Love their fresh food(Hummus Veggie and the Spinach Melt are our personal faves!) and their customer service! For the past two years we have ordered food from this location for our teacher appreciation luncheon and they are wonderful about getting the orders correct and even helped me carry the bags of food to my car. If you want picnic food for a day spent on the Potomac… this is your place! Very happy about their extended hours too! :)

Fell in love with Perfect Pita when I worked in Tyson’s and they were walking distance from our office on International Dr. Now I work in Old Town Alexandria and I’m so happy that they’re in walking distance from my Old Town office! I eat here often and suggest the Falafel Hummus Veggie. I usually get it with roasted red pepper hummus, but they offer 3 – 4 different fresh variations of hummus(original, jalapeño, black bean, and roasted red pepper). They also offer a wheat pita choice if you ask. You can get a combo with Route 66 chips and drink and the service is quick and a good sized portion! This location is one of their smallest though so there’s no seating area inside, but take it to go and eat on a nearby bench or back at the office! Definitely recommend!

Great place for a quick lunch grab. It is literally next to my office building so I always call ahead. The steak and cheese is delicious. Ask for an extra home made sauce. Price is a bit expensive especially when you add soda and chips get to almost $ 10.

Getting 4 stars only because there’s no seating inside or outside. However, we took our lunch to the park across the street and ate on the picnic tables. Impromptu picnic! I had the gyro and my family ate the spinach melt and falafel. Everything was delicious and a good portion. The staff was very nice and the food was fresh. I found my new regular lunch spot!

I love this place. The Zorba salad is always fresh and healthy. The house-made vinaigrette is light and seasoned well. They have whole wheat pita, which is a great healthy option(but still 200 calories per pita!) I also love the navy bean soup. Comes with a half slice of pita bread. I used to get the chicken hummus veggie with no cheese slice since feta already comes on it. It’s served warm from the hot chicken. A delicious sandwich if you’re looking for something more filling. This place is also really affordable. Everything is under $ 10. Excellent lunch spot for the neighboring businesses.

Good tasting Zorba said with 2 oz gyro. Really tasty. It was walkable distance from my hotel and cute little spot. No seating inside, just order to go but we ate at the park across the street. So a nice day with some good food

The 3 stars is not a bad sign at all okay? Just comparatively to others, The Perfect Pita gets a solid 3. This is a grab-and-go type of place. I love the selection and variety of hummus but they only give you one pita bread. You need at least 2 pieces of pita for that whole side of hummus. It’s bread — don’t be stingy Love the portion sizes, flavors and menu prices. Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. The girl taking our order was a bit spacey. She was confused when we asked for utensils, then *ding*! Ohh. right, we need forks. and OH~!! YES we ordered & paid for a side of jalapeño hummus. Check your bags before you grab and go!

The staff are great and helpful, but the pitas are far from perfect. The Pros: –Option to get a white or wheat pita –Nice drink and snack selection –Super fast service –Variety of hummus flavors The Cons: –Pita is just not that great –Small portion in comparison to other pitas I’ve had –No seating in or outside the establishment –Lacks authentic feel & taste Overall, if you want a quick and decent lunch to grab and take back to the office, this is the place for you. But if you are looking for an extraordinary pita that is going to satisfy your mediterranean cravings, then this isn’t going to be the best option.

I had The Perfect Pita for the first time yesterday. They catered a lunch at my job. There was a few boxed lunches leftover so I ate the Sir Ceasar. OHMYGOODNESS!!! It was delicious! It was amazing pita bread, well-seasoned chicken, lettuce, dressing. It was filling and healthy. My boss even wondered where the lunches came from and how they compared price wise to other places we have cater. They are very comparable, if not a little cheaper for your sandwich & chip boxed lunch. I just placed an order for catering this coming Tuesday. What a delicious place for a wonderful, healthy sandwich! If you have never eaten here or gotten take out, DOIT! =]

White pizza with chicken is really good and it comes with hummus to dip your crust ! This is a walk in place with no seating so If its cold out and you don’t have a local office to go back and eat at you’ll end up sitting in your work van and grubbing out like a loser… Yep, thats what I have to do, but its worth it. The gyros and pizza are good and the staff has always been friendly. Go in the summer get your food and walk down to the waters edge at the potomac. It hardly feels like your in a city at all.

