I typically shop here for basics like tank tops, cami’s to wear underneath blazers/sweaters, and petite length slacks. I’ve found the customer service to be lacking on multiple occasions. Someone will usually speak upon entering the store, but after that, it’s hit or miss. On my latest visit, I picked up several items. I was in the fitting room ATLEAST45 minutes. I could overhear the other patrons and salespeople. The fitting room was completely full at one point, then back to just me in there. The salespeople continuously checked on others, asking if they needed help or items in different sizes. But my salesperson(and no one else) ever attempted to assist me while back there for ATLEAST45 minutes. The funny thing is, they even write your name on a dry erase board outside the door. Finally, someone stopped by, but I told her how long I’d been back there and didn’t need any help at that point. I spoke briefly with a manager. When I looked up, I saw my «salesperson» watching us with her face all frowned up, like«What did I do?». The manager apologized and kept making suggestions for other items. By that point, I was disappointed and ready to go. I appreciate her trying to resolve the situation by apologizing and offering me a better discount. But that’s not the point. It’s all about the level of customer service that is offered on a consistent basis. And at this store, it’s bad. As stated by a previous reviewer, I have noticed that most of their items are the same as what’s offered in regular stores(this one is an outlet). They do tend to have sales frequently, so that helps because the prices are too high in my opinion for the quality.

This store is alright. It will give you a typical American shopping experience — meaning some people are ready, willing, and able to help while others completely ignore you. Don’t look for personalized service, such as getting you a different size while you are in the dressing room. However, the staff that does help is friendly enough. This isn’t the largest Lane Bryant in the Dallas Area. Also, I have found it isn’t really an «outlet» store. They carry all the newest lines of clothes the regular stores carry — and at the regular store’s prices. This store does seem to have sales more often than regular stores, but I haven’t noticed much of a difference in cost and overall total when shopping here versus a regular store. So, if there’s a regular store closer to you, don’t bother driving all the way out to the boonies for this store. Still, their selection is good, varied, and they usually have what I am looking for.

The customer service at this location is moderately OK. Some sales associates act as if you are inconveniencing them when you ask for help. Some are eager to help when you ask. Recently I experienced a problem with a garment I purchased from the store. No one at the store level was able to help me. I had to contact the corporate office. The people at the corporate office saved the sale by going above and beyond in helping me. They should really overhaul their customer service. If it weren’t for the treatment from their corporate office, I would not go back.
