This is a good place to have serious conversations. I recommend sitting in the corner and eating a donut. If you have good news or bad news this is the perfect place to do it. It’s quiet not too crowded, making it the perfect place to talk.

Been to different local coffee shops in the DFW area and this is the first that served me Americano that comparably tasted like watered down brewed coffee(not even extremely watered down espresso). I had to throw the rest of my drink after a few sips(as I wanted to make sure it was palatable). The 1 star is for the regular kolaches I ordered. I asked them to be warmed and it tasted fresh. Spacious place to study at, plenty electrical outlets, but it was just the drink that made it an experience that has ruined the chances of coming back.

Loved it! Met a friend here after looking for a good, comfortable place to sit and relax and catch up. The sofa was comfy. I had the caramel cinnamon apple cider, and it was amazing! On the way out, I bought an egg salad croissant and found it to be pretty good. When I am in the area or looking for a place to meet someone, I will definitely recommend this place to whomever I am with and whomever I am meeting. Thank you.

This is a weird place. But this weird place has several things going for it. And I say weird because of its look and vibe. It looks like they got some furniture a at a garage sale at some office park. And from the other garage sale. The furnitures don’t match, and not in a good way. And couple it with some landscape mural… It’s just weird. So Jordan, why did you come here after all? Well, I was looking for donuts. And I never realized how hard it was to find donuts anywhere in North Dallas in the afternoon. D*** my sweet tooth. Another gripe about you Dallas — with all your donut shops in town, do they all have to close before 1 pm? All of them? Really? Well this place flatly says no. And I concur. Anyways, other things going for this place: — spacious, plenty of tables and chairs and even another room. Good for studying and working. — full menu of coffee, loose leaf tea, kolaches(regular and croissant), donuts(glazed, bear claw, chocolate, etc), smoothies, boba tea and more(save me the trouble and just look at their menu online lol) — friendly service Now if only there’s more places like this one. And maybe a tad bit less weird. :)a

I have been going to Caffe Promenade ever since the business was established. The coffee menu is vast and they even serve smoothies and bobba tea. They also have a awesome selection of pastries and other baked goods. If your looking for delicious coffee without breaking your bank at a local Starbucks, this is the place for you. Oh and they also have a drive-through which is convenient if you’re in a rush.

Shop owner drives away customers! After taking my order she denied a pretty young employee WATER for arriving late to work, and took her into the back room to shriek at her. The few horrified customers inside left quickly, myself included. Stick to Starbucks down the street from«Caffe» promenade. The fancy name and décor dont make up for the madly overpriced Java and rude Chinese manager/owner with LOUD piercing voice. I’ve never felt so overcharged, and even though I used to get the same thing each time, it always cost something different. I agree with Ernesto, Raul, and Lily: plenty of empty chairs thanks to the korean lady behind the counter. She pretends to be nice until you pay her.

This place is perfect. There aren’t many cafes like this is DFW. It has huge plush and homey couches, office chairs around tables for comfort while you study, and even a private quiet room with individual desks. It’s a clean, gorgeous, quiet, large space that’s ideal for hanging out or studying and productivity. Not to mention the always fresh donuts! Tip: wifi comes with purchase

Pros: — wide variety of drinks(coffee, lattes, smoothies, boba!) — munchies too(muffins, donuts, breakfast items) — variety of seating(comfortable couches, tables with outlets, high chairs) — décor and aesthetic is beautiful!!** — chill music — fast wifi — good place to study(save for that loud bell…) Cons: — the loud ringing bell when someone is at the drive thru(really distracts me if I’m trying to study.) — $ 5 min for credit cards — music can be hit or miss(one time, I felt like I was in a disco place) Also, every time I’ve been here it seems like it’s more suitable for studying and working. Everyone is usually quiet and doing their own business.(Or this could be because I’ve never come in the evenings?) I would love to hang with friends here, but I’d feel uncomfortable breaking the silence. I’ve tried their iced green tea latte. Pretty good but it does have a slight powdery taste. I also had their pineapple orange muffin. Wasn’t too crazy about the strong orange taste(to be expected though haha).

I love this place. It was my favorite place to study, my favorite place for donuts, my favorite place to meet up with friends, and my all-time only favorite place for milk tea! Hands down, better than Starbucks!

This place is awesome. I was looking for a place where I could get in a couple of hours of work on my laptop and I found it here. Awesome service and I had a super productive day due to the setting. While there’s plenty of coffee shops in Plano for me, I’ll drive here from now on because none of them can touch this place for comfort, atmosphere and productivity!

We were heading to the outlet mall and were craving for some coffee. This place was a Unilocal find and I’m glad we came in here. They sell a variety of drinks, not just coffee. They have smoothies and bubble tea too. They also have doughnuts and kolaches! The place looked really cool — almost had like a outdoorsy feel with cabin roofs on top of the tables. It’s a nice little place to go to to get some work done. I had the iced caramel latte and it was really good; boyfriend got the café latte and it was pretty bland. It’s a nice local coffee shop and way better than starbucks.

Lovely hot chocolate. Came on a Thursday evening to study and was pleasantly surprised how quiet and cozy it is. Lots of tables. Comfy couches galore. Even a full on table with executive chairs and outlets for your devices.

