Stopped in to get a new Easton Synergy stick. I usually just hit up sports authority in CL but they didn’t have many left handed stick I liked. This store is in a great location and had exactly what I wanted!

I just popped in here for my first time today. It’s more or less your typical Total Hockey, if you’ve been to one before. In comparison to the Schaumburg TH, I like this layout more. I highly recommend the Breakaway rewards cards… you get points for everything you purchase. If you have the Platinum card(costs $ 40), which I do, you get free sharpenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays… pays for itself over the course of a few months. You also get $ 60 reward card just for signing up, so, I suppose, you really are getting paid to sign up for one. You also get a bunch of other benefits for having the card, just ask one of the guys there and they’ll fill ya in. I can’t comment on the quality of the skate sharpening, since I haven’t skated on it yet. I always get the 100⁄50(Flat Bottom V) sharpening and haven’t had problems with the other TH locations I’ve had them done at, so I feel confident they have trained this store well, too. They have a good selection of all your typical equipment(gloves, sticks, helmets, breeeezers, elbow pads, skates, etc.) and also have a decent selection of apparel, if you’re into all that. The sticks are a bit pricey, because they usually don’t have the older stock like they do on their website, so I would recommend heading there for last year’s discounted models. They always have the flat screen tvs tuned to the NHL Network and have it playing on the store’s speaker system, so they definitely try to appeal to your every hockey sense. The location is pretty convenient… right next to Best Buy and on the busy ass Randall Road that all of us locals frequent for our shopping needs. Overall, I am super happy that we have a truly dedicated hockey store in the area and are not forced to deal with the local pro shop kids(who all suck, in my opinion) sharpenening our skates and we no longer have to trek all the way to the Hoffman Estates location. ‘CHECK’ it out Unilocaler dudes!
