Mediocre service at best. When I asked for a clean knife the waitress replied«sure» and put another on the table and walked away. we were not told any specials– we asked about drink specials and were told there were none– although some were posted elsewhere. The food was disappointing to say the least– the ‘vegetable medley’ was frozen mixed vegetables like the ones served in a school cafeteria. My baked potato was served cold with some plastic containers of butter thrown on the plate next to it. My steak was cooked well in the middle and rare at the border– how does that even happen(I ordered it medium well)? My husband ordered a medium well steak that was medium rare at best– when brought to the waitresses attention she stated«that’s because it has a bone» and offered no remedy. Such a bad experience– we won’t be back.

We went for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Lump crab meat appetizer was tasty. I had the filet and it was done perfectly. My husband had prime rib and his was also excellent. Garlic mashed potatoes and cesare salad were also very good. Dessert was also wonderful. I had the chocolate lava cake… yum! We will be back. Our server was also top notch! As you can see, no complaints.

First time here since the remodel and probably the last time. I wasn’t impressed before and I am definitely not now. First, the waitress didn’t know what beers they had, then she didn’t even know what the soup of the day was. Had cheese fries as appetizer, they were way over cooked. I ordered medium rare sirloin steak with garlic butter. Came out with no garlic butter. The steak itself was of poor quality. Burnt on the edges and very rare in the middle. I’ve had better steaks a diners and they call themselves a steak house!!! I won’t be back and I am hearing the same from others.

With a party of 4 on a Friday near 1 pm, the place had maybe 6 other diners, with a wait staff of 2 that we could see, it took 2 hours to have lunch, really??? We waited 15 min for the waitress who took our drink order and came back 10 min later to get our lunch order, then we looked at empty glasses and a bowl of pickles until an hour had passed, the 2 with chicken breast had sparse meat on the plate, and the 2 with rib steaks had plenty of meat but we paid for it later with burping and grease, must have had a ton of MSG to boot, sorry we wasted our lunch date here, the4 of us will be looking elsewhere, it was a first and a last, all in one visit, and our tip reflected the ridiculous backup to get food, sorry about that,

I went here with my parents they both got steak sandwiches. The steak sandwhich had a ridiculously small amount of meat. It was actually pathetic, although they did say it didn’t taste too bad otherwise. When they told the waitress she said unfortunately we are told that alot! My husband had the ribeye sandwich and he loved it(only reason for the second star beside the alcohol:) I ordered the grilled chicken mushroom sandwich and it was a big serving but the chicken was so thin and just about burnt and dry, but not enough to send it back. We definitely will not be going back, not that I expect them to stay open too long. Their was no one there at what should have been the busiest part of lunch hour. Next time I check the reviews before we eat!

Not great. Not horrible. Won’t be back! Just the owner sitting at the bar looming over all the severs was enough to make me want to run! The manager on duty doing the same. All the staff looked miserable! We ordered steaks with shrimp and a French onion soup to share. And some wine. Our waitress never brought our soup and charged us for it. Our steaks were meh imo. The pound of mashed potatoes we got were ok. And I witnessed the bartender mixing our more expensive glass of wine with a cheap wine. Thanks but no thank Gregory’s!

Overpriced. Poor quality steak. Ribeye was paper thin and dried out. Baked potato with cinnamon butter and no sour cream. The chain steak houses are way better than this. Awful

So the last time I was here was the right before the joint burned down two years ago. I have to say our food was a step up from before but I honestly didn’t much care for the service. We ate here with friends on Christmas day. Upon seating I happened to notice that my wife and I lacked silverware and napkin. Our waitress seemed clueless. Our waitress then asked if we wanted pickles and we said sure. Our friend ordered glass of beer with a chaser of water. When the waitress came back to take our order. I inquired about the lack of silverware and the pickles that we hadn’t gotten yet. Our friend was still waiting on his water. She left and came back and kinda slammed the pickles and plates on the table. My other friend ordered a baked potato with horse raddish sauce and balsamic vinegrette, yeah an odd combo and I noticed the perplexed smirk on the waitress’s face as she wrote it down. My wife said to the friend with the beer, wow still no water? He spoke up when she brought him his salad but I could tell he wasn’t too thrilled with the wait. When the food came it seemed ok, but my friend that ordered outside the box got a baked potato with the standard butter and sour cream and the once again the waitress seemed perplexed. which honestly I am guessing she didn’t write down horse raddish sauce and balsamic vinegrette. When she put my tea down she said. who got the raspberry. no one ordered that but thankfully she just said it wrong. It seemed like everyone enjoyed their meal to some extent. but I am sorry when you get a rude experience anywhere kinda makes ya not wanna go back. So friends of mine. please don’t invite us here again. I think I want to do Chinese Next Year.

Went with a group of 18 for a holiday luncheon. We had made reservations and had a private room. Must say, with the exception of a very weak g&t and a burger that was a bit leaner than needed, everything was great. I had a ½ rack of baby back ribs. Pleasantly surprised. Lots of meat on the bone. The veggie sides were a bit meh, but fresh. The service was excellent. They knew we were coming(11:30 am on a Saturday) and had amble wait and kitchen staff. This place isn’t Morton’s, nor does it try to be. I think it will start to give other steakhouses in the Lehigh Valley a run for their money.

