one look at us and with all the attitude in the world told us that we should not have seated ourselves, since that table was not part of the bar area and that we should go back to the host and try again. First of all, if this area was not part of the bar then why was it sectioned off in the bar area? As I mentioned before, I am VERY familiar with the layout of RT and this area was clearly part of the bar… with a wall sectioning it off from the rest of the restaurant. Second of all, this attitude would have NEVER stood at the restaurant I worked at or any other restaurant that I usually patronize. Whatever happened, to an I’m so sorry, I’ll go and find a server for you? The bartender’s attitude caused our table to leave and patronize another restaurant in the area. I hate giving bad reviews but this place is TOTALLY deserving of their one star rating on Unilocal.I hope they close this place down and turn it into a Pizzeria Uno’s or something. Corporate get some trainers in here and get this place in order!
