Today was my first time at Logan’s & I think I love it, dare I say, more than nearby Texas Roadhouse. Our server, Derek, was EXCELLENT despite the fact that tomatoes were added onto my salad after specifically asking for it not to be. He was always on point with the drinks. I never had an empty glass & that’s the way it should be. I might like Logan’s margaritas a little less than the other place but this place has so much more going for it. Bigger, yummier yeasty rolls with *regular* whipped butter. The Grilled BBQ Wings were like heaven. My bf LOVED the Shrimp & Grits Fritters… so tasty & crunchy with a little bit of heat to it. His Ribeye & Fried Shrimp with Mashed Potatoes was comparable but he was crazy about the Cinnamon Apples. My Anything & Everything Salad with Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing was amazeballs. I rarely find a salad that leaves me feeling like Buddha after eating it. I was so stuffed. From a salad. I can’t believe it myself! The prices were also comparable but sooooo worth it, especially when service is excellent as well! Anyway, I look forward to returning to try the other interesting menu items, namely the Pulled Pork Sweet Potato or the Brisket Nachos.

After a long week came here for a steak and a brewski. It was a little slow right around 6 so I figured we would be served quickly. We received our drinks right away, but the bartender was talking to her boyfriend at the end of the bar for about 15 – 20 minutes so we just had to wait till their convo was done I guess. When we were finally able to order and get our food it was well prepared and cooked just right. I had the large filet mignon and some veggies. Can’t go wrong with that. If anything they need help with I think it’s just a little leadership behind the bar. Otherwise a good place for grub!

Salt Fest!!! Every item of food, from the appetizer to the salad to the entrée, was loaded with salt. However, our server was excellent. Very pleasant.

Absolute horrible service. Sat down for over twenty minutes no drink, no service, nothing. I had my 9 month old son with me as we were waiting. No one acknowledged or even looked or way. First and last time I will ever visit this establishment. Should’ve listened to my family who advised me not to go.

We have dined here on a few occasions and food has been outstanding. Perfectly cooked steak and chicken. Beer is cold drinks are strong. I have no complaints.

I give Logan’s one star only because the zucchini sticks were well done and very lightly battered. The service is horrible. The entire staff needs to be trained including the manager. The tables in the bar area were neglected including the guests. Not a single table has any of their finished plates cleared when a guest was done. They stayed on the tables the entire time. Every single table. It actually became annoying watching the staff give such poor service. I won’t be back.

Logan’s is our«go to» restaurant when we’re in Allentown on business. The food, service & quality are consistently great. We really scored tonight. We signed up for their promotion emails last year & get them on a consistent basis. We checked them out tonight & found we had one for a 25% OFF Food Discount that was good for the entire weekend! If you haven’t signed up on their website, we EMPHATICALLY recommend that you do so. There’s nothing better than free food!!!

got to visit logan’s last week. we both had the filet and lobster… NAILEDIT! I haven’t had a steak that good in a long time. I would have awarded 5 stars but there was a glob of something stuck to our table. I mean stuck as in dryed on and became as one with the table stuck.

Good roadhouse style food. bread buns were good. Breaded mushrooms with horse radish sauce was really good. 11 oz sirloin cooked perfectly. I recommend.

Pretty solid experience, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was pretty good. I ordered the New York strip steak and it was cooked how I wanted it. I wouldn’t recommend the mashed potatoes with the brown gravy it was very VERY salty. Prices are ok too.

Went there Saturday for dinner because On the border was packed. I like the all you can eat free peanuts while waiting for your food, and the soft butter rolls they give you. I got a onion brewski steak and my husband got the steak and lobster tails. Both were really good and steak was cooked to our liking. We also decided to try a drink sampler there which was actually really good. I would definitely go back here again!