Gyro Hummus Veggie on Wheat, no tomatoes and Jalapeño hummus inside. Thats my order! lets make it a thing. For those who aren’t familiar with Perfect Pita. They sell pita sandwiches. The stuffed ones are generous but I’d be lying if I didn’t think they’re still overpriced for a sandwich. Anyways, a a few tips for everyone is get the stuffed ones. 1.You can order any of their hummus’ as the hummus part of the sandwich. 2. White or Wheat Pita 3. Call ahead before you walk. It will be ready when you walk in there.(Limited standing room) 4. Mama Zuma’s chips are awesome. 5. Don’t order tomatoes. They’re bad for you and disgusting. ;)

The Perfect Pita is located so close to my office that I’m surprised I’m not there more often. Then again that’s probably a good thing, because their BLT – the only thing I order from there – is PACKED with delicious bacon. And that’s… Hold on. I can’t remember what’s wrong with a crap-ton of bacon. Eh, you’re all right, Perfect Pita. I’ve found hair in my food before. Uh… Actually yeah. Ew.

Rancid. Don’t go here… just keep walkin’… The staff did not have a commanding knowledge of English. Terrible pita. Really bad. There are many mixed reviews about this place. I am very comfortable with giving this place a low review, and side with all others that have given it a low review. Keep walkin’.

Pretty good pita! It was more americanized, but still delicious. I had the Turkey Hummus Veggie which was definitely filling and flavorful. The items in the menu are however a tad pricey. Then again, they do load up their pitas to the point before they start to explode. I’m in love with their motto: «You are what you eat, so why not be perfect?» Besides the restaurant itself, the location is a pain to get to. The parking right in front of the restaurant is reserved for Sports and Health club members only. I ended up parking at the Target on Skyline Drive… after having to get a ticket on the way in(never done that for a Target before). Thankfully it was free parking(stayed less than 2 hours), but just a pain.

Pros: Their breakfast pitas are delicious and cheap, especially the bacon($ 3 for the small) Good coffee Great pitas for 0.50 cents each Cons: Most of the staff is VERY unfriendly, borderline rude Do not accept credit cards for purchases under $ 5 Understuff their lunch pitas(I literally got 1 slice of turkey) Can take 10 – 15 minutes to get your food at times

The food here is good but not necessarily what I was expecting of a pita place. Got the chicken gyro after reading the reviews but was slightly confused when my meal was a chicken hoagie in a pita, with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Where was the tzatziki it said it came with? The chicken is not over cooked like at a lot of fast food-ish places and there was definitely a lot of it, but it also didn’t have the flavor of gyro meat. My taste buds said the combo worked, but my mind was playing tricks on me(Geto Boys… anyone? anyone?) — that’s not how a gyro is supposed to be. Didn’t want to judge too quick so I went back for a pita sandwich. Figured it has«pita» in the name just like the place, so maybe it’ll meet my expectations. Chose the falafel which came with hummus, cheese, tomato, cucumber and lightly grilled green bell peppers. The bell peps were a nice touch and the flavor of this worked a lot better for my mind/belly. And then I felt just like a fiend, it wasn’t even close to Halloween(ok, dating myself again with the old school lyrics). Not exactly sure why the pita sandwich was more expensive than the gyro-hoagie at $ 6.50, esp since it’s veg. But it was tasty and I’ll prob go back for it again since it’s so close to home, plus seemed a lot healthier than the über mayo/meaty gyoagie. Street parking here is always easy since it’s far enough off King but it does irk me that there aren’t any seats inside.
