I wouldn’t of put any stars if i could. This place is horrible. The service was very bad. One roll that we ordered tasted awful we wanted to return it and they gave us such a hard time and made angry faces. They made us feel so uncomfortable over there. If people say this is good sushi they haven’t eaten a good sushi roll in their life. If they choose to go to this place they’re better off going to a buffet and eating sushi over there.

Probably the best sushi place since we moved recently to the area. But sadly, still a downgrade to the places I frequented in NJ/NY

Loved this place. The sushi is great, rolls are creative and the owner, Phil, is awesome! Not a nicer guy out there. Fish was always fresh and tasted incredible. I use to prefer mainly sushi rolls before coming here, but Phil really opened my eyes to what’s out there. For example I never thought I would eat Uni, it seemed so unappetizing, but now it is my favorite! I use to eat here all the time but sadly not much lately because it is to far away.

Very good food. Fresh. Good quality. But portion on hibachi is very little(seriously like kid meals): Two hibachi, two rolls(mountain and samurai) ahi tower, sashimi(good portion), two waters. $ 100 — left hungry. Not sure I will be back.

I consider myself a sushi connoisseur, newly pregnant I couldn’t actually have any raw sushi rolls, but I had the cooked shrimp & soft shell crab rolls. First-the miso soup was AMAZING!!! Mmmm so delicious! We were the first ones in the small restaurant when it opened at 4:30pm on Sunday. There was one waitress and two sushi chefs. The rolls were very good, I would love to come back when I can eat the raw stuff. The service was limited as again there was one waitress and there were about 10 people at 4 – 5 different tables and the server seemed to forget about filling our water. Filling my water up when I am completely out or beforehand is my BIGGEST pet peeve, so take it as you will. All and all its a good pick for some quality sushi! Enjoy and don’t forget to tip your sushi chefs!

Fresh sushi and good service. The price is reasonable for the area. This is my family’s go to place when we crave for sushi. We’ve tried the dragon roll, rainbow roll and samurai roll. All were tasty and the portion is satisfying.

I love the rolls here! I am a huge nigiri fan, but our friends told us that the rolls are amazing, and I agree. AHITUNATOWER This is similar to the roe rice at Kang Nam on Buford and is my favorite dish here. It’s roe over rice and some seaweed salad, and mixed at the table for you. It’s a great dish to share as appetizer but I can have this whole dish to myself and I think I will next time! SEAREDABALONE Great roll. Baked on foil, the abalone is nice, flavorful and tender. They come in only 4 bites and perfect mouthful.

Best Ahi tower I have had, delicious blend of spices and different than a typical ahi tower. Next I had the dragon roll, mountain roll, rainbow roll, J bomb and 2 pieces of toro. My palette was overwhelmed with joy. Hands down, best sushi in Atlanta. I’m scared for my waistline and the fact that I don’t live far from here. O M G sooooo good, I am canceling all other memories of sushi prior to Sushi Uchi. Ok, greedy me just also ordered a Tiger roll… the bomb. Somebody get me outta here.

Located in cute plaza the restaurant is small. Sashimi salad was deliciously refreshing for the hot day. Ahi tuna tower was flavored brilliantly. We had the snow roll, spider roll and rainbow roll all were very different. The menu is not too diverse other than sushi.

Sushi uchi is my favorite sushi spot in Atlanta. Their sashimi and nigiri is absolutely fantastic and super fresh every visit. Their rolls are incredible. At this point we have tried almost every roll on the menu and I absolutely love the rainbow roll. I could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner. We always start with the miso soup and salad and they sure know how to do both well. Service is always quick. The only downside is that it’s a small place and I could imagine the wait being long if it was full. We have gone during prime hours and have never had to wait though.

I really liked the small intimate feel of the place as well as the sushi bar and being able to watch the chefs behind it work. As far as sushi I’m the area, its one of the better ones. I may be a little biased since I just came back from San Jose, but this sushi can’t be compared to some of the sushi I had back on the west coast. The fish were all fresh enough, but I was disappointed they had a really limited menu for plates. Most of the ordering is to be done al la carte. Combine that with what I felt were relatively smaller roll sizes and sashmi pieces, our bill racked up pretty fast. For four people, we ended up ordering a rainbow roll, mountain roll, dragon roll, tuna spring roll, two orders of salmon sashmi(5 pieces), and one spicy tuna roll to feel comfortably satisfied . Not bad, but eager to try other sushi places to find ‘the one’.

Very nice, friendly, and CLEAN sushi restaurant in Alpharetta serving fresh and delicious sushi. Here’s what we had: Toro nigiri: Oh yeah! Cucumber Salad: Spot on Avocado, Spicy Tuna & California Rolls: As expected and very fresh Seared Albacore with Kiwi roll: Awesome and seriously as god as advertised by other Unilocalers. Other people in our party were not so big on sushi(I know right?!!) and they ate the cooked entres. I didn’t try them but they looked good and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Actually, this is a HUGE plus for us because often times our families aren’t big on «raw fish» so we end up having to either order 10 California rolls or tempura everything when we go to sushi restaurants. This set up allows them to eat a meal they like and we get our Sushi. I will be back and so should you!

My coworkers raved about this place, and they’re not wrong. While it’s small, and a little off the road, the service and food are top notch. They have a printed page of lunch specials: bento boxes, regular rolls, special rolls, etc. The prices are cheaper for lunch, but they are not inexpensive; it will still be $ 10 for you lunch by the time you add tax and tip. The prices definitely affected my ordering, since the sashimi/nigiri were more than I wanted to spend for lunch. I opted for the one regular and one special roll for $ 10.95 and chose the spicy tuna and samurai rolls. The spicy tuna was nicer than average — lots of flavor, fresh tuna, and cucumber for some added crunch. I can’t remember the ingredients of the samurai roll, other than tuna and sweet potato, but it was fried and then drizzled with spicy sauce. Overall, it was tasty, and good for people who like lots of ingredients. I don’t think I’d order it again, since I tend to be more of a purist. My colleague got the chicken and shrimp hibachi, served with rice. It was a large portion, and he easily took half of it home to enjoy.

Best Sushi restaurant in Atlanta. I’ve been to many and this place beats them all. I have recommended it to numerous friends and ask of them come away from the experience saying the same thing — best in Atlanta. It is very clean and classy — the service is outstanding, but the two Sushi Chefs are amazing. Be sure to try the Samarai Roll — incredible! For a restaurant of this caliber, the prices are very reasonable. It is a must visit!
