It’s fine. The prices are so-so for the portion size and quality. Most of it is pretty good, I think the miso could be better. It’s not one of my favorites, but it’s fine. Just fine.

Mio is my favorite sushi and I’ve been to lots of fancy places. It’s just perfect. Try the Sonny Special number 1. It’s a roll on the menu at all Mio locations but I’ve never seen it at other sushi places… baked salmon on rice, great for timid eaters or anyone with a mouth. Yum! I want one right now!

The sushi was ok, i had better. The oudon soup had no taste and had no sea food as promised. Very disappointing and very unprofessional restaurant.

This is our go to sushi place! Everything tastes fresh, they dont drown their rolls in sauce so you can actually taste the flavor of the sushi. The prices are not overly expensive and the staff is very attentive. A must try if you like sushi :)

Great sushi. I tried the California roll and the sushizza and they were delicious. The mango iced tea hits the spot also. Service was excellent and I would definitely come back.

The food was good, but I was most blown away by their service to my little kids. My kids were splitting the chicken teriyaki and I asked for extra plates. They came out with cute kid plates, an extra bowl to split the soup with ice in the bowl! I had already been eyeing the hot soup, so I was extra thankful for the ice to cool it down. Then at the end they gave us a cute orange shaped like a bear, holding orange bits. One of the sushi chefs did it and we all admired the orange bear.

Very fresh sushi, great menu selection for all types of sushi lovers. Service was on point and casual. Bentos come with large amount of food, good roll portions. Will definitely come back!

Good sushi rolls. I like how I this place salt the food up as much as other sushi restaurants. Stay away from the green mussels though — lest you want to pay $ 5 for only 2 mussels(rip off alert!) Also. seriously? Kid’s meal for $ 9!!! Sushi is reasonably priced, but everything else is highway robbery.

Waking in there is a fresh sent, does not smell like food. Our waitor was very polite and did not hover around, we had time to enjoy and did not feel rushed at all. Our waiter was Anthony, great waiter, I do not know the others but I imagine they are nice as well. The sushi is very nice quality, each had it’s own flavor and you can’t go wrong combining different sushi in a meal. Large peices are worth the prixe because of their unique flavor and satisfying result. As for the atmosphere, relaxing, choice of music was calm but not slow, perfect fit for eating a meal. The tables were clean and did not look worn out. I would recommend for a casual or semi formal date or eat out. Very nice place all around. –Thank You

Great sushi! Good service and presentation! A bit on the pricey side. The bubble bubble and the Dragon mango are both delicious and beautiful. I also really like the dye-free ginger. The restaurant is fairly small and they do a good job of not making you sit with your neighbors by good use of screen placement. I would definitely go again and I would recommend that you give it a try.

2/15, it has been 4 years time for an update. In the years since I did my first review we have eaten at this Mio many times, then we took a break of about 9 months and have been getting our Bento needs fulfilled at Mr. Bento. We decided to drop by Mio a few Mondays ago for lunch. It was fairly busy at 1:30 ish, we were seated and placed our order, I got my usual 2 item Bento(Teriyaki Chicken and Tempura). The Miso soup is still in m top 2, however the Bento is now smaller yet the same price. Interesting. The Potstickers seem different now, they are for sure out of a bag, they are Veggie Potstickers and I can taste the chemical taste of the cabbage(I assume) in the filling, just not tasty or hot for that matter. I used to get 2 shrimps with the Tempura, now only 1 and they seem to be missing a few Tempura items which used to come with the Bento. I used to barely be able to finish my Bento and had to share some with my husband, this time I had no problem finishing my lunch. Less food and less quality for the same money, I love you Mio but you have pretty much lost my business. There are too many other places who do it better and make it worth your 9 plus bucks for lunch.

I have passed by this place many times but after my trip to get my birdies some food next door at pets Mart I decided to get me some sushi. I think of myself as a good decision maker, NOT. this place just added to my streak of mediocre sushi. It’s very small and I felt a little confined, I ordered the Dragon roll which was like $ 12 and it was ok. The salmon was mushy, Yuck and the tempura roll I ordered tasted like a fish tank. $ 20 to keep me away from this place for the rest of my life in suburbia is a small price to pay. Mio don’t like your sushi!

This is my go to sushi place when I have a mostly non sushi eater with me and I need a place a step or two above conveyor belt sushi. Its close to my house. Bonus. Yes its a chain. But a NW chain, so pffft. The family that runs it, theyre all super sweet. We have always had good service and they are great about kids. Once a server made my daughter a napkin flower and another time the sushi chef made her a teddy bear out of an orange. I remember that kind of thing. Lasting impressions. Little genuine kindnesses towards my kid go a long way with me. I love the miso soup and the hot tea. The menu has lots of choices, not just sushi but soups and noodles and bentos. Snd rice dishes.. Tonight was bento box night with a few nigiri. It was all delicious. We spent about $ 45 + tip for two people. Not conveyor belt cheap but not nearly what we’d spend at Syun. We were happy with full bellies and the glow of a pleasant evening, and we will be back.

I’m OBSESSED with Sushi. Honestly, if I could eat sushi every day, I totally would, but it would definitely have to be Mio Sushi, and Mio Sushi only. I’m not afraid to try any type of sushi, raw, cooked, weird names, etc., put it on my plate, tell me what it is, and I’ll totally try it out. Mio is the best place to go for FRESH sushi. I emphasize fresh, because I cannot stand already made track sushi — that shit tastes like chewy plastic. The classic California roll is so amazing from Mio that you have to get it no matter what you order. I typically order: Either edamame or the miso soup to start with. 1 California roll, 1 Philadelphia roll, and my favorite Sushi Pizza. I know what you’re thinking, «Ew, WTF is a sushi pizza?!» YOUHAVETOTRYIT oh my god it is so good. It’s basically a laid out sushi, flat seaweed layer, layer of rice, salmon, and the best sweet and spicy sauce ever. There’s other stuff too, but I can’t think about it without drooling all over the keyboard. Another goodie is the double crunch roll, SO delicious, and has a few different seafood choices in it, wrapped in rice and seaweed, then wait for it… deep fried it tempura. My favorite Mio to visit is the Beaverton Round one right off of Hall Blvd, because they have outdoor seating, but the 185th location is just as convenient to my house and tastes just the same!
