Massage Green Spa

I had purchased a couples massage on groupon. The staff was great. We had gotten there early, and there was a couple before us. We waited in the lounge area, which had tea and water; to satisfy thirst. We waited about ten minutes after our appointment, but that was due to the couple before us asking questions; it did not deduct minutes off our massage though, they made sure of that! The atmosphere was very relaxful, and I now have a lot of kinks and knots out of my shoulder area! Definitely will be returning in the future, and recommend adding the stones to your massage!

The customer service was pretty good, everyone was nice and the atmosphere was alright and the massage was mediocre. I’ve had better. But I was really really disappointed that when I pay for a 90 minute massage and I get a 82 minute massage. My appointment was at 12:00 and when she said that our session was done, I looked up at the clock to see that it was 1:22. It was seriously the most disappointing thing I experienced that week. I probably won’t be going back. Or at least request someone else who actually does the work they are getting paid for.

Bought a couples massage from groupon for me and my boyfriend, and I was SOO pleasantly surprised! It was 100% worth it! Such a clean establishment and friendly staff, plus the massages were amazing! The sauna was great and we were able to watch Netflix inside! Overall great place for a great price! Definitely will be back and would refer to anyone! I felt like a princess, the towels and robes were so clean as well! Great atmosphere!

I will not be returning. The therapist were great but the management was below average. Overall poor customer service standards when trying to resolve a payment issue. I initially had given this place 5 starts: for their heated beds and cozy atmosphere. But that was until I had another $ 100 transaction taken from my account which acquired fees from my bank and spent over 3 hours on the phone between my bank and with management all for them to offer no apologies and try to put blame on me! I now have to wait 3 – 5 days or my refund to come in and was offered nothing in exchange for my trouble but wasted time. I wouldn’t have even been aware of the issue if it wasn’t for my bank alerting me of the negative balance! I’m warning family and friends to only bring cash when paying or simply to just stay away!

Very very nice and clean environment went here for the first time today and loved it !!

Petty hard it seems to by a gift card not to helpful on the phone was told to call back so guess they are making to much money over there.

Samantha was fantastic! I am the kind of person who loves deep tissue and she nailed it. I took advantage of the $ 29.95 full body massage. Not too keen on giving my card over the phone to hold my appointment same day but understandable.

As noted below, there was a price increase in the membership fee — which was disappointing but it is what it is. Their cancellation policy is well publicized (including when you make the appointments online) so not sure why so many people are rating them with one star because exceptions aren’t being made. No doubt it was because of so many «emergencies» that this policy was put into place to begin with. (I mean, seriously, you don’t know when you schedule a dentist appointment 1 hour beforehand that you aren’t going to show up? pffft, ridiculous)
The place is always clean. Today, they had a ‘lemon’ scent going through the lobby and the waiting room and it was so horrible that I thought about going outside to wait for my appointment. I was worried that I would smell it in my room. FORTUNATELY, I was in the back, so no worries there. But seriously, it was a horrible lemon scent and I hope they see this and get rid of it asap. I initially thought it was a cleaning detergent but then saw the oil diffuser in the waiting room, so I assume it was that. I won’t knock them down a star for it though because it was the first time this has happened. All spas should keep with the eucalyptus, if anything, in my opinion.
As noted in other reviews, all the therapists are nice. However, if you haven’t scheduled an appointment with Samantha B yet, DO IT (just not when I want an appointment, ok?). And if you haven’t ventured into the Cranial Sacral option yet, DO IT. It’s not your typical massage and the youtube videos really don’t do it justice. But if you are looking for something different and are willing to venture outside of your comfort zone, try it. You can even combine it with a regular or deep tissue massage (I combined 2 months to do that). Cranial Sacral is seriously awesome and leaves your body and mind completely relaxed. But if you are not ready for that, Samantha also gives a killer deep tissue massage too!

Price hiked from previous reviews: it is 49.99 for 1 hour full body massage. Still competitive compare to other establishments.
I am a first time customer, however since it’s Mother’s Day weekend, the price is 49.99/hour. They did say they will let me have the 29.99 introductory offer on my second visit.
My therapist Jessica did a wonderful job on my shoulder and back. The environment is clean and elegant.
I’d recommend this place to anyone.

I went online late one evening and scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon. There were over 15 appointments available for the next day so scheduling was easy. The day of the appointment I had extreme mouth pain and made an appointment with my dentist for an hour before my massage. While at the dentist they determined I needed an immediate root canal and did it right then. Needless to say 3 hours later I came out of the dentist and called the spa to let them know what happened and why I missed the appointment. I got a total corporate canned response that they «turned away» customers for that time and were totally booked. No understanding– I understand there are policies but there are actual emergencies sometimes. My son had gone the week before and liked the spa and i was planning on getting the membership and using it at least 3xs a month. They have just lost my family’s business. Not just for them not being understanding but the BS lines they fed me.

Very clean and well maintained. The staff is also very friendly and polite. They offer prenatal massages too and the masseuse was very gentle. I have lower back pain and this was a big relief. The packages are not too expensive and totally worth the experience.

So many good things to say about Massage Green!
Environment: The space itself is very clean and well taken care of. Everything is freshly painted, there is tranquil music playing to relax you. Water/​Tea is available, and the sitting room in front is wonderful.
Each masseuse and staff member has shown my husband and I nothing but knowledge, kindness, and patience. One of the receptionists, Alyssa, is so kind and welcoming. She knows us by name now, and it always asking how we are, making sure we are happy and relaxed.
My husband and I have enjoyed massages by Danielle, Kourtney and Brittney. If you have the chance to have them, take advantage. The girls are so skilled and knowledgeable, answering any questions you may have, explaining their technique, or just giving you silence when you choose to relax.
Typically, we will schedule a massage a day or two in advance, and we always find availability. They are great with scheduling.
We do use the month membership, it’s $ 40 total for the two of us, and this is the price of one massage. Any other massages that you want to buy, you can do so for one hours between $ 29 – 39. We have also done 1 ½ hour, and hot stone massages with them. All are a great value.
Try it out — the introductory one hour is $ 29. How do you beat that?

I was a member at one of the other massage places in Algonquin and was not that impressed. I switched to Massage Green and I could not believe that for $ 20 a month less, it is consistently SO MUCH BETTER! The atmosphere is nice and the staff very professional. I am happy everytime!

Service his gone down hill and their cancellation policy is very inflexible even if there is an emergency they won’t reschedule you. Cassondra is very rude and Will never admit when she is wrong I am not a customer talk — she will talk over them

My husband bought me a gift certificate to Massage Green for Valentines Day. I’m not the type to go & get a massage & he knows I’d kill him for dropping a ton of cash on one. When I arrived to Massage Green, I was thrilled to find the rates to be totally reasonable. My therapist was Amy, and she did things to my tense, stress-​laden stay-​at-​home-​mommy back that I didn’t know were possible. I received a firm Swedish massage, and it was fabulous. I left the no-​frills little spa with an appointment for my husband and a new (incredibly priced) monthly membership. Did i mention I’m not usually a massage-​goer? I am currently a pile of relaxed moosh on my couch. Such a great way to pamper yourself a little & not break the bank. Props to my guy for getting me exactly what I didn’t know I needed!
