I usually write good reviews, but not in this case. I hear they are closing. Let me tell you why. The main reason is unfriendly customer service. Used to trade here, quit a long time ago. They acted like they were doing you a privilege to wait on you. Do not deny they had some good deli products, loved their roast beef. Good prices, but the employees or managers were not very customer friendly. Anyway, after numerous similar experiences I just would not do business with these guys. They are rude, narrow, you get the drift? The only friendly employee they fired. They know nothing about custormer relations and I hope they don’t get back in business, due to their rude service. I am not talking about one bad experience, but time-after-time, they proved themselves to be ______________. They shouldn’t ever be in business, at least not in the USA.

**Closed** =( I really liked the breakfast burritos and sandwiches and lunch items as well. All of the food they made was really good and they made it quickly as well. It was a nice place to go to then get back to work. Unfortunately the complex owner raised their rent too high and this business owner was forced to leave. The complex owner also said something to the effect that this liquor store«didn’t serve the community» anymore. It is very sad. Not sure where this liquor store owner will move to but wish them all the luck.

***STORE&DELICLOSED/MOVED*** Loved this place! Great hot foods and awesome little store! So sad to see that they are indeed closed. If anyone knows the place they moved to and can share the address/location, I’d be very appreciative and others would be just as grateful, I’m sure. Come back to us Deli Peeps! My friends!

This is the perfect neighborhood deli but they also have various sundries, liquor, ice cream, etc. I went in today and found out the deli is closing as of Monday! I couldn’t believe it! This is a family run business and they are the nicest people. I guess the landlord has other ideas. Hopefully they will find a new location nearby soon and I will, once again, be a loyal customer!

This place is amazing, great prices, good beer/liquor selection, great food/deli, great owners, really part of the AV community. They have worked hard inventorying everything you could want. Go and visit, you’ll be amazed at the breakfast burritos and or the BLT. Soooo good! Enjoy

I have been consistently getting my breakfast burritos from there and very sad that the quality and size has gone done. 1. I ordered a burrito with chorizo AND bacon, came to work and they left out the bacon, plus I found a plastic film in my burrito but I figured it was a fluke and didn’t think about it. 2. I came again a few weeks later and ordered same burrito except now it’s SUPER dinky in size… again… disappointed. Also I think I was charged more but there was a line behind me and I was already dismissed so I felt like it was silly to argue but still! A breakfast burrito is $ 4.49, add extra meat is $ 1. I paid $ 6.47…last time I paid $ 5.93(I know this b/c I looked at my bank statement to make sure I wasn’t a loony… but then again looking at my bank statement just to prove this point is kind of loony in itself haha) ughhh I just hate it when business’ do stuff like that. Disappointing, will not return, not like it matters.

Been going here since for years now. Owned by a super nice family with friendly helpful workers. Very clean facility as well !! The sandwiches and breakfast burrito are AMAZING and at a good price, alcohol selection is nice and at a bargain. Overall this deli is my favorite and I recommend it to everyone !!!

Don’t expect much more than a sandwich counter and liquor store with a little market, but their sandwiches and breakfast burritos are the bomb! so if you need a quick bite, don’t hesitate to try them out…

OK… so you walk into what is essentially a liquor store and you discover that: A) It smells REALLY bad and B) It’s really dirty. I thought I’d check this place out based on the Unilocal reviews; could be the last time I do that. I was here on a Sunday afternoon and it looked as though they weren’t even set up to make sandwiches? Maybe they don’t do that on weekend afternoons? In any case, there was no way I was ordering anything from this place that didn’t come in a factory-sealed container. I bought a Dasani bottled water and left. Don’t waste your time with this place if cleanliness is something you value.

Great little deli that sells a ton of booze. Win win. Sandwich specials are killer, usually $ 4.99. I love this place, but it is basically a liquor store that sells sandwiches so I won’t rate above a 3.

This is a great market to get last minute things which I tend to often lol This a family owned business I love them all they are the nicest people you can find they actually ask you how you are, remember as a customer which is hard to find these days. Its an amazing place to go to and genuine people that work there I find that outstanding !

