I have nothing but great things to say about this place! I have never ordered anything I didn’t love. My staples are the breakfast sandwich with egg, cooked spinach, and bacon. The navy bean soup is always delicious and hot. The pizzas are AMAZING, with a crisp crust and served with a side of hummus for dipping — GREATIDEA. The chicken Caesar is so great and filling with their yummy marinated chicken and homemade pita croutons. The hummus is on a level of its own. The best I have ever had. My favorite is the jalapeño. The ladies that work at this location are always very friendly and sweet.

Great lunch spot! I’ve gone twice in the last week. The first time I ordered the Hummus Chicken Veggie pita… delicious! My second trip, I ordered the Chicken and Spinach Cheese Melt(I added hummus)…another winner! It’s fast, fresh, and tasty. I will definitely return on future visits to the area.

I was treated to a take-out lunch from here, for which I picked a generously loaded Mediterranean Salad(with a red wine vinaigrette dressing) from the menu. It’s got a lettuce base, topped with a white bean concoction, a finely-chopped tomato mixture scoop, humus, three rolled grape leaves, and three falafel balls(those were ordered as an extra topping). They added a piece of house-made pita as well. Quantity does not compensate for the lackluster quality of the food. The humus was way too runny and entirely forgettable. The tomato mix, could perhaps have been tabouli-ish at a stretch, but lacking any hint of herbs such as parsley or mint, just seemed more like a salsa. The salad dressing was more oily than zingy. The falafel were just okay. The beans didn’t stand out either. So halfway through this monster salad, I had the sinking feeling that I was eating more only because it was physically in front of me, and sort of tasty in a way that a boring cheese sandwich at lunch wouldn’t be… The one saving grace were the grapeleaf rolls which were quite tasty. I would have had a plate of those alone. In sum, Perfect Pita is far from it. If they are going to bill their food as Mediterranean while making absolutely no effort to include fresh herbs that would give it the requisite kick and zing to be in the ballmark of ‘authentic flavor’, then it’s IMPerfect. Sniff. As for the play on the name Pita, I’ve forever been spoiled by, and still crave, Pita Pouch’s galactic offerings in Falls Church. Nothing compares, even if your name is Pita and another P word.

Friendly service, but the food is just OK. If you have a healthy appetite, you’re going to want to add extra meat.

Unexpectedly delightful. I am not huge on Greek food normally, but a co-worker led me to it for lunch the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. Went with the daily special of a steak and cheese pita and it was mouth-watering delicious. Prices were much lower than I had anticipated(under $ 8, which is always fantastic for lunch) and they had a lot of choices of freshly made salad, hummus, and pizzas. I will definitely be heading back here for lunch in the near future and trying one of the pizzas and some hummus for home!

Really good original humus! They have a vegetarian section of their menu, I had the humus sandwich for lunch and it was good; fresh ingredients and good and spicy humus sauce. No tables inside but we were able to get one outside. This is great for lunch – clean, efficient walk-up and order establishment.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Service was reasonable considering it was a pretty busy lunch hour. I’ve been here twice, once trying a pizza and the other a pita. Both were very good with fresh ingredients. You aren’t able to dine in here, but there is some seating right outside in the courtyard.

Not impressed. Decent size portion, but it was really greasy. I got the spinach melt with chicken and was charged extra to get hot peppers. That’s not a big deal, but there was only a bite or two that I actually noticed they were in there. By far the worst part of the was the staff — very unfriendly and cold. Also, no seating but that’s probably a positive considering the service probably wouldn’t have made the experience any better. Plenty of other restaurants in the area to go to.

This location is TINY. It makes the lunch rush pretty difficult. The hummus is amazing. Creamy and light. I had the Hummus Veggie pita with falafel. It was $ 7 and it could have been two meals. It was tasty and the falafel was perfect. I work in the area so it is nice to have a quick and fresh place to grab lunch. the other options around here aren’t so great. This is a win every time.

