I supervise large medical office and treat my staff to monthly Starbucks. I recently ordered a large order for my staff and was disappointed to find that all of our hot drinks were lukewarm and only ¾ full. I spoke to Celine later on at Starbucks and told her about what had happened. She was extremely apologetic and she spoke to her supervisor in regards to my complaint. Shortly, I received a call back from Celine, who told me she will rectify the situation. She re-did my entire order, free of charge, the following day(no questions asked.) What great customer service. I know not all Starbucks have such good service. This branch is under good management.

For me, I like its location. It nears the Alhambra Library, Very often, I come here after the library is closed and I need extra time to work on my computer. They have tables inside and outside. But, I normally sit inside for better air condition. Today, I got a Valentine’s Day special Molten Chocolate Frappuccino. Too bad! It is just okay in term of taste:(

This location keeps changing little bit at a time. They had a bunch of tables lined up and velvet ropes to walk around to form a line. Now it’s a wooden rail to walk around and noticing less tables as if they don’t want you to camp out. There are tables outside but the downfall would be no outlets to charge. Used to be all short tables and not there are a few high top tables where a long table used to be. Menu is always the same with regulars coming like the TV show, Cheers. Baristas greeting them like Cliff and Norm. I don’t understand what people do when they park. Please don’t take up two spots just because you don’t know how to parallel park in the green curb zone. Even if you’re just going to run in for just one order. You are making the time to stop and walk in, might as well take a few more minutes and park your ride the right way. *end rant*

Worst service from any Starbucks today. The barista had no apologies for taking 15 minutes to make my husband’s drink, since his order was not written down. I don’t fault that as much as her attitude, especially after he asked 3 times about his drink, and she just kept putting out those for the customers who came after us. Unacceptable, and we will never go to this location again.

Well this is how I do my review on Unilocal. At Starbucks! I love Starbucks such a lovely environment, where one can kick back, relax and enjoy a variety of food items and coffee/drink. At this location I love the staff, so friendly and so talented in making the drinks perfectly and to your taste once they get to know you. I highly recommend the Banana loaf, berry coffee cake, cold brew coffee.

In all seriousness, Starbucks doesn’t need a review. There’s one on every corner and that’s proof that people want their Starbucks when they want it. The service was so great here, I couldn’t help but applaud them with a Unilocal review. Yesterday, I spent my first night in a new apartment, in a new city. I had work in the morning and I’m a RN. A nurse without caffeine doesn’t play nicely with others. The world should know this, so I am educating you now. I ordered my usual– grande coffee in a Venti cup. The cashier rang me up and my card wouldn’t read. It wasn’t declined, it just wouldn’t read. She politely made me aware of the situation but told me it was okay. I told her I could go to my car and get anther card or cash in which to pay. She politely declined my offer and told me it was just a cup of coffee and that it was fine. I noticed there was only one person behind me, so going to my car wouldn’t have caused any trouble for her nor I, yet she didn’t want to inconvenience me. What service! They say you can get to a man’s heart through his stomach, well she got to this nurse’s heart through her cup of coffee. This is my new go-to Starbucks. Oh, what one cup of coffee can do!

Barely on par. I just came into for a coffee and a place to read while waiting for my friend to get off for lunch. Parking was easy across the street in a public structure behind Vinos. It was around half-full with people at around 11:30am on a Friday. I got my black coffee real quick by a nice barista/cashier. Found a nice spot to sit and started reading. The only gruff I have with this place is that, at least from where i was sitting, it was kind of dirty. There were flies around every couple of minutes and some trash here and there. But at least there was plenty of room to sit, especially outside. Would I come back? eh. Just for the bare necesity that is for coffee.

After having lunch with some fellow students, we walked across the street to get some much needed refreshments. We decided to walk around town a bit, and Alhambra was hotter than usual. We ordered some tretta iced green teas, and enjoyed them while checking out downtown area. This location is friendly and efficient. The restrooms and kept clean, and you need a code to access it. Their air conditioning provided much needed relief from the heat outside. Most other patrons were families enjoying a Friday night out. Some students were here as well, although I could never study at a Starbucks. I’m glad their here though, their green tea hit the spot.

