Although I live across the street, I no longer frequent this location. Their food is not fresh and it is poorly prepared. I once tried the crispy chicken sandwich but it was cold and soggy, They store the flat bread in such a way that one corner of it is very dry and hard,(I think that it must be exposed to a heat source). Overall, their sandwiches are so poorly prepared that I have to drive to the Medlock at Mcginnis location,(next to Kroger). They really need to step up their game.

I rarely review anything, and especially not fast food chains. But Subway is shockingly inconsistent from location to location, and I have to disagree with the previous review: this is one of the better Subway locations. This appears to be the cleanest Subway in area. It is also very tiny. Due to the small space and crew, a large order can sometimes overwhelm the staff on-hand. So there can be a long line at times. However, the crew here does an excellent job of keeping things moving. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet.

I wish I could love this Subway more, but I don’t. Sure, it’s Subway. The food tastes the same, you know the menu already. All of the normal stuff is already decided by corporate suits. What makes a place like this is the employees and the cleanliness. I don’t recall it ever being dirty, so it passes there. However, the service is spotty and long lines develop often. The workers are nice, but then they aren’t. I know they’ve called me some names in Spanish a few times, but I’m a Gringo and don’t know what they are saying. And, I admit, I’m kinda hard o’ hearing but all of the ladies are short and don’t reach the top of glass and some barely reach the counter. I can’t ever understand what they are saying. I’ve finally figured out their routine and know bread, cheese, toasted, and sides are waiting they are asking about, in order. I have to ask them to repeat themselves so often. Yes, I’m deaf, but damn speak up please. Another instance was during lunch and a lady came in with her whole family and the neighborhood kids. I was behind them and I don’t mind waiting but just when they were about to pay(for about 8 sandwiches) she just had to get another sandwich and they basically stopped helping me and helped her complete her order. I was right in the middle of getting mine and then boom, they were gone… they were majorly understaffed that day and I was not in the mood for waiting any longer. Yet, I had to wait longer and longer as this lady figured out what she wanted… boo on her as well but I did not feel like they had my best interest in mind as well. Rant, blah, rant, boo… ok, I’m done. I love sandwiches and generally love Subway but I gotta find a new location.
