Fun decorative atmosphere, and really good selection of fresh meats and veggies to design your own Hispanic-inspired dishes. A good choice for casual and healthy lunch and dinner.

I’m very disappointed. We just got here to have dinner like we have a thousand times and was greeted with a brand new menu. It was a pain trying to pick a burrito since my favorite steak burrito with black beans and rice with Pico de gallo is no longer on the menu. There are two others that are kinda like it but not really. Won’t be coming back… which is really sad. Another piece of the past, gone forever.

Fabulous new menu here with lots of healthy choices. Indoor outdoor seating in an outdoor mall near the movie theaters. Quick service and pleasant staff. Just ordered the Paleo bowl to go, with choice of two proteins. Be sure to get the Wahoo app and have it scanned with each order to get points towards free appetizers and meals.

Wahoos needs to seriously revamp it’s menu. And take a closer more concerned approach to the preparation and delivery of it’s food. Used to be «the» go to place, now there are so many other outstanding options. And Wahoos just isn’t outstanding as it once was. Bring back Jesse!

I was here on a Saturday night, just before watch a movie. It wasn’t very busy, yet the service was subpar. They had only one register open, which made the line go out the door. The food could have been better also.

The chicken tasted like rubber. I got the red wet burrito, yuck! Don’t like their food. Gave it a couple try’s. No thank you.

First off, an army of rats came out of the kitchen and one of the cooks went and caught them and put them out side. The staff started screaming from all the crazy commotion making all the customers extremely uncomfortable. I have never seen this many RATS in one place at any time in my ENTIRE life. Oh and when they caught the rats, the employees would laugh and joke around throwing them to each other like a game of hot potato. Btw Parking was ATROCIOUS

This place was meh. My husband got a wet burrito and it was basically soaked in some sort of creamy, cilantro dressing. It was also about 95% rice and beans and very little meat. I’m generally not picky about food but my salad was just all around unremarkable. The steak was good but there was basically none of it. We probably won’t be back.

I love wahoos! Their food is fresh and made to order. I got the shrimp citrus slaw tacos skinny. They were delicious, don’t miss the Mr less sauce which is the perfect kind of spicy. We also ordered the churro chips… They were a crispy piece of cinnamon heaven in your mouth! A definite must buy!

This is a great restaurant the service here is always delightful. Employees really know what they’re doing and always provide exceptional customer service I have been coming here for 15 years and have never been disappointed. Maria is always helpful when serving food and answering questions and helping everybody in the restaurant.

Wahoo’s contacted me after my last review and since then my Wahoo’s visits have improved. Still not my favorite Wahoo’s location, but it satisfies my #1 with lots of Mr. Lee’s craving. Thanks Wahoo’s!

We have lived in Aliso Viejo for 7 years and have eaten here consistently. The food and service has always been great! Recently they changed the meat and rice they use and the steak was terrible! They were stingy with napkins and the app to download for the free wahoos meal took 10 mins. We won’t be back and we won’t take clients here anymore. The service and food has gone downhill and it is disappointing!

Got a Maui bowl that had a pound of beans and rice 1 gram worth of scrap meat, the guacamole and salsa had been cryogenically frozen and was like biting into an ice cube.

The last 2 times I came I ordered the Grilled Veggie Wet Burrito with half red/green sauce. I keep forgetting they put teriyaki sauce or something on the veggies lol so I go to bite into it and am like«oh yeah». Its a weird combo to me so I just ate the veggies out of the burrito because they taste so good. Next time I’ll just get the bowl since the mix of teriyaki and Mexican is a little weird for my taste buds. But everything is so tasty I don’t mind my mistake and just eat it in parts. The service here is good and their always helpful with my questions at the register and their pico de gallo is so yummy! If you love teriyaki veggies you’ll prob love Wahoo’s. The atmosphere is a cool laid back Cali surfer skater type vibe. I’ll be back for a bowl next time.

The go to place for a healthier, tasty quick lunch or dinner. Kids chicken and rice bowl is a healthy meal for the young ones. Another healthy favorite, especially around Lent, is the Fast Break Burrito(formerly the 3 minute burrito) with fish. Either grilled or blackened if you want a little more spice. I prefer the Maui Bowl or Banzai Burrito with carne asada. The light teriyaki sauce on the veggies mix well with the rice and black beans. Also, get the featured Beer of the Month. It’s the best deal on beer and always a good choice to wash down the meal.

Unless you are a regular, your business means nothing. I went in today just before 11. Literally, the only customer in the restaurant and ordered 2 burritos, a salmon bowl and a kids meal. They told me 10 minutes. As I waited, the Fish Friday lunch rush started to trickle in. As I watched regulars come in, order, and leave with there food, I began to get frustrated over the wait. After 15 minutes and serving several other customers that came in after me, I went up to the counter to find out where my food was. They had not even started my ticket, it was completely skipped so that their regulars could be served first. I waited almost 30 minutes for a fast food quality lunch. I will never return to this place. Rubios is just a little farther down the street with higher quality food and more professional customer service.

I’ve been coming to this Wahoo’s for over 10 years now, and it’s easily the best place to eat it the town center. I’ve never had an order come out wrong or poorly cooked and even in the crazy rushes they get nothing takes longer than 15 minutes to get to your table(the line tends to move pretty fast too) there also plenty of complimentary light reading at the front for the short waits like the OC Weekly and other local publications.

Quality has diminished quite a bit. Every year for Lent we hit Wahoos for their shrimp burrito. In years past its always been something to look forward to, now not so much. The burrito was very small, the tortilla mushy and the couple pieces of shrimp had no taste. Boo Hoo for Wahoo

The chicken tortilla soup with avocado is SOGOOD! It’s by far my favorite thing on the menu. It’s got a really good spice to it(so if you don’t like spicy, you might not like this soup). And it’s a really good option if you are trying to eat healthy, it’s super low cal(around 100 calories). If you hadn’t had it before, you have to try it!