First, I so wanted this to be an awesome coffee café close to home. The place has a cool, comfortable vibe. Jazz music playing in the background. That’s where it stopped being cool. The lady behind the counter(who I assume was the owner or manager) spoke very LOUDLY. The coffee is one one flavor, but they will add syrup. Ugh. The coffee was burnt. I ordered an banana muffin. When I got it, it had NO smell. Felt like it came from a dollar store. Final straw; I speed tested the wifi and got 1.5 Mbps. Couldn’t connect to do any work or anything else on web. Just left after that. Won’t go back. Bummer

My choice today was regular coffee and two mini doughnuts. The atmosphere is quite different. Missed matched furniture, yet comfortable. Mountain mural all around. Cool coffee bean murals by the comfy couches. Turn off! The women’s voice attending the counter. High pitched and hard to understand at times. Second turn off! Charged for a refill on coffee! Plain coffee, not a latte or cappuccino. Charged $ 1.13

This coffee house has the most interesting atmosphere ever. It looks like a huge art project of an interesting mountain scene painting. They have wifi and plenty of plugs so it’s a pretty good place to study. Make sure to bring cash because they have a $ 5 minimum on cards. I ordered the chai tea latte and I don’t recommend it. I personally didn’t like the flavor. I also ordered the bourbon vanilla tea. It was also mediocre. They have donuts and food options. I really like the atmosphere of this coffee place. Next time I go back I’ll pick different drinks.

What a great place to come, sit and enjoy. Although I didn’t have time to do that on this trip, I was there to grab breakfast and coffee to go, but I look forward to coming back. There’s a large table with a fire pit like strip down the table. The walls are painted and created for a forest-y theme and there are plenty of cozy seats amongst the tables and chairs. I ordered; chocolate cake donut, chocolate glazed donut, egg & potato breakfast burrito, sausage/egg/cheese biscuit and a coffee. I walked away for $ 10, not bad! The donuts were super yummy and the coffee was good too. The breakfast burrito and biscuit were not our favorites. The biscuit was super small, smaller than an egg mcmuffin, and my hubby’s pretty sure it was a Jimmy Dean biscuit(see photo). I’m gonna be harsher with my thoughts of breakfast burrito as I’m used to Southern California breakfast burritos. It was a decent size(see photo), but the eggs were soggy and had an odd taste. It was edible, but I probably won’t order it again. Everyone was so friendly, and the service was wonderful. Yes, they have a drive thru, but it’s for coffee & donuts only! I’m sure we’ll be back for coffee and donuts frequently.

This used to be the Escape café that was an obvious knock-off of Starbucks(including a circular green logo) but Promenade has taken over and kept all of the good stuff(bubble tea, donuts/breakfast pastries, coffee) but identified themselves as a unique brand. I love how unique this place is for Allen and I always get consistently great service every time I stop in, and I am particularly partial to their Almond Milk Tea with boba. Mmmmm, so good!

I really don’t understand why everyone’s raving about this place. The customer service and ambiance is great but that’s about it. Coming from SF Bay Area, the quality and price of food/drinks is nowhere comparable. The coffee is nowhere as good as cafes i’ve been to. The donuts are dry and hard… i guess theyre cheap but you get what you pay for. The boba is pretty horrible for the price.($ 4) They charge extra for no ice and«boba» but i mean why is it under«boba tea» if you’re gonna charge extra for the«boba». I’ve tried multiple flavors but the only one I can stand is the traditional. Any other flavor, I can taste the imitation extract. For $ 4 i can get a large sized matcha green tea with red bean, milk foam, and boba at Sharetea or Gongcha(in CA). I don’t mean to bash this place or anything but I think they should really get a reality check on their pricing. If you want actual boba tea, i suggest tapioca house in richardson or fat straws in plano. The boba here is like a disgrace to Taiwanese boba.

It’s a classic Korean donut shop meets Taiwanese bubble tea hut, meets cozy local roaster coffee house! I LOVE this place! Today was my first visit and I stayed 5 hours. :-) Atmosphere is warm, friendly, cozy and functional. Plenty of tables with space for board games/working/studying, a side room lined with study cubicles, and fashionable comfy couches, lots of outlets for charging devices. The coffee is excellent, milk tea is more like flavored milk — tea flavor is noticeably lacking — but the flavors are good and not too sweet. Donuts are solid, kolaches standard, sausage biscuit was exactly like a frozen jimmy dean sausage egg and cheese biscuit. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the food, wish they had more savory and lunch options. I vote for Korean fried chicken for night time menu addition — they are open til 10:30 pm most days(sweet!) and the donuts must sell out before then… Apparently they’ve been in this location for 8 years, used to be called Escape, but changed their name so as not to be confused the other chain café with the same spelling, but pronounced Esca-pay.

Wanted to check out this place because of the many reviews, I live close by, and it looks amazing inside. It does looking really cool inside. I like how they did all of the detailed decorating. There’s a lot of seating available. It’s nice and quiet to study in. Lot of windows for natural lighting. There’s some lounge areas with long couches and tables. The atmosphere is nothing like I’ve ever seen for a coffee shop. I just wanted to try a jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly. That’s my usual tester drink to see how good a place is lately. It didn’t wow me at all. It was mostly milk and not much of a tea taste. Perhaps I’ll try something else next time and be able to offer a better review.
