Hello my Unilocalies, Came here for the first time because I was craving for some tacos and was around the area and thought why not give this place a try. Parking is very convenient they are located right next to a 7 – 11 so you can definitely share their parking spaces. I order their 4 tacos with a drink for $ 5.50 which is a pretty good deal, on top of the tacos I order a side of chips and salsa($ 1.50). The tacos were okay, the chicken was a little disappointing because it didn’t have much taste and seems like it was just boiled but if you eat it with their salsa and lime then it doesn’t matter that much besides its probably more healthy that way. I was very happy with the chips and salsa, the chips was super Crispy and the salsa could have been spicier but it’s still good enough for my taste. I’m not too familiar with Mexican Cosine so I personally don’t really like burritos and have no idea what a torta is(yes yes don’t laugh at me) but I saw many people came in ordered the tortas, I am definitely going to give that a try next time. Their service was decent, everyone was extremely friendly and kind while waiting for me to order. Overall, 3 stars for food and drinks, 4 stars for service, 3 stars for environment and decoration and 4 stars for cleanliness. If I’m in the area next time I’ll definitely come back and give the tortas a try.

Great food, great service. Their California burrito is the absolute best I’ve ever had.

1st Time entering after seeing so many times driving by… And worth it! Try the 4Tacos Special. 4 tacos(you choice of meat) and a drink for $ 5.50!!! Hits the spot at any time of the day!!! You can eat inside or take to go!!! You don’t have to go to East LA to enjoy tacos and burritos!!!

I got the cabeza burrito($ 6). I thought it was delicious especially compared to the ones in NorCal. Small place so not too many seats.

Fish tacos, PERIOD! Very good and very filling! A little on the pricier side, but definitely something that you’ll come back for!

First time here today… bad idea. I’m always amazed when Latinos are racist towards each other. When our food was ready, we were called to pick it up, one item at a time. I didn’t thin much about it until I noticed a white man come in after us. He sat down after ordering and never got up again. Everything, including his drink, was brought to him. Unbelievable!!! First and last visit. Their food is average.

Meat is ok, not the greatest but ok. Always get the chile relleno burrito when I’m around this place. I’d say is the best little Mexican place in Alhambra. The service is great which is one reason that has brought me over and over again. The price isn’t too bad, $ 6 and some change for a burrito.

Traditional Mexican menu. I like it because the food is made just like or your grandma made, simple but tasty. The place is clean and family run. Try it and support this small business.

Mediocre Mexican food. I would only come here if you are lazy, and this place is in your neighborhood. We ordered a burrito, tacos, tortas and taquitos. The meat was bland, the rice was stale, the salsa was watery. Price is average, and so is service. This is more of a order to go place, not much seating and the tables that were open weren’t that clean. The food needs more flavor and better salsa.

Really good tacos. The meat carne asada was tasty. Came yesterday and back today for more. And the owner was really nice.

I work at the school next to here and come when I’m craving a torta. It’s not the cleanest but I go because of convenience and when I am tired of eating at Wendy’s. Must try their Carne Asada Torta! Pass on their soups. I hated them. Literally took a couple of spoonfuls and left that huge bowl there on their table. Hopefully that gave them a hint. Their tacos are okay. They aren’t very consistent so I don’t order them anymore. Phone your order in ahead of time. It gets packed during lunch. And if you plan on eating inside, good luck. There are only four tables. With that being said; if you do eat there don’t be a douche and use your phone and chill while you’re eating. Just eat and go. There’s other people waiting. Bottom line is, I wouldn’t come here if I didn’t work so close. Definitely have had WAY better tacos. But their yummy tortas save them.

I stopped by Manny’s on a whim. Ordered a Chile rojo burrito for $ 5.50. The place looked especially clean so I decided to sit down instead of eating in my car as usual. The cashier was warm and welcoming, waived the $ 10 credit card minimum, and brought me chips and salsa for free. The burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had, not too big not too small, every bite was juicy and delicious. The salsa was spicy and full of flavor. I’m writing this review so I remember to stop by again next time I’m in Alhambra.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while. I came for nachos, and they were out of them. I figured ok there is a kitchen so they will make some chips, wrong, I ordered a burrito that had no taste to it. I came and tried it and will find another place to go.