I want so much to like this starbucks, but I feel like it’s so badly located(there’s nowhere to park) and it’s always EXTREMELYFULL, and the service seems slower than other starbucks. There are a bunch of other starbucks in the area within like a 5 minute drive, so if you’re not specifically trying to go here, I’d say try one of the other ones!

I come here from time to time when I need that caffeine picker upper. There’s not too much to say about this Starbucks… parking can be a hassle if you can’t find street parking, though if you come early in the morning it really isn’t an issue. Aside from that, there’s not much else thats AMAZING or AGHHHHOH so bad about it.

This is a small location so they have a few tables inside and a few tables outside. On top of that it averaged out to about 1 customer per table. So we were out of luck. We sat on the planters outside because all the tables were taken. You can sit outside and stare at the huge crowds in front of Gen or pick out your next food adventure from the shops dotting Main St. The staff was nice. You can park at the big lot across the street.

Went here on a weekend evening to grab some coffee. Parking is easy and found either on the streets or the parking structure the next block over and a bit north. Free parking, score. That’s what I like about Alhambra, it hasn’t gentrified to the point of Old Town Pasadena where you have to pay to even walk and breathe. This location is cool. Plenty of seats outside. Not so much inside as they get taken quickly by people with laptops. The Starbucks syndrome. Employees here are very nice. You get in, order, maybe small chit-chat if the line is very short and go get a seat outside or take a walk on Main St. Drinks here are standard(in terms of price and taste) like any other Starbucks. It was okay. We sat outside which was nice. It’s a good place to take everything in and just people watch or just relax while you sip your coffee, hot chocolate, tea or other beverage. This Starbucks can get a bit messy with random trash on the floor outside but it’s probably not Starbucks’ fault. It’s situated on the a street. It’s not my go-to Starbucks(I actually don’t drink much Starbucks unless in the mood) but I’ll come back just to chill on Main St.

I’m a regular, usually on Sundays after having lunch with Mom. So again, I’m pretty faded and high when I come in. It is pretty crowded around this time, but there is outside seating, that has great views for those who come as a group. But yeah crowded. Its in the middle of Alhambra, so expect… parking is tricky. But there’s plenty of parking lots less than 100 yards in all directions. I’m giving 4 stars, because the front doors trip me out Has anyone noticed that the main entrance doors are installed backwards? #Imhighnow

I come to this Starbucks mainly out of convenience and also because I have consistently received very good service here. The employees are all very friendly, the atmosphere is busy but not rushed, and I always get a lot of work done here. I know people often complain about the taste of Starbucks is not worth the price. In my opinion, the price is not for the quality of the coffee(which I think is fine although it’s not gourmet), but for the atmosphere. And that’s why I come back, although I do take care to come early in the morning to ensure I get a seat(seating is very competitive).

They are too cheap to buy good beans which is why they almost always burn them and why your coffee tastes like crap. They buy bad beans from the ground to save money and have to over-roast them to keep you from getting sick. Go to pretty much any other coffee shop on the planet, pay less and get a MUCH better drink.

I think this is the closest Starbucks to my home. It has great wood doors and a décor of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Many of the guests are students with laptop in hand, studying for finals. I feel good about the staff and location of this Starbucks, in comparison to my last venture in Highland Park. This area will soon be another Westwood, as the development of a shopping center occurs just a block southeast of this location. Many of the landlords have already raised the rents for the surrounding businesses, so I hope Starbucks signed a very long lease…

Like many other Starbucks, this one is very busy in the morning. There are ample reasons that it gets three stars. I have been coming here consistently for years and always ask for exactly the same grande drip. Few server remembers that. In addition, I ask for low fat milk every morning and it’s never at the self-help area(they only put half & half at the station). Little things like such tell me that the service style is impersonal and insensitive. This is not the case at the South Pas. location(on Huntington and Fremont). The service there is so much better. Perhaps the manager here can pay a field trip, learn and improve.

Stsrbucks is what it is, but this place does a nice job. The three stars had less to do with the shop, and more to do with the lack of parking in the area. For fun, I like to give them fake names for my drinks, then here them struggle with them, or give me a hard time when they read my real name off my credit card.
