Firehouse Subs

I’ve been looking for a great Meatball Sub Sandwich and Firehouse Subs was so good, I ate the whole sandwich, instead of just eating half. Now I want to go get another!

I been craving sandwiches more these days. May be its the summer and more sunlight. I absolutely love Firehouse Subs. I know when I like my sandwich, and I can tell you the first bite, I knew its a real deal! I got the large club on sub sandwich, which was about 11 $. but I had half for lunch, and saved rest for dinner. anyways. Best Sandwiches!!!

I ate here for the first time today. Absolutely delicious sandwiches. Very friendly staff. This is a perfect lunch spot. Fast, friendly and accurate. This place will put subway out of biz! See you again soon guys!

I would like to thank Firehouse Subs for generously donating sandwiches to support UC Irvine — Pi Kappa Alpha’s Fireman’s Challenge, a philanthropy raising money to support the Orange County Fire Authority Benevolent Association. The OCFABA gives aid to families of fallen firefighters, so teaming up with Firehouse Sub’s seemed like the ideal situation.
The manager that I spoke to was so excited to help in any way. He had a desire to give back to some of the men that helped start the chain in the first place. Teaming up with several stores, Firehouse Sub’s generously donated 150 sandwiches, free of cost.
And I promise I am not saying this because they helped out our event, but these sandwiches were delicious. All the attendees were expecting some pretty basic sandwiches to hold off our hunger for a few hours. But these sandwiches exceeded our expectations.
The bread was soft and fresh and a little sweet to complement the savory ham and turkey. There was a good amount of meat on the sub, but not too much to where it takes over the whole sandwich. Even the lettuce came in a perfect amount to add a nice crunch to every bite.
We at Pi Kappa Alpha are all thankful for the support of Firehouse Subs and are glad to have a new favorite sandwich shop in town.

Great hot sandwiches. Generous portions for not a lot of money. yummy bread. Lots of hot sauce options. Friendly people. I like sitting outside when the weather’s nice.

My sandwich was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and squared away. It was my fist time here. I will check it out again!

Went yesterday for a early dinner, requested the Turkey/​Bacon/​Ranch combo. Was only charged for the Sandwich, so no combo, «because he was inexperienced with the register.»
Sigh… Fine, didn’t need the extra stuff anyways. Took forever to get my sandwich and the place was mostly empty.
Poured some Datil sauce onto it for a spicy ranch flavor. It was better than the other «yellow» sub place but I sort of expected more…

Too bad they used stale bread for our subs. I wondered why they kept asking if we wanted hot subs.

hmm this place is pretty bomb, a lot better than Subway or other generic sandwitch locations. I ordered the club on a sub, which has turkey, bacon, melted cheese and other goodies in it. After ordering through Eat24, my sub was ready to be picked up right when I got there. The sub was pretty filling, as I got the large size, which cost around 10 dollars. The sub tasted delicious and the bread was soft. The sauce was also quite good but it made the bread kind of soggy. Although this place will cost you more than subway, the improvement in quality is def worth it. I will be coming back here to try their other items someday !

This place can put any Subway sandwich to shame and leave them burnt. And just for that I have compiled a list of super bad and I mean bad pun-​ny, corny, not to be used ever for their marketing campaign.

My fiancé’ ordered the cheese beef and brisket sandwich and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the turkey verde sandwich and that was good as well. Overall the food was good but a little pricey.

love Firehouse subs. I’ve had the hook & ladder sandwich and the italian sub here and both didn’t disappoint. both were delicious!

I had my baby at the nearby hospital and Unilocaled to look for a nearby restaurant because I was tired of the bland hospital food. One night hubby went out to get me this and I devoured it down like a starved maniac. The sandwich was warm, soft, gooey and AMAZING. His was dang good as well. We’ve since tried a bunch of other sandwiches and you really can’t go wrong with ANY of them. I love that they have a variety of sauce selections and you can pour them in little containers and take them to go. Service is super friendly here. My only complaint is during lunch hour it can be almost impossible to find parking but it’s not in their control so oh well!

Great sandwiches! I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I had the hook and ladder light with regular mayo and it was yummy and the bread was soft. I would definitely go there and eat again.

Delicious subs and sandwiches! I usually do catering orders here and they’ve nailed it. Tony makes it very easy and the office is happy! Thanks Tony and the team at the Laguna Woods location. We love your subs!
I recommend this place for Lunch or Catering! Deluxe Platters as well as individual Sandwich orders are perfectly priced and portioned.

Really good food. Fast service. Decent prices. They’re all friendly. The young lady Katelyn was very helpful and informative. She helped me choose the engine sandwich which I guess isn’t on the menu anymore but still available to make. I’d definitely come back again

Good food. Very affordable. Great taste and very nice employees. Has nice outdoor seating area. Good for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

I got the turkey salad and paid for double turkey. When I got to *bucks and set up, I was pretty disappointed with the amount of turkey included in the $ 9.24(?) double turkey salad. Looking at the other sandwiches in the image list makes me feel like they forgot it. I didn’t go back and ask for clarification because I had set up my laptop, backpack, and drink at *bucks next door and I would have had to repack everything.
On the plus side, it was a nice, fresh, healthy, and tasty salad. Probably half to 1 full star above the equivalent at Subway. Staff were nice and patient with me while I waded through the menu. If I could give an extra half-​star to this rating, I would.

I drove by this place all the time going to my doctors office while I was pregnant. Man, I wish I had stopped here sooner! Their subs are delicious. I always get the club and the ham is to die for. I seriously made my husband go here three days in a row. If you’re looking for sandwiches and don’t want to go to the typical chain like Subway or Togo’s, then this is your place.

4.5+! Wow, I found a great sandwich shop (thanks to Unilocal!)! Thankfully, the other sandwich shops I’d bookmarked were closed; otherwise, I wouldn’t have discovered Firehouse Subs.
The place is very casual, but appreciatively clean; the staff quickly greeted me, and was friendly. I like that the menu included descriptions and pictures. I ordered a Brisket and Cheddar as well as a Chicken Bacon Ranch; both were generous in size, satisfyingly warm, and SO flavorful; the soft sandwich roll and the mayonnaise, another dressing, and/​or sauces that separates these sandwiches from other stiff, dry, and bland sandwiches I’ve had. Loved these — and looking forward to returning, very soon!
