This is my new favorite lunch spot. I work very close to Watters Creek and a co-worker bought a Groupon, so we decided to check it out. I am so impressed. The ambiance was delightful and the patio overlooks this cute little canal(seriously, sit outside if the weather permits). You almost forget where you are! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was quite tasty. I ordered the Italian Crêpe and the Strawberry Lime Thyme tea and she had the Roasted Chicken Crêpe with the Lemon Basil tea — we both loved everything! We also decided to get a fruit & Nutella crêpe to go and it was outstanding. The ONLY thing that is keeping me from giving them all 5 stars is that it took a bit long to get our food, but it was busy so I can’t be too mad about that. Go give it a try!

First timers here. Thick, peppery bacon and carved roasted chicken graced my club– D was a little disappointed because the chicken salad sandwich was out but he finished his turkey sandwich which is the equivalent of a contented review. The people working the Friday morning we came in did their respective duties slowly, but with smiling, deliberate care. They seemed to take pride in every aspect, particularly the young man surveying my sandwich as he built it, or dare I say *created* it. Overall, I enjoyed the lazy morning experience, but the most salient and memorable mouth moment was simply Nutella and stuff.

It’s a 4 star for that cozy feeling you get when you walk in and I was so excited to come back a second time to try the crepes and omg there just isn’t any flavor! I was actually tempted to go speak to the chef and give them my opinion but then I figured who am I to tell them how to cook! I ordered the spinach veggie breakfast crêpe and was soooooo bland… Salt and black pepper didn’t help. They are missing a good sauce to drizzle over it or some seasonings with a little spice to cook the veggies with… I will be back for coffee/tea and sit and chat with a friend but I won’t order the crepes(unless I’m on a cheat day and then I will try their strawberry one… hopefully can’t go wrong if it’s strawberry and cream and sugar)…

I ordered the Strawberry Nutella crêpe to-go. The crêpe was light, and the strawberries tasted fresh. I will definitely return to eat-in and try the other crepes.

Why do I keep thinking that service will improve at this place. It is so convenient that I keep hoping for improvement. Visited this morning for late breakfast and was once agin provided poor and indifferent service. Ordered a couple of teas and sandwiches at the counter and was told that they did not have change. They were however happy to accept $ 40 for a $ 20.32 order. Explained to them that was really not an option and seemed to confuse the cashier. Once she was able to get the managers attention he understood the math and gave me back a $ 20 and accepted a $ 21 for the order… no offer to provide change. After 20 minutes at the table waiting… went back to the counter and asked for a status. They asked if the chai was to be hot or frozen. We let them know frozen as was ordered 20 minutes ago. After another 5 minutes the tea was brought to the table. After 35 minutes had passed since ordering our crêpe and sand which was brought to the table. I pointed out to the person that brought the food(same cashier from before) that the sandwich had lettuce when I had requested no lettuce. She seemed bothered that I was pointing out the error in the order and was indifferent to complaint. There was never a follow up visit to the table. No manager present to voice a concern. Finished the tea and left the sandwich untouched on the table. I will hope that this last visit has made enough of a memory for me to not return… pretty sure it did just that.

The cutest meeting spot at Watters Creek. Quiet, quaint and adorable. Great to grab a quick hot drink or sit and enjoy a meal. The Crepes were spot on. I had the plain Jane; cinnamon and sugar. I wanted 20 more. Boyfriend had one with eggs, peppers etc(Texas breakfast taco meets France) and be ate every last bite. Love the outdoor seating that overlooks the center green. Staff was quick, kind and funny. I fully intend to revisit, again and again…

Coffee and crepes — is there anything better than that? Yeh there is — Frogg’s Eggs Benedict. Have you ever had eggs benny on a crêpe instead of an English muffin? Never again English muff — long live the crêpe. The coffee is excellent from Oak Cliff Roasters and they also have almond milk(my preferred milk in a latte). Kid tip: enjoy your goodies while your kids go play on the slide right out the back door!

Service was great, my espresso shots didn’t take long, and it has a really nice patio area with a great view. I think I’ll be visiting this place more frequently.