I work very close to Perfect Pita and visit there at least once a week. The plain hummus is spectacular. They’ve added some red pepper to the mix which gives it a great taste and with a slight bite. I highly recommend — big difference between here and the pre-packaged hummus. There are varieties(garlic, etc.) but I’ve only tried the standard hummus. $ 3.49 for a small, $ 5.99 for a large. You’ll always get it with a pita included. The pitas come in white or wheat and always fresh. Other things to try, «Mediterranian Sampler» which tahini, hummus an bean salad served with a pita. So good, for about $ 6. I’ve had a breakfast sandwich, too. And the coffee isn’t bad either. Also, try the backlava, the honey just soaks into your mouth — there are no words!!! I’ve also had the greek yogurt. You won’t find this to be as thick as some of what you’ll find in the stores, but seems home-made. I love this store. There’s no place to sit and eat inside this place, but, in warmer weather, there’s an office park nearby with seating and a park across the street. Don’t expect warm & fuzzies here. The service is courteous, but not super friendly — all business — no issues(the owner — think soup N@zi from Sienfield). The price is very fair for the Old Town area or even just the area in general. I love this place, all the food is fresh and above-average. Good food, fair prices.

Certainly enjoyed my falafel hummus pita here as it was huge for the price considering the area. Falafels were still crispy 10 minutes later when I took it home and the greens added additional tasty roughage. Long line but the service went quick. I think my wait was about 5 minutes for a 10 person line. Food came out within another 5 – 10 minutes.

This place is a joke. So, the minimum for credit cards is 5 $. I’m trying to buy 4 $ worth of drinks. Then I proceed to have the following dialogue with the employee: — Minimum 5 $. — You can charge me 5 $, I just want the drinks. — Minimum 5 $. — … The cashier had an attitude problem. Take your business elsewhere because they clearly don’t respect their customers.

As fast food goes it’s not bad, but hardly perfect. They have a very good vegetarian bean soup, but have been out of it sometimes. Their hummus is not worthwhile; you can get better hummus at a store for cheaper(and at Quattro Formaggi, oddly enough). The actual pitas are fine, the fillings are fine, some vegetarian choices there. It gets crowded at lunch so ordering ahead may be wise. There are a fair number of outdoor tables nearby, so even though this is a takeout place you can eat right there, weather permitting.

Gyro It was meh. I went at 5pm, right before it closed, so maybe that’s why it was so meh. But, that’s no excuse. The portion was quite generous, but a lot of something that is meh doesn’t make it much better. Meat was a bit rubbery. By the end of eating my gyro, the pita was a bit tough too. Upside! They were very fast. It was nice to try, but I don’t think I’d return any time soon.

Perfect Pita seems to be marketing an amusing niche audience: Girls who want a 900 calorie cheese-smothered mega sandwich, but prefer to eat said sandwich under the delusional pretense that they’re being healthy in doing so. If you want a huge pita sandwich loaded with hummus, fatty meat, cheese, and sauces, then Perfect Pita is the perfect lunch. As a 190lb man that bikes 11 miles each way to work, I find The Perfect Pita to be satisfying and delicious lunch that probably doesn’t help my blood pressure. It’s delicious, but I’m not sure that eating here is any healthier than eating lunch at Chipotle… but who’s counting, right?

I love perfect pita. They don’t have the most authentic food in the world but they have a certain charm and they are my staple for eating in old town. When I’m walking around on king and I want good food that’s not greasy — PP good food that is — Five guys ;) I’m not sure what they do about seating in the winter but in the spring summer and fall I like to stroll down to PP, get a gyro or two, and sit in that little courtyard right in front of their place or at the bit colonial hat wire structure a block down.(I didn’t realize it was a hat for about 2 years) food will fill you up and it’s about 8 bucks and really quick. easy to grab it to go and bring it back to your desk. I like to eat outside though.

The service is good, but the pitas are mediocre at best. As someone already mentioned its overpriced for a fast-food joint. If you’re in a rush you could still go here, but if you have the time go down the block and hit up the Pita House. The Pita House has more choices and authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

I finally went to The Perfect Pita today. It was always too crowded, and now I know why. First off, the workers were very friendly and the service was fast. I was eyeing all the other things you could get besides the pita — veggies, cookies, baklava, etc. I got the hummus pita sandwich. The pita was good, the hummus was fantastic, and the letuce and tomato was just a good combination. It was the perfect sized lunch. My friend got the stromboli and thought it was really good too. You can’t beat fresh, healthy, inexpensive, and delicious. The Perfect Pita has definitely made«the lunch list».