Was in the mood for a sandwich and not subway. Found this place on Unilocal and checked it out. The sandwich was delicious! No complaints here

From the outside, it looks like your average(okay, slightly above average) liquor store. You get your chips, your liquor and your cigarettes. However, once you go inside, you come across a deli counter with a decent menu, including sandwiches(Boar’s Head products!), salads, burritos, tacos, burgers and breakfast. There’s also a semi-decent selection of vegetarian items. It’s definitely popular with the locals who work and live here as there’s definitely a line at lunchtime. The meats are all pre-cooked, such as bacon and carnitas, as are the burrito ingredients of rice and beans, but your hot sandwiches and burgers are made to order. Considering they share a plaza with a Subway’s, I would highly recommend that you just come here instead, despite the slightly longer wait. The prices are not bad with sandwiches coming in under $ 5 and burgers(including fries, I believe) at around $ 5 – 6. Choices of bread include squaw, sourdough and your usual wheat or white. It’s actually pretty good bread and you can buy a whole loaf to go, if it’s in stock. The person working the grill is super nice and offered me a sample of bacon(random!) while I was waiting for my order because it was fresh and crispy! I’m all about presentation and I liked the fact that the sandwiches are cut neat in half and comes on a Styrofoam tray with plastic wrap to prevent leaking and smelliness, unlike Subway’s with the soggy paper wrapper. Since it’s part of a liquor store, you get the extra bonus of having the option of a six-pack of beer or a family size bag of chips to go with your sandwich. You can also fill out your Lotto tickets while you’re waiting.

This place is awesome! I come in a lot to use the ATM and finally decided to actually SHOP there. Great selection of beers and wines, although I do wish they had more individual beers and malt beverages for sale. Just got a sandwich, still eating it… it’s really, REALLY good. There’s a little place in Dana Point where I usually go if I want a sandwich and has been my favorite sandwich shop for around 15 years. Uh oh. They just got topped. I got a turkey, bacon(awesomely crispy), avocado, on squaw bread, with sprouts and it is AWESOME. Perfect portion of everything… a big sandwich, but not overloaded with any one thing in particular. And not too bad on price, either.

Booze, damn good sandwiches, and excedrin: yes please! I am all about this local joint. All the meats and cheeses are of excellent quality, and I like that you see the same people everyday. I also like that you can pick up really great and unusual brands of adult beverages while they are making your delish sandwich.

A place where you can pick up some Capt. Morgan, the latest issue of your favorite tattoo magazine AND a damned good sandwich? Sign me up. The Aliso Creek Market pretty much has it all, but I go there primarily for their sandwiches and breakfast burritos, which are all made on the spot. The meats and cheeses are all Boar’s Head brand so you know your sandwich is going to be pretty tasty. The menu is on the big board behind the counter. You can choose to build your own sandwich or just pick one of the combinations like the Italian. You can get double meat for another buck or so. The breakfast burritos are pretty good, too. Fresh eggs(not poured from a container), hash browns, cheese and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. The salsa is surprisingly good and packs a little kick. For more heat, they have packets of Tapatio hot sauce para llevar. Bonus: they almost always have a soccer game playing on the big screen TV above the counter, which gives you something to mindlessly watch while you’re waiting for your food. This is a great place to go for breakfast(or lunch) if you’re tired of the same ol’ same ol’.

I didn’t feel like eating in our company café and didn’t feel like driving anywhere either, so I walked to the deli yesterday for lunch. This was my second trip to the deli. I initially was gonna head to the Subway(which is around the corner in the same little plaza), but that would involve taking another 10 steps. So, lazy me wanders into the deli. The lady takes my order, and I wait. A few minutes later, my order is called, and this dude(who I assume is the owner), looks at me and asks, «You pay already?» Gotta love that«service»! I was nervous he’d have a cow when he saw me head to the soda fountain after I took my(paid for) sandwich. @_@ Anyway, the sandwiches are good. I like that they wrap it up in Saran wrap, which makes it easy to take on the go. It’s a little odd having the deli and liquor store in one place, but hey, I’ve had Mexican food that’s built into the gas station. So, I guess it’s not too strange.

— Locale destination — It’s in out of no where… Unless you live or work around there, you wouldn’t find it… It’s a little deli. Nothing looks special but the sandwich is worth your visit if you’re near by. — Gluttony expedition — Bill’s Special: Great! Nice and fresh. Sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato, and bacon! It’s big. French fries: It’s like the ones from Mexican restaurant, which means great! I’m a big fan of French fries. I believe they use lard… I know it’s fatty but makes the taste so great… — Conqueror’s deduction — Good sandwich. I was wondering 3 ½ or 4… I should say 3 ½ just because the location isn’t so convenient for me…
