It’s not even 2pm and the sign says Closed! Read other reviews and it’s not the first time. Hopefully there’s is good reason for this unacceptable business etiquette.

Came in for notary. Fast and efficient :) Kent is very quiet but nice manager of this mail box service. This might become my new go to notary/​mail service place!

It’s Monday 4:30pm and the sign states they close at 6pm. But yet here I am looking at a closed store. Why post business hours if your not going to honor them.

They have key copying and notary services, both of which always seem to be hard to find.

My family and I have utilized The Mailbox Shop’s services on many occasions including notarizing documents, taking passport photos, and shipping packages. Every time I have visited, the service has always been friendly and efficient. The Mailbox Shop is also very clean and organized well, as other Unilocalers have mentioned!
Kent, the manager, is also very helpful and professional! I would definitely recommend The Mailbox Shop to anyone in need of shipping/​copying/​notary services!
Tips:
— Plentiful parking. It’s in the same plaza where Ralphs used to be.
— They offer many other services such as mailbox rentals, key duplication, gift wrapping, secure shredding service, etc.

Since I’m kind of weird about leaving my FedEx packs in the drop boxes overnight, I feel so much better leaving it in an actual store. I’ve stopped by this place a few times, mainly to drop off International FedEx Express packs. The people who work there always makes sure to let me know if my package will be going out the following day instead of the day I dropped it off.
It’s not a giant store, but it definitely reminds me of a bit of Staples, a bit of the Post Office, a bit of Kinko’s and a bit of FedEx Shipping Centers all squeezed into one! Like a mini ship station! As everyone else has said, this place is clean, organized, and service is efficient each time I’ve been here.
Parking? No problem! It’s right in the Ralphs, AAA, Arby’s plaza… there should never be a parking issue!

I’m going to start this off noting how simple a service I wanted. All I wanted was to get was 30 color copies of a document. That’s ALL.
So, I found this place off Unilocal,and was told all kinds of positive things about their customer service. Maybe I just got them on an off day. On their website, I found under their services offered document and printing services. I read what this entailed, and it included color copies, so I was about to leave to the actual location until I saw at the bottom, a place telling me I could simply upload a file through their site and someone would reach me shortly with an estimate. Amazing, I thought, so I did this. I was told I would be contacted via phone. I waited an hour and nothing. Thus now defeating the purpose of added swiftness and convenience I called the store to find out what the hell happened to my order. I called, and asked if I could check on the status of the order I had placed on their website, and also explained that no one had contacted me. The guy who answered the phone was not professional, nor polite, NOR did he have ANY idea what I was talking about when I referred to this part of their site. He told me, that I should call the «corporate number for kinkos» and that they were «only an independent contractor» and he wouldn’t know about that since they’re only «licensed by FedEx» or something. Very irritated by this, I asked «So. did anyone receive my files or are they just floating around? Was anyone ever going to answer my request?». Upon saying this nonsense I was offered no further explanation and left with a long awkward pause. For a business who’s website actually says «Kinkos shminko’s, let us add our special touch», this was such BS.
First of all, what the hell did any of what he just said have to do with my question? I entered my information on the mailbox shop’s website, was told I was going to be contacted by them, about my copies, made at their store. This had nothing to do with FedEx, OR Kinkos. I was pissed. Anyhow. Seeing as he was not going to offer me a freaking response, I asked if I could just show up to the store and print my copies there. His answers were short and disinterested with simple «No» or «Yes“‘s. Obviously I don’t know how your shop works especially after this issue with your website so I would like some direction please.
Now knowing I had wasted an hour and a half at this point, I drive to the location, which I only picked because it was close to my house. Like everyone had noted before, it was very well organized. However I was not greeted, but just stared at by the two employees there. They didn’t offer any assistance right away, and just waited until I walked up to the counter to stare boredly at me with vaguely inquisitive faces. I said I had called earlier and wasn’t sure who I had talked to about my copies, and as soon as I said that one of the employees came swiftly around the corner without saying a word, shuffled over to a computer, did not motion us to follow but seemed to imply that we should, clicked the mouse of the computer to make it come out of hibernate mode. No questions, no hellos, no words. We stood there for about a minute in silence waiting for this computer which was unbelievably slow to come back to life, and then he just grunted at me and pointed towards the computer implying that I should put in the usb drive I was holding. So I did, and I found the files I needed and he stood there, annoyed and sighing like I wasn’t moving fast enough for him. There was no one else in the store and he was rushing me. Horrible service. After telling me which printer to select he left me to my own devices. As soon as the first document printed the color was horrendously off and I expressed great distress over this. On the screen the document was a bright pretty blue violet but had printed a dirty looking dull plum. Awful. I asked him if anything could be done, and he just said no. I’ve never had anything I printed to look that drastically different. I was so displeased by this, yet he didn’t care. These were advertisement flyers for my business, and the color was apart of my whole look. I was VERY disappointed that he didn’t even try to fix this.
At this point I was just thinking, Ok screw this guy. I went to pay, and the strangest thing happened. All of a sudden, he was super friendly and upbeat now that I was paying. It was like he was so unimaginably relieved that I would now be leaving, it made him visibly filled with glee.
The ten minutes I spent in that building was the most awkward, unfriendly, and condescending customer service I’ve ever received from an employee who put in such little effort.
I give this place 2 stars because it does appeal to the eye with all the goodies I didn’t get the chance to go through hanging from the walls, and I feel I would’ve had a more pleasant experience if I had been helped by someone else.

Excellent and friendly service. Todd is an amazing guy and helped me with assembling a pamphlet for school. He was really patient and made sure we worked out all the kinks in my pamphlet. Definitely going back again!

I recently stopped by The Mailbox Shop and was struck by how unique and impressive this location was:
1) The store is clean, organized, and easy to navigate. This isn’t some Turkish Bazaar of random gift shop items and mismatched shipping envelopes, this is a fully professional mailroom for all your personal business needs. Everything is new, spotless, and easy to find.
2) Selection of items and services is comprehensive. Beyond PO Boxes and Notary Service, this place has DHL, FedEx, packing services, moving boxes, Internet access, and even oddities like what I came in for: a check deposit stamp for my property management business.
3) Service was friendly, responsive, and personal. Even though I may have interrupted a working lunch, store manager Todd was still quick to greet me and explain all of the services they had available.
I highly recommend The Mailbox Shop — if I lived a little closer they would have my PO Box business as well!

So… I’m sitting in my living room looking through all my wedding-​to-​do-​list.
I see my marriage license.
Crap. I forgot to get it notarized. More stuff to do?!

He texts back and says he found this place on Unilocal that got good reviews and they notarize documents!
We park and walk. Oops, we could’ve parked in the bigger parking lot. Oh well.

It is $ 10 per person, $ 20 for 2 to get your documents notarized. The people are nice and friendly. Our Notarizer guy messed up our document though but he had his own official notarized document. I hope our license is ok. haha.
They also seem to a lot of mailing type of business.

Quick Tip: Across the street from LA Fitness, same plaza as Ralphs
Visited this location last night to get legal documents notarized. The gentlemen was really nice and friendly. Notary service cost $ 10.
I do want to mention this place was very clean and neat. Everything was perfectly organized.

This business just opened. They have grand opening specials for all of your photocopying, mailing, and office supply needs! Go visit them. They are located next to Ralphs and AAA off Main Street…
