It’s right around the corner from my house, so it’s pretty convenient to drop in and order a couple slices for the kids and I. As with most places I dine, this place is pretty consistent. Whether I’m ordering a slice of pizza, or a sauce covered Stromboli, the food is always fantastic. I gotta be honest, I’ve never been overwhelmed by the service from this place; I feel like sometimes when I visit here, the kids that work here think they are doing me a favor. They aren’t rude, just not super friendly and more so into their own conversation than the customer. Again, they don’t do anything offensive, it’s just a bit underwhelming if I’m being honest. My last visit here, the kid taking my ordered answered the phone while I was ordering. He didn’t say hold on please, he just held up his finger(kind of a hold on 1 sec gesture) and answered the phone. He then had a long winded person with a lot of questions, so I had to wait. I understand they are just kids, but c’mon mannnnnnn… The service issue honestly is not bad enough that I won’t come back, I’m here often; I just wish they would work a little on the communication and smile thing. Back to the food. My kids love this place, which is the primary reason I’m here so often. Anytime my wife has plans and it’s just me and the kids, I know they are going to ask for Brooklyns. There’s not a lot of options in the area when it’s time to dine, so if you’re looking for a quick slice

This is a really cool pizza place that has an enormous variety to choose from. My 4 year old who is a very picky eater loves the pizza here.

Decent pizza pie, I got the meat lovers, it was a bit heavy. The salad was good and service very good at this casual family friendly restaurant.

$ 40 for two speciality 14″ pizzas. Felt like Grimaldi’s pricing but fell short on taste. Would go again, but only with special discounts/offers/coupons.

Sure are proud$$$$ of their pizzas. Otherwise they are good. Don’t do a lot of ordering from them due to price.

My favorite pizza in Allen. The meat and cheeses they use taste like fresh higher quality products. They are a little pricy and in the past when we dined on the owner would come around and visit which was always a nice touch. I’ve not seen him in a while and the employees that take orders and work the register now don’t seem to care as much as some I’ve encountered over the past 8yrs as a customer. Hope it’s still the same owner and maybe some management motivation to those at the front might go along way to restoring that friendlier encounter I previously recall. Bottom line: pretty good pizza and my 1st local choice in Allen.

Meh. Calzone is big but boring, Stromboli is big but boring, pizza is big but boring. All food feels like it doesn’t have salt.

One thing sucks: stupid pricing discrepancies. NEVER order a create your own and add more than 2 toppings– heavily modify a speciality pizza instead. It can easily save you $ 10…its crazy stupid how they have it set up. And Dont say«add» say«change» or youll get royally raped on the bill. Youd think after 20 yrs theyd have a «any 3 topping» price but no. It pisses me off to no end, but ill be damned if they dont serve up a helluva NY slice! If you love a NYC Slice… this is your place. This is the best NY style pizza joint in Big-D. And since NY pizza is my favorite, that makes this place the best pizza in the metroplex as far as I’m concerned.

When this place was brand new, they were so good. Brooklyn’s was our go to pizza joint. Now, since they’ve expanded, their quality isn’t as good. We always order half Bronx Italiano and half Manhattan veggie, but we just ordered from them yesterday and it was seriously lacking in freshness. I think for the price, they need to step up their quality, otherwise, they’re still going to be painfully empty like I’ve seen the past few times I’ve came in. And they used to be so packed during dinner time.

Not cheap price-wise, but cheap-tasting… The worst of both worlds, sadly. We got a pizza that had(among other toppings) pineapple. It tasted like they were dumped on cold from a can after the pizza was out of the oven. The crust is pretty decent, but their ingredients leave a lot to be desired. If you want cheap, but tasty, do Domino’s If you want really good tasting pizza but don’t mind a bit of a premium price, go with Grimaldi’s or Crazy Tomato.

Great Pizza! I’m from New York, and it tasted almost as good. I think they are a bit pricey however. I ordered take out on a Friday night and it was super fast and still hot when I picked it up. A large pie only has 6 slices and cost me about $ 15. But like I said, it is good pizza so I am paying for the quality. I will def. be back again since they are right down the road from me. Very pleased.

