I’ve frequent this place on several occasions and never had any issues. But today was the worse, I went after lunch, maybe around 1:30pm, the drive thru line was around to the front of the building, after about 15 minutes finally order was taken and another 5 minutes to get to the pay window. The cashier asked could I change my order to mild, at this point, I just wanted my food, so I agreed. She came back to tell me I had to wait until 3 minutes for fries. I asked to cancel my order, the manager came, was rude and did not ask any questions. This was the worse display of customer service I ever had to deal with.

I have frequently conducted business at this Popeye location off Old Milton Parkway and 400 where they have offered military discounts on my purchases. Recently I’ve been informed by one of their managers that they no longer offer military discount to individuals that served in the US military. I will no longer shop at this location

OMG this place is frigid. Teeth-chatteringly frigid. Music is LOUD and terrible. Service is great! The young man taking our order was knowledgeable about the product and helpful with suggestions as this was my first visit. It did take a few minutes to get our food but it is totally understandable that it’ll take a little longer. Our chicken was fresh and the side dishes were very good. I loved the food and will surely be back but I’ll be utilizing the drive-thru. I had a splitting headache, after eating just as quickly as possible, from the cold and the music. Is be interested to see if dining room attendance went up if these issues were rectified.

RUNBY A BUNCHOFGHETTOPEOPLE. WORSTSERVICEEVER!!! 1st off they put three orders in the small bag and just shoved the dessert on the side which fell out my bag when they handed it to me through the drive thru. thank goodness I checked my bag before I left because they forgot to give me one of my orders(chicken strip meal) I go inside and waited for someone to finally come up to me n I tell them you forgot a meal. they looked at me at told me I needed to bring my order In! So I had to go back to the car and get the food to prove to them that they didn’t give me my chicken strips. they made me feel like I was stealing extra chicken strips… wtf??? Are you kidding me .they put a half open mashed potatoes side in a bag which leaked in bag and now I didn’t even it it. I mean they couldn’t even package the food right come on now. really?!? I will not be going back to the horrible ran established place. don’t get your orders from here !!!

Love me some Popeye’s. Their service here is very polite and they handled the lunch crowd very well. I did see some cars waiting on their food but frankly, I’d rather wait a minute or two for hot, fresh food than have it sitting there getting stale. The place is very clean and everything was well stocked.

Going downhill in a big way. Have visited this location for years due to the great chicken. Service was always terrible with the staff either leaving out parts of the order, getting the order wrong, or making you wait for items to be cooked by parking around front. Don’t be surprised if you see a car or two parked outside the front doors when you arrive. They are waiting on their food. I and my family have always been loyal patrons, even when they made awful changes to their menu by doing away with po’boys and spicy/mild options. But they have finally managed to run us off. My son and I went by today and the chicken breast they gave me was the smallest I have ever seen. I posted a picture on this review to show I am not exaggerating. Usually, Popeye’s provides very generous portions which make up for the poor service. I drove back through the drive-thru and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that this is the new breast size that Popeye’s is providing and it was my tough luck if I didn’t like it. Popeye’s has always charged a premium for their chicken but it was worth it for the quality and tastiness of their recipe. Not any more… Update: Got a call from corporate. They assured me that the chicken breast was indeed small. They apologized for the poor customer service and will be sending a $ 25 gift card. At least corporate appears to be listening. Hopefully the manager at this location will get some more training.

The manager(at least the one today) at this location is the most unprofessional, rudest, «customer service» person I have ever met in my life. I am a manager of a call center near this location, and I know what customer service should be. The first time I had an issue with this manager, I shook it off as him potentially having a bad day since I had never seen him at this location before. After today’s visit, I am convinced that he alone has made me never want to go to this location again, and my co-workers who witnessed how upset I was once I got back to work empty handed when I paid for a meal. How does that happen? I simply returned to get two items that were not given to me, and was pretty much told that he didn’t ring me up for the missing items, 1 of which WASINCLUDED with the special. I would have shown him my receipt had I been given one. He slams a large cup on the counter and proceeds to taking drive thru orders and leaves me standing there for another 15 – 20 minutes. The only reason I left without pushing the issue was because they had a large number of people coming in(lunch hour) and it was clear that this person was too ignorant to have a conversation and own up to making a mistake. I left the order on the counter and walked out. Also, the combo was $ 3.49, so with my added item I was charged $ 5.33…so how is it that I didn’t pay for the items that I came back to retrieve? All I wanted was a refund at that point, not attitude from this person. Never going back to this place again.

Food is good but they never have it ready for drive-thru. I’ve been to this Popeye’s 3 times and this is the second time. There is always cars waiting out front of the store. Edit: Only seems to be a delay when you order Chicken Tenders.

Service is slow. You have about a 10% chance of getting your order right. The food is very good however so if your willing to deal with the problems you“ll get a decent meal

My wife was in the mood for some spicy chicken, so I made the mistake of suggesting this brand. The store was clean and the food quality was excellent and tasty. The portions for each of our three meals were tiny, and the price was quite high. I’ve eaten here in years past and don’t remember the portions being so stingy. Stick to the fingers as you seem to get more bang for your buck.
