Satisfied. Very good presentation. Fresh ingredients. Well put together. Nice selection of dishes.

Very nice place for lunch. Make sure you would better to be there before 12:00. Otherwise, you would need to wait few minutes.

The service is great the place is quiet and you can have privacy when seated in the booths, we were seated right away. The food is served as it comes out of the kitchen and sushi bar, so those who ordered sushi will get the food when it comes out and those who ordered from the kitchen will get hot dishes at a different time, even if everyone is having their order for dinner. Just and FYI. The menu has many different options of dishes, not just your typical fried rice. The sushi is consistently good.

I can’t believe that I didn’t write a review about Sushi Mito. It is a nice little Japanese restaurant tucked in the corner of Peachtree Corners. Their lunch special is always generous, especially for ladies. The one and only LADY’S LUNCHSPECIAL provides three courses, like a former lunch($ 17). What’s more amazing is, it’s filled with variety you can imagine: egg tofu, sashimi, grilled fish, boiled dish and so on. Even for dessert, there’s black coffee and coffee cake! Well, today I tried their lunch special, KIMCHIRAMEN, FRIEDCHICKEN and CALIFORNIAROLL. The fried chicken was the best. It was not tempura style, but the chicken was fresh and tasty. I didn’t like kimchi ramen. Nice try, but too salty, and a meh. SUSHI was wrapped with avocado and crab sticks, I guess. Not bad either. I was a little disappointed today for their kimchi ramen, and knocked down one star. The service was not very prompt for some reason. Maybe lady’s lunch is the only thing I would go to.

My «go to» for Japanese cuisine. Menu has a large variety, and I have never been disappointed. My favorites, though, are their ramens and donburis.

You could say that this was the meal that triggered Bébé’s arrival, as it was literally the last thing I ate before my water broke that night. AT had mentioned Sushi Mito to me several times in the past, but as Japanese food isn’t my go-to Asian cuisine due to lack of exposure, I never considered really coming. But during my pregnancy, I became immensely curious about the grub from this East Asian island country. Well, to be clear, I love good ramen and make the trip to the well-known ramen house in Suwanee, even though the distance is a pain and the service leaves a lot to be desired(thankfully, the same folks running that place has come in-town and once it is cool to hang out with Bébé out of our home, I’ll be heading over to try the new place). Anyway, back to Sushi Mito. So I decided that I wanted to try vegetarian rolls, as I had never had them before. If you read enough of my reviews or you know me personally, you know that I am a seafood hater. I know you want to revoke my Asian card but you totally can’t, because my parents hail from Vietnam and my eyes definitely don’t lie. I had been researching Japanese restaurants in the area where people mention veggie rolls and Sushi Mito popped up in my search and because AT had talked about it before, I thought it was the perfect occasion to go. He got some sashimi(I don’t remember which… Yikes!) and the shoyu ramen. The ramen was pretty good, especially the broth, but the noodles did not feel like fresh ones. I’m not an expert but they didn’t have enough of a toothy bite for me. We also got the beef loin and meatball skewers, both of which were excellent. I had only been to one other izakaya(Shoya), but I like the spaciousness and laid-back ambiance of Sushi Mito a bit more. Okay, now to my roll. I got the avocado tempura one and LOVED it. I actually cannot wait to come back to have it. I wanted to try dessert but was too full to have any. Another reason to return. Our server was attentive without being overly so and even had a dry sense of humor. I really enjoyed our experience and would love to come back to try more things on the menu. And to order my avocado tempura roll.

I’ve always been scouring Unilocal pages for good sushi places in the Duluth/suburbia area. I’ve always just been greeted with mediocre sushi, until my sister told me about this place her co-worker suggested. We hoped she’d be right since she was born and raised in Japan. She didn’t disappoint. My sister and I have been here a few times, each time it was always the same great experience. The menu is quite large. Take some time to look through and see what you want. I have yet to experience the cooked menu, but the sushi portions are great. Super fresh and always plated nicely, and they’re reasonable with the portions of food given to you for the price. Service is always kind and prompt. They can get a little busy and the restaurant isn’t what I would define as large, so plan accordingly if you’re bringing a large party. I want to one day sit at the bar perhaps and see what that experience is like, but so far sitting behind a table is perfectly fine for me. Sushi Mito is just a great, well rounded sushi place in the area with no major flaws and has a huge menu to suit everyone’s tastes.

My wife and I went to Sushi Mito on a Friday night for the first time. They have a strange host/payment system. The main host(who may be the owner) is also the only person that brings the bills and collects payment from all of the tables throughout the restaurant. This happened to be a pretty busy night, so he was completely overwhelmed with people waiting to put their name on the list for a table and dealing with checks for diners ending their meals. As far as the dining experience, they have a vast menu of sushi and other authentic Japanese items. We ordered seaweed salad, and a few other small appetizers and 4 sushi rolls. The food was excellent and fairly priced. Our waiter wasn’t great. He seemed pretty disinterested most of the evening but the food made up for it. We will likely be back when we are in the mood for sushi because this place is close to home. Hopefully the host/payment system is temporary, because it seemed chaotic and inefficient for a busy restaurant.

