I just read that this place is closed for some reason. I hope they’re fixing their recipes. My wife and I got pizza here once, pick up, and it was fine. The problem is the next two times we tried their calzones. I love calzones, but these were packed with cheap frozen like cheese pieces. It wasn’t shredded cheese, it wasn’t quite chunks. They were like cheese cubes, but small, like 1/3″ each. The thing is, both times we ordered the calzones, they weren’t ready when we came to pick up, which isn’t a problem, but even after taking the extra time, when we got home(2.5 miles away, ~10 minute drive), and cut into the calzones, the cheese cubes were just like maybe room temperature… some had a refrigerated temp to them. Was this a problem with the oven? Was it a problem with using some sort of cheap cheese substitute? I have no idea, but it didn’t taste awesome and weirded me out a little to eat the cheese. We gave them a second try and asked them to run it through the oven a little longer«bc we like the outside crispy» and had the same issue. I won’t be going back unless I hear something’s changed for the better.

I was sad to see them off the list and hope the closing is truly temporary. They have great pizza and wings.

Pizza was extremely bland… I think I would have enjoyed the box more. Only pro is that it’s cheap.

One of my go to pizza places for delivery. The only catch is to make sure you own a pizza cutter because sometimes they just don’t my get around to cutting it.

I wanted to like this place, since I was looking for pizza delivery options in my new neighborhood. I ordered a gyro wrap and a margherita pizza. First of all, delivery took a little over an hour, which is not ok for a place that’s about a half mile away. The food was not hot. Second, the description of the gyro wrap said it came with fries — no fries were included. And the wrap itself seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The pizza was good, but only after I picked off a pile of basil(seriously — there was more basil than cheese) and reheated it. Not impressed.

Really good pizza coming from a Brooklyn NY chick that loves her pizza. I was impressed it was very yummy, I was not crazy about their Greek salad it needed some black olives and red onions. I would just stick with the pizza it was very good and so was the crust!!!

I love this place!!! I kept walking by and finally convinced my roommate to come grab pizza here instead of the usual big chains. It was beyond amazing! So good, that now we have a tradition of grabbing two pies every Friday. The ingredients are fresh and they offer a better selection of toppings than what you’ll find at the other joints(e.g. prosciutto, kalamata olives, roasted eggplant, beef pepperoni for my pork averse friends). The service is always friendly and I have yet to try a slice of anything that was less than divine!!! from Sicilian Pizza. It’s small, so not really a place to go dine in, but definitely worth it for carry-out. They have a 2-topping large pizza for $ 9.99 carry-out special that is to die for. Better ingredients, pizza, and prices!

This pizza was good for its price. I’ll probably buy again when I need cheap pizza.

Their pizza is hands down the best around Alexandria… and the buffalo wings are pretty irresistible. If you are hungry then do not hesitate! We’ve been ordering from here for about a year… after a long hunt for the best(and affordable) pizza around Alexandria, Sicilian Pizza won out.

Unfortunately my Greek salad was slimy on the bottom and my chicken tenders were VERY dry and I could not identify whatever was used to bread my mozzarella sticks. If I could give a negative one I would. Yuck!

So I don’t know what everybody is complaining about. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance since the only other pizza place i visited in Alexandria taste like crap. I called ahead and ordered the special they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there early and the gentleman seemed almost apologetic I’m sorry you’re gonna have to wait another two minutes(bare in mind I was early) I don’t see why he had to apologize, lol. The pizza was still cooking and I was early I understand that. Overall most of the reviews I read are correct the place is very small and dining in probably isn’t an option that I would choose. But you could tell the delivery drivers were waiting for orders to be taken. Over all they were very polite very nice and handed me my pizza and thanked me for coming in, offered me a take-out menu, and said they hope they see me again. When I got home which wasn’t a very far drive, the pizza was still warm I opened up the box and it looked pretty good and it tasted even better. The sauce had a little bit of bite to it which I enjoyed. The cheese was great tasting in the crust was not soggy or damp it was Almost perfect. The toppings are really good there was pepperoni sausage onions really lots of flavor in this pizza. I will definitely be back here for some takeout. I’m not sure that I would do the delivery judging by the other reviews and bad experiences that they have had with the delivery drivers. The one thing I fail to understand is(I’m from up north) when you order a large pizza usually it almost doesn’t fit in the car but every time I’ve ordered a large pizza in Virginia they generally tend to be on the small side, I wonder if it’s just me or if it’s a regional thing. AnyWho if you live close by I would definitely stop and grab a pizza and take it home with you but I’m not sure about delivery. Update 7÷21÷15 I was home working and didn’t feel like driving out to the pizza place to grab takeout. So I ordered delivery and was hoping for the best. The pizza came it was super hot and delicious same quality as take out. I’ll try and post a picture of what it looked like when I got it.

Can I give zero stars? Was without a doubt the worst service and most mediocre pizza I have ever had. The nurse was on the phone was unable to take my order and had to handed off to someone else. An hour later when the pizza arrived, it was wrong.

Great dolmas, great Greek salad with chicken. Delivery to crowne plaza was pretty quick, and using foodler to order was a snap. The salad came with what I assume was pizza crust bread… Pretty delish! Only complaint is that the delivery came without a fork, so I had to get creative eating the salad.

good pizza and you get a lot for your money. They called shortly after I placed my order to apologize for having run out of tiramisu, he asked if there way anything we could substitute for, they gave me an extra cheesecake

This is one of those GrubHub delivery places that you will either love or just not like the seasoning or taste of the food. I disliked the seasoning so much that I was thankful they were painting in the hotel room next door! The mozzarella sticks were soggy and the manicotti had seasoning that just made my tummy not like me! The pasta itself was not overcooked which is a big plus as most delivery places overcook their pasta as they reheat it over and over again. The best item on their menu is actually the oreo cheesecake.

Ordered delivery from here last night. Expected delivery time was 50 minutes. We called once to check on our order status after an hour of waiting and were told«we are backed up tonight and our driver just left with your food. Should be arriving in a few minutes.» The man on the phone was apologetic & sounded sincere. I believed him that our food was just a few minutes away and we decided not to cancel & order from another restaurant. One full hour later, our delivery guy shows up with no apology. 2 hours total waiting for 3 items: chicken parmesan, a gyro wrap and pizza sticks. The chicken parm was terrible… average pasta & two, what looked like, frozen chicken patties that had been microwaved and thrown in marinara sauce. The gyro was just«blah» and the pizza sticks were like something you find on the frozen food aisle. Quite possibly the saddest $ 30 meal we’ve had in quite some time. Even worse was that we waited two hours for it to be delivered. There are better pizza joints in the area… maybe skip this one if you’re in the mood for anything Italian.

I don’t know what they put in their eggplants, but it is amazing! I ordered a large 2 topping pizza for my friend and I. We decided with eggplants(I don’t even like them) and caramelized onions and it would probably the best decision I made that way. We only planned on eating 2 slices but we finished the whole pan. They were so generous with their sauces too. They didn’t charge extra for our ranch and garlic butter(housemade)!

I walked over here since I was getting my car serviced. This is really a take out only place but they have a couple of small tables if you really need to eat there as I did. The pizza is nothing special and is greasier than most. It reminded me of one of those bland frozen pizzas you buy at the store. Staff was friendly but don’t think I’d come back here for pizza.