The shop was a bit hard to find because I parked in a parking structure that is opposite the shop and behind a creek and playground. Luckily I saw some Unilocal pictures beforehand and knew it was behind the playground. I was greeted the moment I walked in as if I was a regular customer. I ordered the Smores, the Strawberry Cheesecake and the basic one with strawberries, banana, and nutella. Smores– yummy but too sweet. Strawberry Cheesecake-very good! my sister finished it and was full The last one– as original as it gets. I also ordered an iced Mocha and a hot Chai Latte because my bf wanted to try it and Unilocal review recommended it. Sadly, I was unable to sip on either… I walked in the house and dropped the cup holder… You should’ve seen my bf’s face when he came home and asked where his Chai Latte was ;(

Atmosphere looks absolutely amazing and inviting!!! But that’s about all… The servers and baristas were inattentive. The young lady who took my order was half ass paying attention to me because I must have been interrupting her conversation with the barista. I ordered my food to go and it was presented to me on plates. They took it back and boxed it up for me which took an extra 10 minutes??? By the time I got home, my crepes were cold and they weren’t really good at all! I guess I’m tainted by the awesome crêpe shack that used to spoil me with the heavenly crepes they would make in a little shack on the side of the road in Addison. I think it was called flippin out crepes? Those were crepes!!! I wish I could find that chef and have him teach this place about flavor, presentation, and attention to detail. I give this establishment two stars for the potential. If management can get their people together and inject them with some customer service and if the chef can refocus and attend to the food and the taste I might revisit and give it another chance.

I had to update this review based on my last two visits to Frogg. I was at Watters Creek and I decided to stop in here for coffee again because I remembered how delicious it was(and I snagged some muffins for some friends) and the staff was SUPERFRIENDLY! I mean, every person from the register to the barista to the manager who walked around laughing and chatting with everyone. It was like a 180 from my last experience, and according to my friends the muffins were amazing! After that visit I knew I had to come back and try one of their breakfast savory crepes because they sounded yummy, so after I got my hair cut I came in here for another tasty latte and I tried the Tejas crêpe. It has chorizo, peppers, onion, cheddar and is extremely filling. I actually ended up taking half of it home to snack on later. It came with a hash brown casserole that was so-so but honestly with as great as everything else was and the nice staff with the locally sourced coffee beans? I didn’t even mind. I definitely want to come back on a Saturday evening when they’re having a concert on the green because the manager said their patio is always full with people watching/listening and having great food and coffee! I’m in!

Excellent cup of joe. The latte with almond milk was fantastic and the crepes are YUMMY! I have been to many places where the crepes have no flavor but not here. You can watch them making the crepes while you order which was cool. I was told it had an Austin vibe here and being an austinite myself I don’t agree with that. I will say it has a cool mellow vibe of its own. It’s right next to the big park so you can relax while the kids play! I will say compared to other coffee spots this place has the goods!!!

The place has been under two owners, so my review covers the current one, not both. Local business, not a chain, and has a little more character to show for it. Neat location off an adjacent playscape and green area with a stream. Nice view and good for parents that might want to make a stop with kids. The prices are middling rather than cheap, but I felt the food quality merited the price, and the portion size was appropriate for the money. I enjoyed the crepes, and the cortado was good, not as syrupy like chains tend to sell, they try to use fresh local beans and just make decent coffee. I like that this place offers wine and beer too if you want to have a leisurely lunch. Good place, nice charm, no complaints.

Went to this spot yesterday(Sunday) afternoon with my laptop to work for a couple of hours. It’s a neat little coffee shop that makes sweet and savory crepes. I only tried the Chai Tea Latte though which was pretty tasty! And you get 15% off your bill for checking in with Unilocal. The music was varied, from Broadway tunes to Top 40 pop to grungy alternative rock, which I kind of liked. The employees are nice and helpful, giving off an Austin kind of vibe. Free wifi with password espresso in all caps. If you are trying to work or concentrate, the music is kind of loud and might be distracting but if you are just meeting someone up and hanging out in Allen, this is a cool place. Their water also has a hint of cucumber flavor from the cucumber slices they put in there. Next time I will try a crêpe!

Love this place and its location! First off, Watters Creek is just such an adorable area, it’s so cute! And with the playground right outside of Frogg Creperie, it’s the perfect setup for us to have a great breakfast with a toddler. My favorite crêpe is the Viva la Texas. The chorizo has a great flavor. The coffee is incredible here as well. I test the quality of the brew by ordering a cortado. They are fed on point here! They use a local roaster, Oak Cliff Roasters. So good!

I’ve been back a handful of times and can tell the service has been overhauled. It’s spectacular. Truly. Incredibly customer oriented, kind, friendly and speedy. Yes, there is a wait for a fresh Crêpe, but it’s worth it. The coffee is fresh, as is the espresso and the baked goods are tasty too. Way to go Frog staff! I really enjoy coming here and plan to be back often.
