FWIW, Monday-Friday breakfast from 7am-11am is currently 50% off. I have no idea how long the promo is going to run for but they have been doing it for a while and overall the place is still a ghost town especially during the promo times. Not a wide array of menu choices but there are several solid staples now dirt cheap.

Off day for Friendly’s. Food was cold, waitress was on her phone. Bacon was so greasy and chewy. Coffee was subpar. Place was empty too. What a shame. I’ll stick to the ice cream!

Nice new décor, friendly service but the food is awful. I used to go here every so often but haven’t in a while. I went last week and I was so surprised on how bad the food was. What happened? Also, the bathroom, only one stall for men and one for women. There was a line for the women’s room and there was only about four tables occupied in the restaurant at the time.

There were signs saying there will be renovations pretty soon. I’m glad because everything was dirty — the table, the menu… I used napkins to grab the ketchup bottle. There was no music playing, the lights were extremely bright, and babies were crying. Ugh! The food is great as always. I tend to avoid the ice cream because it doesn’t seem like real ice cream to me. It seems like air, foam, and chemicals mixed together. If you take your spoon and jab at your ice cream it will deflate into nothing or will become a drink within 30 seconds. This has just been my experience. I do enjoy the food though! The supermelts are amazing!

Service is ok but the last two times we went in for ice cream once we sat in restaurant and the other we took home. Both times we ordered the Reese Peanut Butter sundae and asked for extra peanut butter. Both times we were charged accordingly but did not get peanut butter at all. This time we asked for two scoops of ice cream in a cup and when we got home and took it out of the bag the scoops were smaller than a kids size… Time to start getting ice cream at other places…

Went here for dessert. Friendly’s is Friendly’s after all. Its consistent as they aim to be. So knowing what to expect I could not be disappointed. If you like Friendly’s then I would not steer you away. I did not see anything out ofnthebordinary here.

The food was good but sat under the heading lamp for too long. They were quick to bring fresh cold Cole slaw though. The bathroom was a good size and they were able to find us a good booth for our twins where we and the stroller were out of the way.

How I heard of this place: We saw a sign, on our way home from Camelback, for Friendly’s Ice Cream and Samyar mentioned the Reese’s® Pieces® Sundae(contains peanuts) with 5 Scoops of Vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, marshmallow, hot fudge and Reese’s® Pieces® candy. We couldn’t turn away. Type of cuisine: Breakfast classics including everything from waffles and chocolate chip pancakes to French toast and sirloin steak & eggs, omeletes, skillets, sandwich melts, and a special Seniors menu. For lunch and dinner, enjoy salads, burgers, more sandwiches, entrees like New England Fish ‘n’ Chips, a roasted Turkey Dinner, Bourbon BBQ Chicken and quesadillas. Friendly’s also offered munchies or appetizers of deep-fried Mac & Cheese, Crispy Bacon Potato Skins, Buffalo Chicken Strips, fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. I think the real reason people go to Friendly’s, though, is the Dessert: sundaes, brownies, cakes, waffle sundaes, fibbles, shakes and floats, and even a Friend-z. Ambiance: Bright red exterior awning and lamps hang over the red-framed floor-to-ceiling windowed entryway, directly across from the gated patio with red benches and tables under red umbrellas. Continuing the view out onto the parking lot, trailers and minivans run the show. Indoors, patrons have the option of squeezing into the line for take away ice cream, or play on the claw machine in the lobby while awaiting a table in the packed-with-families dining area. The tiled floor helps keep the lobby and take away area cool on this hot summer day, while red fans whiz overhead. A large school clock face on its own grandfatherly stand separates the lobby from the café, as you walk by the framed certificates hung askew on the wall to your right. We stuck with the take away menu and found ourselves enjoying our delicious treats on the patio. What I ordered: Samyar and I shared the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Sundae($ 5.29) with 3 Scoops of Vanilla ice cream, peanut butter topping, hot fudge and sprinkles, topped with a Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cup. Chris enjoyed a Cookies & Cream Double Thick Milkshake($ 4.29), and Paola savored one big scoop of Black Raspberry ice cream. What I loved: Melted peanut butter in my ice cream. Yum. Why I loved it: A perfect treat for the whole family. Everyone enjoys something at Friendly’s after a day in the sun at the water park. Cost: Average to high($ 4-$ 7 per ice cream concoction)

Service is always great at this location. We wish other Lehigh Valley restaurants were this good with service.

This place was a joke. My father and I walked in to the«Carry-Out» section of the restaurant to get a couple of ice cream cones. Nobody assisted us or was present at the desk for at LEAST5 minutes. A woman just got off the clock and was lingering in the back. You think she would have told someone that we were waiting? No. Why would she? That would have just made sense. We waited for a waitress who was taking an order to go and get someone to take out ice-cream order. That waitress went above and beyond exceptional service and put aside her tables to make sure that we were taken care of. Thats the only reason I gave you two stars instead of one. The lady who took are order was all disheveled and smelled like a disgusting cigarette. I’m gonna go to Carvels next time I want ice-cream. Pitiful

Wait staff is friendly. I know this sounds weird but the restrooms smell amazing. Like cinnamon applesauce. Very impressive. They messed up our orders but only slightly.

This branch of Friendly’s chain lives up to its name. Conveniently located close to the movie theater, it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat before or after the show. Service is good.