Been here 5 times… Every time I say I’m gonna give it another chance. I keep getting disappointed. Cheap portions, for the price. I mean how much more could it be for a little more beans!!! Fuck this place… NOTCOMINGBACK. If you see me there… Please shame me.

I ordered caldo de res they took 15 minutes to serve something that should always be fresh and ready to serve. Instead they go to their fridge and spoon out a portion so they can reheat it individually in a small pot. It tasted reheated and as if it absorbed the fridge odors. I looked for the beef chunks but spooned out big chunks of fat, I finally found a 1″ piece on meat that looked black, old and tasted disgusting I gave the meat to my poor cat. Bottom line over priced bland emergency food.

Pretty good experience. Needed to pickup a few parts for the car and saw Manny’s Tacos next door. Love trying new, locally owned taquerias so what the heck. Nice, clean and very friendly folks at Manny’s Tacos. Since I’d arrived without a scrap of breakfast in me I’d ordered a Chorizo/Egg burrito for the wifey and a Carnitas for myself; to-go, but a nice place for a sit-down lunch. The wifey really liked her burrito — good tasting and healthy size(large). Me; not really a fan of tomato-based, wet Carnitas. I prefer the dry, bbq raosted version. In a pinch, Manny Taco’s would do. Parking is plentiful.

I came here with my mom for a quick lunch. I wanted to get shredded beef taquitos, normally I just get«Mannys Nachos» with Asada from here which is really good but I felt like something different this time. The women told me they were out of shredded beef so I was a bit disappointed but she said they had chicken for the taquitos instead. I’m normally really picky when it comes to chicken so I was skeptical at first. But it turns out I’m glad I got that! The chicken was good didn’t have any bad pieces. Very good I think I will get it again.

I got a chicken quesadilla and a bottle of water fairly priced $ 8.50. The place is fairly small and the food taste good not great or wowed. I would have said based on food I would come back and try something else but the service was bad and will keep me from returning. I was not greeted just asked what did I want, as if I was bothering her. Then a young man appearing to be her son stood their with a sour face. So clearly the apple doesn’t rot far from the tree. After the sour faces I then ruined her day by using my debt card, which was indicated by the heavy and loud sigh. The meal come out a few minutes after all that. No one le 8 steps to get my bag, when the bag was thrusted in my face with a super friendly«here». I walked out then realized I hadn’t gotten my water. Which only lead to more eye rolls and sighs. As if it was my fault they didn’t give me the bottle of water I paid for. So if u like ok Mexican food and being treated like as if your presents is a bother and ur business isn’t needed then by all means grab a fork and dig in.

This food was gross. I decided to give it a try because it’s so close to my house & if it had bomb food then it’d be really handy. Unfortunately, it sucked. I ordered a combination plate of a chile relleno and enchilada, and both had no flavor. Also, I asked for a green enchilada and he gave me a red one. I hate red enchiladas. The rice & beans were good but it doesn’t take a master chef to make decent beans and rice. When I finished eating it I had this weird powdery feeling in my throat that didn’t go away until I washed it down with water. That makes me feel like the food is really cheap and fake. I won’t be back here. It wasn’t worth the $ 8 or the calories!

Tacos are now $ 1.10 each! I’ve tried both the pastor and the asada tacos. Not bad, good amount of meat. They have tamales on the weekend… I did not order that because I had so much food already. Prices are pretty cheap. The fried potato taco is $ 1.50 and very bland. Definitely do not recommend that. I really wanted some breakfasty food that day and got some huevos rancheros. I’m no expert in huevos rancheros, but the fried egg was overcooked so the yolk was firm and dry. I enjoy fried eggs so much better when they are runny! :O The potatoes were OK, the sauce on the eggs was OK, the refried beans were OK. Pretty disappointed with this dish. They sprinkle a small amount of cheese on the beans, but no cheesy enough for me. The tortillas were piping hot! The best item I ordered was the california burrito. It reminded me of carne asada fries, but conveniently wrapped in a burrito! Carne asada, fries, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo… I’m not sure of the price. It’s one of those items that’s not on the main menu, written on a colorful sign on the side. Maybe $ 7? It’s a small location with a few tables, TV with spanish shows, and a decent size parking lot.