Came here for a friend’s birthday. We had made reservations but when arrived, no one had a clue about our reservation. Two ladies were going back and forth in a forge in language(assuming about our reservation). Finally, a lady asked if we were there for a birthday. I told her, yes, that we made reservations for a birthday. She then walked us over to another group who was also having a birthday celebration. When she told it was not our party, she then just sat us down at a booth that was too small for a party of 8. I then asked another man to get us another table and he then proceed to walk us over to a separate party room. The food was alright. The sushi was ok. Not as good as I expected however, the prices were decent. To me, the menu was limited.

So glad we tried this place! Our experience started out questionably when several parties were seated before us whose names were after ours on the wait list. Once seated we waited a while longer for service and get drinks, but that was ok by me since we had entertainment of the sushi bar chefs to watch… all that being said, the food was DEFINITELY worth the wait and we will be back soon! We ordered from a few different sections of the VERY impressive menu(all items have handy pictures to reference). –Tempura Udon Soba– first time trying Soba. Very good and Tempura shrimp/veggies on side were perfectly light and crispy –Miso Black Cod– amazing! A must order item! –Fried Softshell Crab– very good –Nigiri– all very fresh. Nightly special Horse Mackarel was our fav. –Sensuke(sp?) Roll– Really light and fresh tasting. Riceless roll wrapped in cucumber. Overall great place with solid rolls/nigiri, and option to try some other fun out of ordinary Japanese cuisine.

Sushi Mito is a small, intimate Japanese restaurant. The staff are not bad by any means, but they’re really not spectacular either; they’re just kind of… there. They give you the food with little interaction, you eat it, they ask how you’re doing a grand total of 1(possibly 2) times, and you ask for the check. It’s been this way all four times I have gone with a friend. However, I will say that the food is delicious here. Get the miso ramen!

There is a serious decline of quality. It is no longer worth the price I pay. The gyutan, beef tongue is too hard to chew. Not eatable. zero out of five. The gyudon’s rice, beef and rice is soaked with too much juice, hurting texture of rice. this is fast food chain level gyudon. two out of five. the grilled octopus is too sweet. three out of five. Ramen is bad as well. Man, I cannot believe this is the same restaurant I dined before. It has become bad choice. Avoid this place if you have a taste for good Asian food. If you have to go, only order the grilled dishes.

Ramen review: Tonkotsu ramen is not up to the standards of other ramen joints in town. Weak broth — I expect tonkotsu ramen to remind me of my mortality with rich, decadent, artery-clogging broth. Sushi Mito’s version is more like tonkotsu lite. Charshu pork is adequate. Noodles reminded me of my college days, and not in a good way. Boiled egg — and it’s good that it comes with one — was hard-boiled instead of soft. Cutting the egg with chopsticks, releasing the yolk into the broth, enriching it, is one of the pleasures of tonkotsu ramen. So, not very good. Service was quite fine — very friendly, prompt, not intrusive. Full marks on service. The space is nice, too. Being a singleton, I was seated at the bar, which is not my preference but I understand. Comfortable seat. No obnoxious music, something I value highly. One of the negatives of my favorite ramen joint is that I get my ears assaulted there. Not so at Sushi Mito. In all, I’m afraid I have to say«Meh, I’ve experienced better.» Your experience may differ, particularly if you try the sushi or other items on the menu. This is strictly a ramen review.

One of my concerns moving from a larger metropolitan area(DC) to here was finding a great Sushi spot that was nearby. To might delight I found Sushi Mito on Unilocal, which had high praises with many reviews. All the positive comments were spot on. My family and I have been here in the area for just a few months and we have eaten here easily a dozen times already. We’ve done mostly dine in but a few takes out. Regardless, every meal has been fantastic. The place is truly an authentic Japanese restaurant. I love walking into a sushi place and seeing all the chefs are Japanese. That speaks volumes quite honestly. The food comes out quickly, taste fantastic and most of all, the Sushi is über fresh. If you’re looking for a good quality Japanese restaurant, you won’t be disappointed here. Do yourself a favor and give it a go!

This is an updated review on my recent visit for lunch from work. I got the Shoyu Ramen(~$ 10). It was exactly what I was craving – a warm noodle soup that provided me with comfort in this cold Georgia weather. I love the massive amount of crunchy bean sprout, the perfect-not-too-salty broth, and yummy noodles. The remodel with additional booths in place of tables(who doesn’t love a comfty booth?) gives this restaurant an edgy and modern vibe. The service was on point as usual. I’ve visited this place multiple times, even referring friends and family, and have yet to be disappointed(knock on wood). My friends also rave about the food and service, which just affirms the deserving 5-STAR for me and this restaurant.