They call themselves a steak house. Order 2 steaks filet and Rib eye. Filet medium well came out medium rare. The rib eye ordered medium came out well done and paper thin. All sides were cold. Should be called a Bar and Grill had better steaks at Applebee’s.

Wow. Some of these reviews are brutal! And I believe unfair. My wife and I come at least twice a week and every time we leave saying«we have never had a meal we didn’t like!». The shrimp scampi, the rib-eye sandwich, chicken marsala… and THEWINGS. We don’t get wings anywhere else — we’ve had Whelihans and Copperhead — good but not even close to Gregory’s. We don’t get wings anywhere else because they are disappointing compared to Gregory’s. We’ve been coming for only a few months so maybe these bad reviews were when they had a different cook or manager? It’s a nice, warm place, and the staff are real people — they will tell you what’s good and what’s so-so on the menu. We enjoy the place and would miss it if it wasn’t here.

Drove over an hour for horrible food. Ordered a prime rib and chicken Alfredo. It came out before we were done our salads. Steak was mooing at us and Alfredo was sauce was water. Sent steak back to only come out the same temp. Never again. Server was okay wasn’t very attentive. Should have taken notice to the lack of cars on a Friday night. Oh well lesson learned.

We wanted to try out Gregory’s despite the bad reviews, and unfortunately we should’ve listened to the bad reviews. We were planning to go on a Friday night so we wanted reservations in case it was crowded, we were trying to get reservations for around 6 – 6:30, but they told us the earliest they had available was 7. We were ok with that and decided to leave early anyway in hopes there would be a place at the bar until our 7pm reservation. We got there around 6:15 and the place was empty with the exception of a few full tables and about 5 people in the bar area. I couldn’t understand why their first available reservation wasn’t until 7? We sat at the bar anyway, which is really nice, and decided just to eat our dinner there instead. The only thing good about both of our dinners was the cesear salad. I got the 7oz sirloin, medium well, and my fiancé got the 12oz strip ordered as medium. Both came out looking like the exact same cut of meat, both dried out, very thin, cooked well done and literally burnt all around. When the bartender asked how our meals were we were honest that the steaks weren’t what we were expecting and he apologized, although we know it wasn’t his fault, and said he would take care of our 2nd round of beers, which was generous. However, we still ended up paying $ 68 for 2 burnt steak dinners and dried out shrimp skewers. The manager, I’m assuming, had to come over and take off the 2 comped beers from our order on the computer and I assumed he would come over and apologize, but he didn’t. It seems as though comping items on patrons’ bills is pretty 2nd nature to them and I can understand why!

Food was just ok. The quality of food has gone down and there isn’t anything special about it. I think it was much better before it burned. This is our second time trying drinks here and they were terrible. The bartenders do not know how to mix drinks. Served a margarita in a martini glass, tasted better than the other drinks at least but it was 10.50!!! A small martini glass at that! And extra dirty vodka martini with no olive juice ??? Tasted horrible like they used flavored vodka. The bar just isn’t fun anymore. This will be our last try.

So disappointed. Not at all like the old restaurant. Meal was unappetizing and over priced. Room lacked the charm of the old one.

The new Gregory’s is the place to be. What I appreciated was the outstanding service from the moment you walk through the door. I can’t speak to the«old» restaurant but the new bar is beautiful and the menu is well done with plenty of meal options that are reasonably priced. We’ve eaten numerous meals ranging from appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees(steaks are awesome). Love the pickles they bring out as a snack Bar is great for a date or hanging with friends. Main dining rooms is perfect for a family dinner.

Ridiculously horrible! Out on a very rare date night with my husband and decided to try the«new» Gregory’s”. Worst mistake ever. The day before Mothers Day and they ran out of baked potatoes and sweet potatoes! Aren’t there at least 3 grocery stores within a 5 mile radius? Someone couldn’t go buy them??? Order steak with mashed potatoes against my better judgement since they were out of REAL potatoes and both of our steaks came out burnt after ordering them medium and medium rare. BBQ chicken was also burnt. I ordered a bernaise sauce and guess what? Out if that too? The manager, who was only there for a week, was very apologetic, I wish I could say the same for the waitress. Never apologized once! I will never recommend that place to anyone!

First off, prior to the restaurant closing due to a fire, I held this place in high regard, often had wonderful meals and great service. Last night I returned to the«new» Gregory’s Steakhouse, i left after our meal proclaiming that I will never be back. For $ 30.99 Porterhouse to be served well done(borderline burnt) with layers of grizzle surrounding it, when you asked for it to be medium, you lose my endorsement. The meal was also sitting for a long period of time under the heat lamps waiting to be served as well. Dry, chewy, gross steak. Dry chewy gross scallops(for an additional $ 10.99) to go along with it. Horrible dining experience. Dropping over $ 40 for a steak/seafood option should give you a decent eating experience. The tragedy is that this place was once great, now it rivals that of bad diner.
