I really like this store! They have a decent selection of Irish-related merchandise! I wish they had a little more! The owner is very nice, and seems to want to get to know all of her repeat customers! I would definitely recommend updating the website more, and maybe getting more Tara’s Diary charms! Other than that, I would highly recommend The Irish Walk!

I would give it no stars … Bought a custom sweater in nov 2013 they said it’ll be in by end of jan… it’s now may, have called every month and they are avoiding all calls and correspondence. They basically scammed me out of $ 350 and tomorrow I’m call the better business bureau.

This is a great little shop where you can purchase all things Irish and Guinness. Wait aren’t they one and the same?! Probably, but it doesn’t matter for it is all here. They have a fantastic selection of Irish sweaters that rival those I purchased at Blarney Castle Woolen Mills. Of course, you will pay hundreds of dollars more, but then you’re dealing with import fees and the fact that it is Old Town where everything cost a little more. One of my favorite purchases from this store was a flask belt; ingeniously designed so that the flask slips off the buckle for a quick nip of Jameson or your favorite Irish Spirit. Remember, you could say it with flowers, or even diamonds, but for the right person, nothing says it better than belt flask of Jameson ;)

I went last night to the Irish Walk. We saw that it was closed but an associate was still inside and she let us in. My family and I have been here a few times over the years. I found their jewelry to be beautiful but very expensive. The associate was funny and very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic Irish store — one of the better ones because they have a magically delicious(ugh — did I really write that? Someone please shoot me) combination of 3 different types of items: Type 1: The classy stuff: crystal, belleek, tweeds, fancy schmancy clothes and wraps and even kilts. Type 2: The schlocky stuff — you know what it is and you love it TYpe 3: The best stuff in the world — the food — especially the bacon, sausages and black and white pudding which you can buy together for a brilliant price of $ 20.99. Fabulous place.

I can’t imagine a store with more Irish goodies in it. I especially like that they carry things like Cadbury Flake! The owner told me that most of their items come straight from Ireland and many of the items are handmade from tiny little producers. What a great thing to support– local and small businesses all the way around!

I’ve been in a number of Irish stores across the country and while this one is small, it probably has the most merchandise that I have ever seen in one store, including really beautiful Kilkenny black marble and Connemara marble jewelry. After a preliminary scouting visit, I am definitely going back to do Christmas shopping there.

There aren’t too many good shops in the DC area for buying Irish related items. We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of items at this shop. They have a pretty decent jewelry collection, much of which comes from the Irish jewelry designer, Shan Ore. We first stopped in to this shop as we were looking for some wedding related items for our May wedding. They happen to have many nice wedding related items, including handkerchiefs, garters, rings, cake and knife serving sets, toasting flutes, and many other items as well. If you are Irish, or just looking for some Irish related things for St. Patrick’s Day, I highly recommend check out this shop.

I lost my claddagh ring that I bought in Ireland a few years ago, and on St. Patrick’s Day I was told I must not be Irish because I wasn’t wearing one. So I wondered into The Irish Walk and boy did I have a selection! The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful, when it came to figuring out my size and letting me try on rings before I choosing the right one for me. There was also a big collection of all things green, for this little-sized store. Everything from picture frames, Irish Coffee glasses, to key chains and sweatshirts. Warning to any proud Irish girls, you will WANT to spend a lot of money here.

Well if you can actually find an occasion to shop here, all-things-Irish will be at your fingertips. Literally, imagine something somehow related to the Irish and you will find it here, from the kitschy to the useful. I personally have only shopped the store pre-St. Patrick’s Day and to pick up something that had a real four leaf clover in it as a gift — success! Apparently, but I don’t remember seeing them, they carry claddagh wedding bands, as one of my girlfriends picked up a set for she and her fiancé.

If you need Irish paraphernalia this is the place to go. Granted I only really need to shop here during the month of March, when I find myself attending extended weekends filled with Irish festivities, such as the Erin Express in Pa. This store has more than just cheesy blinking four left clovers, it also has authentic Irish crystal and china. If you need to impress someone with a gift from Ireland you can not miss with this store.