Really good pizza but that’s about all. The pizza here is constantly delicious. There pasta is not that good. I manage a local businesses when I try to order pizza for my crew they refuse to take a corporate company good as gold check. Not to happy about that I would say they have lost at least $ 500 plus dollars in business sense January. All that is going to there competition. Shame because we’re willing to pay for better pizza. Anyway if you want a good pizza this place is worth a shot. They are not business to business friendly.

Ordered take out on a Saturday night about 8:30. The place was dead for a restaurant; not a single soul in there. I guess everyone orders out. I ordered the Bronx Italian and Hudson Hawaiian. The crust was surprisingly delicious! I will come back here for future pizza orders. Notice they have a sweet lunch deal: 7 dollars for a slice, a salad, and a soda. This is right next door to my work so I will def check it out for lunch.

Pizza is super good, don’t get me wrong. But to boast that service is slow and prices are unreasonably high just doesn’t make sense. I was in NYC and had a good slice for 99cents. This place is insanely expensive. ‘Pay us $ 3 a slice a wait 10 minutes for us to get your food off the counter’?? Interesting business model

I can’t see how anyone gave Brooklyn’s any higher than 2 stars. I have tried them on and off for the last few years and they are hit or miss. I am from Brooklyn, NY so I know my pizza and it wouldn’t be fair to compare that to them, but I will say that they are the closest to a true Brooklyn pizza. Now why give them two stars? Like I said, hit or miss; I recently ordered 3 meatballs, a side salad and a family lasagna, I have been charged everything from $ 38 to $ 50, depending on the day of the week it seems. The lasagna was nearly completely pasta, you would need a microscope to find the meat; even the cheese was lacking and pretty much tasteless. I truly wish they were consistent and fairly priced, but they are neither, just my two cents.

First time ordering delivery and the pizza was just not what we were expecting. If you like a thick crust this is the pizza for you. We had their chopped Italian salad and I feel I could have made a better salad with fresh ham and salami. We won’t be ordering again just not our type of pizza.

Delicious pizza! Fresh toppings, sauce, fresh cheeses and a sumptuous yet thin crust all add up to a tasty pizza! We ordered two 16″ pizzas for 6 adults and three kids(6−8yo). We went with the: — The Manhattan Veggie: green peppers, spinach, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes — The Five Boroughs: substituted canadian bacon for extra sausage so was covered with pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. The pizzas were huge– more than enough for our group! And they were DELICIOUS!!! Believe it or not, pizza is my least favorite meal. I was thrilled at how tasty and delicious this pizza was! Shocked, actually, at how fresh the pizza toppings appeared– the vegetables were cooked perfectly– not mushy or wilted looking. But bright, vibrant and beckoning to be devoured! Definitely ordering from here the next time we are in town!

The pizza was REALLY good. Thin crust, which I prefer. We ordered a large pizza and a family-sized salad. $ 35. But you get what you pay for. I am not complaining because I understand that you have to pay for quality. I was particularly impressed with the house italian salad dressing. I am assuming it’s homemade and it was oh so delicious. The pizza was the best i’ve had in Dallas with the exception of Scalini’s. I will definitely be going back. The customer service was just ok.

I love this place. I love the food. I dont think I have ever had anything that I did not like. My favorite is the Italian chop salad and there Pizza. Look at there menu they have great selection of Italian food. Many places claim that they are New York style but Brooklyn’s delivers on that. I am from the tri state area and there is no one that come close to NY pizza in TX other than Brooklyn’s I started eating at this location but they opened in Sachse which is closer to home so that is were I go most of the time. I never miss an opportunity to eat there…

I so take-outs from Brooklyn’s at least once a month. Their pizzas are quite tasty with fresh toppings and the right ratio of cheese and sauce. If alone, I usually get the cheese slice eat in at the restaurant itself. There are always critics to whether their pizza is NY style or not, have good reviews and bad… for me, its tasty, its affordable and I am all for it. Plus they carry Cream Soda, which goes nicely with the Cheese PIe.
