Walked in to place an order of a dozen and a half roses for our anniversary, which was that day. Although they didn’t have all the roses I needed, they were able to get the arrangement ready in a few hours. When I picked up the flowers, the roses were wrapped beautifully and with plenty of greens. Within a day, the roses were in full bloom, and they lasted for just over a week. Very satisfied overall. Great place to place orders ahead of time, but don’t expect to walk in and carry out flowers, which is what I see across many florists these days.

I called the number on the website and got someone’s personal voicemail. I left a msg. explaining I was looking for a florist. No call back. I called the second number 2 days later and was able to place an order. I placed the order over the phone for a $ 50 arrangement which ended up costing $ 65 with delivery and tax. Fine, I was really hoping for something beautiful based on reviews here. I advised it was for a retirement and she aid she would make it bright and cheery. My friend sent me a picture. It is probably 8 dull green flowers total, with 3 red roses. I’m so disappointed. I’m wondering if I’d walked in and picked out what I wanted if they would have provided better service. Seriously, I got maybe a $ 25 arrangement. Won’t order from here again. I’m embarrassed to even talk to my friend too :(

Even though I am writing this review during Valentine’s Day weekend, the flowers in question were actually delivered a few months ago for my anniversary. I had intended to write a review at that time, but forgot. Although I am not really a flower person(balloons rule), my husband really likes to purchase them for me. When I returned home and discovered this beautiful floral bouquet, I was blown away They were absolutely beautiful! Everything from the colors, to the variety and the actual arranging of the flowers was perfection. Flowers can be very boring and very predictable so I appreciate the creativity it takes to deliver a great floral presentation. Thank you!

My Husband ordered flowers for me for Christmas for the first time in 27 years. He picked an arrangement I would have picked. However, for the price the arrangement should last at least 7 days — it was very pretty and arrived today but the red roses in the arrangement are obviously a week old and will be dead by the end of the day tomorrow and the carnations are not as old but won’t last a week for sure. I will be calling tomorrow to either ask for a 50% refund or a new arrangement since my husband was thoughtful enough to order this in the first place. Roswell, GA

I’ve been a loyal and long time customer for several years. They have always exceeded mine and my wife’s expectations. The flowers are alway fresh and vibrate. They smell awesome and last for a very long time. What I love about this place is you tell them a price or give them a idea what you want. For me the happiest they bring to my wife makes them my number one choice. I won’t go anywhere else

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other. ~Chinese Proverb I had no expectations of finding either a loaf or a lily for a penny, but I was looking for a nice local flower shop when I found Florist at Windward. The shop is small and decorated fairly simple for a florist. The person working did not know a lot about the product, so I basically just asked for an arrangement and gave her a dollar amount to work with(more than a penny), which she said would be passed on to the owner. Needless to say, I was a little concerned. I had no need to worry. Flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful. Very happy with the arrangement and value for what I had paid. Now where can I get a good loaf of bread?

We used Florist at Windward for our wedding flowers(bouquets and reception centerpieces) and they did an AMAZING job. We received so many compliments on our flowers and they turned out exactly as I’d envisioned they would. I live out of state and to give them idea of what I liked, I emailed Natalie lots and lots of pictures of flowers from other peoples’ weddings. Our reception was at the Trolley Barn in Inman Park(highly recommend the venue, btw) so I wanted the flowers to be simple, sweetly pretty, and a tad rustic-and FaW was spot on. We had a wonderful experience with Florist at Windward and couldn’t have been happier with the flowers at our wedding.(And they were really affordable, always a plus as wedding costs can really add up!)

I ordered through this Florist with FTD — not sure where the ball was dropped, but it made the past valentines day pretty terrible. The florist was supposed to deliver flowers to my mother’s workplace who works in the area. they were SURE they would ge there before 5pm — but the ball was dropped, and they never did. They were even contacted around 4:30pm, and the establishment was«very confident» they would get delivered. My mother even waited around at her workplace until 5pm when she normally leaves earlier — just for the flowers. And they never came! I would definitely not recommend using this business. Ideally she would have had them earlier in the day so she could enjoy them, and show them off — not only did that not happen, they never even came at all.

Well, I recently became a customer of this establishment, and I have to say, I like this place! I went in looking for something to give to my plus one. After agonizing over whether to get the bakers’ dozen dozen(156) or just a dozen roses, I turned my attention to the perfect color. After finding no lavender, I selected a simple dozen red in a vase with some green stuff and some baby’s breath. I think she liked it :) The roses look awesome — several days later. They opened beautifully. I will most definitely be back. I’ll probably have to call ahead if I want to get the bakers’ dozen dozen :)

You get what you pay for. You certainly do with flowers. I’ll admit that I’ve been one of these cheap schmucks, buying crap flowers at the grocery store and Costco. Yeah, you can get roses for almost nothing these days. They also die quicker than the red shirted guy on an away mission in Star Trek. So because of guys like me, the traditional florist is having a tough time. That’s too bad. A recent visit to this florist has made me see the folly of my ways. I think my wife has enjoyed these roses ten times more than the $ 8 arrangements I get at Costco. Well worth it I think! So I came here about a week ago and was going to get something pre-arranged in their cooler. But after seeing the roses they had in stock, I changed my mind. The ladies there brought out a few single roses for me to compare. I asked for a dozen in a vase and waited while they put it together. After the sale, they gave me a nice little box to hold the arrangement in my car. I could have driven the Daytona 500 with these in my car and they wouldn’t have turned over. And on top of that, they walked them out to my car for me. Top notch service! More than a week later, the roses are still beautiful. They are also enormous! Before they opened fully, the buds were the size of baseballs. Now they are even larger. I’m just very impressed with these high quality flowers and the arrangement. And best of all, the price is about what I used to pay in my younger courtship days. No Windward premium here. So check out this store sometime. They are in the big shopping center near HH Gregg. Don’t be a chump with those wimpy grocery store flowers. Be a man and get your girl some real deal roses.
