Whataburger

Very clean inside and out. Friendly employees. When they brought our food out, they said they didn’t like how some of the chicken bites turned out, so they were cooking us some more Would return to this location.

Whataburger is a serious guilty pleasure for me! I love the patty melt. The food is awesome for junk food, it always hits the spot! What’s 5 star to me may be a 1 star to you. I indulge myself with an occasional guilty pleasure, I soooo earned it!
The drive through is the bomb. Then you can hide in the dark and eat it on the way home! Yummy!

I specifically asked for a side of ranch and extra ketchup several times, and discovered they were not in my bag when I got home. Dry chicken strips and fries = yuck!

I came to this place and I was like Dude!!!
But seriously, dude, what… a. burger and like, Texas and stuff. This is the second worst review I’ve bee written, but man whata burger I just ate! That sort of sounds Maori when you forget to separate the A like that.
No seriously though, I’m not sure where that gibberish just came from, so let me start over.
Why isn’t What a burger in the conversation? You know what I mean, in n out vs shack shack vs five guys etc. I never hear anyone bring up what a burger. I personally am a die hard for in n out, Cali born and bred. But what a burger is making me question my beliefs.
Value, quality, portions, variety, good service. They actually have it all here.
In n out has value, quality, good service, but variety is limited and portions are good, but not huge.
This is really a difficult moment for me cause I’ve never been to Texas and I’ve barely heard anything About what a burger before, but dude, I think what a burger might be the best.

Right in the middle with the stars because when it’s good, it’s great but when it’s not, it’s terrible. I’ve had amazing burgers at 3am (the amazingness potentially influenced by alcohol) and actual arguments with a manager over what I ordered (sober and apparently you have to specify that you want all of the other toppings when you order a Whataburger combo with cheese and mustard). At the end of the day it’s Whataburger and I think that I keep coming back for the ketchup.

I used to come here often (pregnant, lol). I’ve had the pleasure of coming during breakfast, on various days. Yay they are open 24 hours! Handled those late night pregnancy cravings.
Breakfast is always hot and my order is always correct. Although the drive-​thru line can get pretty long in the morning, my wait is not too long. I enjoy the morning drive-​thru staff as well, I’m always greeted with a smile and sometimes small talk and nice conversation.
What I ate: I always ordered the jalapeño cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese or sausage, egg, and cheese! Put some grape jelly on it!
Pros: They use real eggs. Did I really just say that? Well they do. Some places the eggs don’t taste like real cracked open eggs, more like something out of a carton. This location has filtered water if you order a cup of water. I always ordered my breakfast with their largest (the cup is HUGE) cup of ice water (I was pregnant and thirsty). so good.
Cons: This is small but. make sure you are specific about your order and reinforce it. Times when I’ve ordered a large cup of ice water (didn’t mind paying for it) they would give me a medium cup of ice water. If I’m paying for a large cup of ice water, I want a large cup of ice water not medium. So I just requested they fix it and they always fixed it happily.

Love Whataburger. I have truly missed going here. As another reviewer said, they need to set up in California. I was stationed out there, and the best burger there was In & Out. Come on, In & Out has made it here, why can’t Whataburger go out there?
Anyway, this particular location is the best of the best. Customer service is truly amazing.
On one of my visits, I ordered the number 4 combo which is the jalapeño burger. I forgot to ask to make it a double. I didn’t realize my mistake till I got the food. I approached the counter and asked if I could get another patty added; totally willing to pay extra for it. The manager took my burger and said don’t worry about it. It was completely MY error, but they added the extra patty without even asking questions.
I’ll be coming here often.

Cool spot good food for late night runs. A fat bastard works here who is extremely rude. If you like your job go work elsewhere

whataburger needs to come to California and teach these idiots how to make a real burger. Every time I get to Texas, first stop is whataburger

Always have been an avid whataburger fan. Haven’t been in awhile decided to grab lunch for my boyfriend and I, service was fast but I come home to find a long black hair melted in the cheese on my burger… Threw the entire meal away, simply disgusting. Waste of $ 17… I’ve always had your back whataburger but that is just beyond gross… Will not be back.

Always fast friendly and tasty one of the best places to grab a burger onion rings and a shake in Allen.

Went through the drive thru today, and saw the cook cracking real eggs onto the cooktop. McDonalds cooks their eggs in a plant somewhere. I like the fact that my food was cooked right there right now. GO WHATABURGER!!!

I stopped here around 10pm to bring home dinner after a late night softball game. I ordered the bacon avocado burger, which comes with onions, creamy pepper sauce, ketchup, cheese, bacon and avocado on toast. It was delicious! I really enjoyed all the flavors together as well as the crunch. My bf said I’d had it before, which I do not remember, so maybe it wasn’t as good last time. His double whataburger and onion rings must have been good too, as there was nothing left shortly after I arrived home.
Only issue is the drive-​thru wait. It took 16 minutes from the time I entered the line to the time I drove away with my food. That’s a little long for fast food in my opinion, and I forget every time how long it takes until I’m waiting in line. I know they make your food fresh but so do other places. Not sure why they take so much longer, but sometimes you just want Whataburger!

Let me say that I hate their burgers, just not to my taste so I have been trying other things. I have to say they have the best fast food breakfast I have been. This locate was just great, friendly, clean. Will be returning soon.

I only go here if there’s nothing else open. Their food is very mediocre, IMO.

I never have a problem when I come here, at least not with the food! But one night my boyfriend and I decided to stop in the drive-​thru to get a burger and a shake. When we ordered the shake, he asked if they use real ice cream. They said yes. So as we pulled up, we heard a white female talking to her staff. And what we’re hearing was unbelievable. She says to her staff «DUH it’s ice cream, f**cking dumbass! The windows were closed so I guess she assumed we couldn’t hear. My boyfriend knocked on the window and told her that we heard everything she was saying. We asked for the manager, and she was the manager! So we took the cooperates number down instead! She apologized and paid for our food.
Totally unprofessional, classless, and rude! If you can’t handle your job as a manger, then find a new one.

Great food and excellent service. Love their Bacon Avacado Burger that debuts only certain months of the year but is something you have to special order when it is off season. Burgers are juicy and fries are delicious. Definitely worth visiting!

Classic goodness. This is my favorire burger joint just nosing out in-​and-​out. Grest taste huge burgers and i do like the onions chopped rather than rings. Many times those onion rings pull out of the sandwich whole, so chopped is great. Really can’t go wrong here and the shakes are unreal. Thick and tasty.

Best fast food burger in my opinion. This location is usually a little slow but the quality and taste is consistent.

I don’t love fast food but the folks here are so nice and friendly and the food really is good. I had the grilled chicken, apple, dried cherry salad. Wow, I was REALLY surprised. The chicken had a nice smokey flavor and was very tender. The entire combination was very tasty and healthy.
This will be a new lunch «go to» place for me when I want a solid, healthy salad.
