I couldn’t take it anymore with this 711 and specifically created a Unilocal account to review this dump. Sure you day to yourself, there’s one on every corner it shouldn’t be any different right? WRONG! This place always reeks of bleach, soft drink area is always dirty. Went a couple of weeks ago to buy a Horchata from the soft drink fountain and it was«temporarily» out of order. I say bummer but ok. Here it is weeks later and not only is it still out of order but now two other drinks as well. I’m not surprised because durning the holiday season when I look forward to having the pumpkin spiced latte, they never have it and just put up a «temporarily out of order» sign as well. I don’t know if they are just lazy or what. Also, the people who work there are always rudely talking in their native Asian language to themselves while they are ringing you up. I don’t know what they are saying and can clearly be talking smack about the costumers. Sure other 711’s have mostly Indian working employees who speak in their native tongue but at least have the decency to say«hello my friend» when you walk in. Another thing too is there is always some seedy looking bums out begging for money. Bottom line is I’m through with this place. I’d gladly go a couple blocks up north on Atlantic to the other 711 across the street from Ralphs for better service.

They sell a variety of foods. However, there is one Asian female cashier that is quite rude to you and will try to bump into your business. For example, my Slurpee lid wasn’t tight so she made it tight for me. I’m a grown man and I can do it myself, you don’t need to butt your business and do it for me. The male cashiers are polite at least. One day, I did encounter a random strange and a cashier arguing about something and sending each other threats, but it ended pretty quickly. Overall, a decent place to go to, but don’t expect perfect service every time.

Unilocal 365 Review Challenge 2014 — Los Angeles #78 — #365 Same as every other 7 – 11 in any city block, you’d find the same crap and the usual employees with the red shirts that says 7 – 11 on it. Friendly staff with a genuine smile to go with it. I mostly stop by for the energy drinks like Rockstar, Monster, Red Bull, and AMP. If I’m feeling lucky, I might by a lottery scratcher or a lotto ticket. Do you sometimes feel lucky?

This 7-Eleven is good! Right by Auto Zone so when you’re getting your boyfriend to help you change your battery, you run in there and buy yourself(and him) a slurpeee!!! =) The workers in there always seem like they are learning how to do something new. Maybe it’s just the way the lady talks to the guy… like she’s training him… for two years straight.

They have all the goodies you need to get your fix. I usually come here just to get Lottery. The lady at the cashier could be a little friendly, she always seems to be in a bad mood.

Right next door to the Autozone. I came here to pick up a few snacks and small items for short road trip. Nothing special in terms of service, but the store was pretty clean and well organized. Good place for a quick pit stop if you’re in a rush or forgot to pack extra goodies. Never had to deal with more than three people in the line.

I get my hot dogs and monster energy drinks here occationally. They got this 2 hot dogs + drink special for under $ 5. The cashiers are exceptionally friendly and professional. They greet with sincere smiles and hellos. Even though I’m in and out in under 5 minutes. They make me feel like going back in and getting more stuff. Definatly the 7-eleven of choice. I can pay with my credit card faster than I can pick my nose.

The service kinda sucks. I know, you’re thinking«it’s 7 – 11, not Ruth’s Chris.» True, but I frequent another 7 – 11 in Alhambra, and not only do the employees and myself know one another on a first name basis, but they engage in conversation while I’m there. Even the owner acknowledges me. I feel more like a valued customer that way.

Who knew 7-Eleven could have such good coffee? I stop by here on my way to work for my must-have cup of coffee in the mornings. They have different flavors of coffee like hazelnut, decaf, Colombian bold and my favorite, french vanilla. I love the lil packets of flavored creamers including Irish cream, french vanilla, and caramel macchiato.

This 7-Eleven has a copy machine! Not all 7-Elevens have one. A godsend for late-night copies. 15 cents per page.

Sometimes the idea of shelling out $ 3.50 for a coffee is enough to make me make INSTANT coffee. Yuck, fo sho! So when I want to save my $ 5 bill for lunch and I’ve counted out about $ 1.25 in change, I stop by this 7 – 11 on my way to work for a little pick-me-up. I really only drink coffee when I have to be anywhere before 9am. I’m not, not, NOT a morning person! GIVEMECOFFEE! So yeah, coffee is delicious and cheap, plus flavored creamers(yessss, french vanilla me!!) and Grandma’s yummy peanut butter cookies($ 0.59 thankyouverymuch). It’s not the breakfast of champions by any means, but it does the trick. Interesting note: when I stopped in this morning, there was about 5 late 20s-early 30s guys deciding what beer they were drinking. Yeeeeeeah, dude, it’s 6:30AM. On a Wednesday. In Alhambra. This isn’t Vegas! Maybe I’m just jealous… nah, at 6:30am on a Wednesday, coffee trumps BudLight(yeah, that’s what they decided on).
