Used to eat here all the time when the previous owners had it. We have ordered carry out quite a bit with the new owners and everytime we get it there is something cooked wrong or something left out of the bag. The cole slaw used to be delicious, it’s not anymore… very dry tasting and last time it had hard pieces of something in it. The mashed potatoes used to be good but now lacked flavor and I felt the chicken was very dry compared to before. I will not be going back. After years of going in or ordering carry out, I will be finding somewhere new to get boasted chicken.

Chicken is fresh and good ! But heydays trick your customers for paying more! indeed a dollar more means nothing but not when you are tricked or misled ! It’s a big deal ! Chicken is good but be careful they said a two piece chicken is 3.39 either dark or white them when they charge your card they will add 25% more for having a breast and a wing ! What a scam !!

It really is the best ever. Consistently good. I liked the new additions to the menu. The chicken is as good now add it was with the previous owners.

This place used to be great, they changed ownership within the last year and it is not as good now. The chicken was very dry, and the breading is now different, a lot saltier than before. Have to find a new broasted chicken place now, they should of kept the old breading recipe.

Read the reviews and wanted to support local business so I thought I would give it a try. What a mistake! Ordered takeout all dark meat«Small Barrel» which was to consist of 4 thighs and 4 legs was asked if I wanted fries with that, Because one side came with order. I thought this was a broasted restaurant? What I got was a greasy brown paper bag which when I got home and opened consisted of mostly White meat, which I do not like and a watery pint size container of cold slaw which had no flavor. The reason the bag was so greasy… The take out container consisted of two dollar store paper plates stapled together trying to hold 8 pieces of chicken, which I remind you was the wrong type of meat, then to add insult to injury the white meat was so dry to be inedible. Don’t waste your time, money or appetite, go to another place for your chicken

Chicken and fish are the stars of the show, cooked perfectly with a light simple breading. Broasted potatoes were just thick wedges, try Chicken Shack for the best broasted cubes around. Every meal comes with a boring but fresh baked plain white roll. Their green beans are also fresh but boiled with zero seasoning or flavor. Please give this small local business a try!

Not a wing joint, not sure why it’s in that catagory. They only sell wings for catering.

Excellent chicken. Friendly people. My co-workers and I frequently have chicken buffets and their’s is better than Chicken Shack. They are closed the last 2 weeks of August every year for vacation.

I cannot believe there is not a review for Wish Bone yet!!! This place has some of the best broasted chicken ever. I try to avoid eating here too often due to the weight gain that would ensue if I allowed myself to indulge in this chicken whenever I wanted. The restaurant is a long diner, typical diner type crowd… just more of it. Around dinner the place fills up pretty quickly, and the noise level increases every 20 minutes after 5 oclock. They all come in for this amazing chicken which is being turned out non-stop on 2 preasure cookers behind the counter. It is family owned, and if I am not mistaken half of the family hangs out in the resaurant. The side dishes are just normal, nothing really stood out too much. The bread pudding is above average, and I had never had a broasted potato before. With niche places you should be going there for their specialty anyways so I wasn’t expecting much. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars based on the chicken alone is because they lack hot sauce… what kind of chicken joint doesn’t have hot sauce?
