If I could put less than 1 star I would. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at any dining location. I saw an ad in the Sunday paper that Blimpie is having it’s 52nd birthday today and they were having a special on the Blimpie Best(1 per customer at 52 cents each). I took my two girls there to pick up subs and was also going to pay full price for one for my husband. The sandwich makers made the subs and I went to the front of the gas station to pay for the 3 @52 cents as well as the one full price. I also had 3 large bags of chips and two 2 liters of soda. The cashier asked me where my coupon was for the subs. I told him I don’t have a coupon as it was an ad not a coupon. He proceeded to call up the manager who said no coupon no discount. He argued with me and I just told him to keep the subs and the other items. He stated that I cost him money. My response to that was«No, you are costing you money». He then told me to never return to my store again! I am fine with that as I had never been there before so really won’t be an issue. He could have had a recurring customer if he knew how to treat people. I have informed corporate as this looks really bad on them. Hopefully they will take a long look at a store franchisee and reconsider you owning one. Clearly you are new to customer service.