I was surprised to get a call from their corporate offices to return and try them again, on them. This is clearly a company who wants to listen to customers to succeed. I was a little reluctant to do so, though, since our first encounter wasn’t great and I can’t see how they could improve that quickly. I was proven wrong. We returned three weeks later and I didn’t tell them we were there as Secret Shoppers until they were ready to hand us the check. The Good: 1. Once again their staff was cheerful and inviting all around. You sincerely believe people enjoy working here. 2. The salads were once again cold and crisp and plentiful, even if the Caesar was a little drenched. The server, Tabitha, asked how we liked our salads, and I was obliged to tell her they were decent but mine was drenched in dressing. She apologized, told me she was the one who prepared it, and immediately asked if she could bring another. Perfect response. 3. She immediately asked if she could refill the rolls. This is important to me because it makes the customer feel at ease that they are not trying to milk the restaurant of the free stuff. Restaurants who are generous with their complementary items always make the meal more relaxed. The Better: 1. Our previous trip experience had poorly prepared steaks. This time they nailed it. Both steaks were perfect medium. My wife had the Barrel Cut, their best cut, and it rivaled some of the steaks we’ve had on finer cruise ships. I chose to get with a cheaper cut for comparison and you can tell the difference, however, my sirloin was still enjoyable. I added a lobster tail to see how they did with grilling seafood(which is tricky as the process requires perfect timing) and I was not impressed but I wasn’t put off. It was, as I would have expected, a bit dry an overdone but not so much that it wasn’t mostly enjoyable. I wouldn’t order it again but then again, this is a southern steakhouse not a coastal cuisine. 2. The server who brought the steaks(not our server) asked if would could examine the steaks before she left the table. BINGO! That’s how good restaurants do it. They did not do this last time and if that is a recent addition to the SOP then well done management. 2. The waitress was perfectly on top of the drinks. I never felt that unfortunate«I really could use a sip right now but I’ve been out for a few minutes» feeling. 3. The manager came by and asked how things were not knowing why we were there. The Best: 1. Again, the server, Tabitha, should receive a raise. I’ve eaten in many countries and 40+ states and she would do well in a $ 50/plate fine cuisine establishment. Logan’s should promote her if there’s room before she finds a better gig. The Still Needs Improving: 1. Overall Logan’s won my word of mouth approval. I would mention a few things though, most particularly about cleanliness. This is a criticism I chose not to touch last time. Upon arrival the table did have clearly noticeable peanut residue over the entire table. It was quite visible and easily removed with my napkins. A few menus are a bit sticky. The children’s high chairs were… yea. Not good. So I can imagine it is quite a battle to keep a peanut doused restaurant in perfect order, but I think it’s reasonable to expect a little better as well. If you’ve read this far– you take reviews too seriously and you should just get in the car and try them out. :-)

Had a fabulous family dinner of 7. With our big group(myself and boyfriend, his parents, his brother, and grandparents) I thought we were going to have problems. Nope. Our server was great, she brought extra napkins since we had a small kid which is a great start to getting 5 stars from me. She was attentive with drinks, helpful with clarifying the menu, being prompt when serving, etc. We ordered a lot of food and everything I had was great. I would not mind going again with an even larger group. Boyfriend got a steak and he loved it. Lil brother is a picky eater and was happy. Grandparents both got ribs and were delighted. We had a great great time and I’m very grateful for that. The dessert was AMAZING. it was an ice cream pie thing that boyfriend and I DEMOLISHED between ourselves.

Went here with a couple of coworkers. We had three different steaks: bone in ribeye, ribeye, and the teriyaki club sirloin. All had broccoli and the sweet potato and all were cooked nicely, and seasoned well. Good service. Not pushy, appropriately attentive but not over the top. The place delivered on what it set out to, simple reasonably priced steaks.

Do you like Texas Roadhouse but don’t live near one? This place is for you! Get The Logan steak. It is always very lean and cook to perfection. Get a side of grilled zucchini and its spring time heaven. Very friendly staff. Only downside here is that they need to work on the appetizers. Never had a descent appetizer here… usually under-cooked or bland. Still a very good place to eat on a Saturday evening.

Great experience!!! We loved our food and the service was fantastic. We will return. Our server was Lyndsie… She was amazing with a great personality. My honey’s steak was done just right. I had the buttermilk chicken and it was just right. The sides, drinks, everything.

I was back here for lunch two days ago. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. My server was attentive, kind and to the point. Food arrived promptly. I have had this sandwich numerous times. It is flaming hot spice wise. I was again impressed by it’s taste and it’s heat. The manager stopped by to check up on me and my dining experience. Overall a solid five stars for food quality and taste, attentive server with a personality and a caring manager that seemed to honestly care about my lunch experience. Thank you Logan’s!

We have yet to return but we do plan on it soon. The manager personally reached out to me and was very concerned about our visit and appreciated the feedback. I respect that a lot because it shows he has a passion for his brand and wants the guest to have the best experience ever.

We went for dinner to give this place one more chance(the first time was not good). This time was no better. The appetizers were gross. Everything tasted old, not cooked, and frozen. Dinner was worse, my steak was raw then took 20 minutes to get a new one. Baked potatoe had the wrong toppings and the manager was rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. We won’t go again. No wonder it was a ghost town on a Friday night.