Came here for lunch with a friend and was really impressed! The service was fast and attentive — they never let my water glass empty and checked on us multiple times Had the sashimi, sushi, tempura lunch box special(L42) for $ 14.99 that came with sashimi(2 pieces of tuna, yellow tail, and salmon), sushi(a tuna, a salmon, a shrimp, 4 pieces of California roll), warm, crispy tempura, 2 fried shrimp balls, white rice, miso soup, and salad with a delicious citrus ginger dressing. The fish quality was fresh and good. The tempura was hot and crispy but not greasy and dripping in oil. I really enjoyed the lunch and it was a great price!

Why don’t I come here more? I just love the relaxing and attentive environment at this Japanese restaurant. The menu is huge! Whatever craving you have is certainly available. Today I’m here at lunchtime and I ordered the Ladies’ Lunch special. I have eyed this item over the years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fresh and simple miso soup and salad to start, then a large box with chawanmushi(a custard with bits of mushroom and things), agedashi tofu and sashimi on sushi rice — all of which were great. Complimentary green tea accompanied lunch. A tiny dessert and coffee completed the Ladies’ lunch. What really surprised me was the great service. Next I want to return for Izakaya food at the bar.

Last year I moved into Norcross and started bookmaking a few places and Sushi Mito was one of those places. One afternoon was laying about not feeling well and read Daniels review that’s when I got up, got dressed and a few minutes later was walking through the doors. Having been here several times can say the sushi is fresh and the cooked items are tasty. Great lunch deals offered on certain days of the week, it may be ramen one day or a bento box another investigate this. Every month dinner specials and the«Ladies Dinner» changes and have found them a great value and good portion size. The dinning room has gone through a bit of renovation too gone are the tables that were scattered about nice booths have been put in check it out. *Additional photos are available.

I’m not sure why I haven’t heard of Sushi Mito, but I’m glad my friend invited me here for dinner. Located in a shopping plaza, parking isn’t an issue. Once inside, I noticed tables in the open. Our table, since there were five of us, was inside a private booth. Our server brought us hot tea(complimentary). My friend agreed on a deal to split the tonkatsu ramen($ 9.95) and a Chirashi($ 22) with me. The meals came with a complimentary bowl of miso soup and a salad with ginger dressing. The miso soup was chock full of tofu and seaweed(mmm) and the ginger dressing on the salad didn’t disappoint! The tonkatsu ramen had a milky broth and seemed slightly lacking in flavor. However, I’ve had much worse, as I have had ramen that is too salty as well as ramen that is too mild. The server brought us some chili paste per our request, which really gives it a kick. The Chirashi was pretty good, with some fresh slices of fish for $ 22 on seasoned sushi rice. I was sad there was only one slice of salmon, as it makes it difficult to split. There weren’t those premium cuts of toro or uni, and there wasn’t any scallop or amoebi, but the sashimi provided was very fresh and high quality Overall, a solid sushi joint. I would love to give some of the sushi rolls a try next time I’m back. This isn’t Circle Sushi, but for the prices, it’s definitely worth the visit.

I’ve been on a sushi binge… yeah, that gets kinda expensive…, but I came to a curious realization I might dislike tuna given every place I’ve gotten it at, save a few, induces a gag reflex. Now, I know, that maybe it’s just, straight up, not fresh. Mito’s mighty maguro verdict? Faaa-resh!(At least this time around.) It did not induce gagging and had a nice subtle flavor of deliciousness. I normally even dislike using wasabi to a degree, but found the wasabi here palatable. We came with full desire to buy off the sushi menu, but wow at all of the izakaya items! The selection is impressive. I can’t afford a lot of it, but I can indulge in enough without breaking my bank. Our table of four ended up with a tiny feast, mostly on one half as my side broke down a sashimi plate & mini bento with eel and plate of takoyaki. The takoyaki ranking some of the best to better in Atlanta that we’ve had. Sashimi platter– all fresh, all so good— or at least the pieces I was allowed to have. Haha. The mini bento with eel– I got this for mostly the variety it served, and I couldn’t choose as the menu had a lot of good options. The eel was a bit fattier, than the usual, but was delicious all the same. Maguro, hamachi, and salmon nigiri were good along with the small ebi, crab, and octopus side dish. The the majority of the bento was made up of a variety of tempura– sweet potato, shrimp, broccoli, acorn squash, and eggplant. Takoyaki– Big crowd favorite. we ordered 2 sets. Piping hot and fresh with a reasonable amount of bonito flake-age going on. At first, the mayo on the side was kinda an «oh? okay…» but after thinking about it, it’s kinda nice they do that. Some people really hate mayo. Personally, I love it drizzled over it, but mayo aside, these are some pretty good little tako balls. The sushi menu actually was the least impressive thing, which is by no means bothering, because gimmicky rolls are only so-so in my book… I usually prefer the nigiri anyway. Mito has my vote on detail, flavor, presentation, freshness, and a comprehensive menu to boot. I’ll definitely be back, maybe avoiding tempura and just loading up on that delicious izakaya menu. Oshinko and soft shell crab, I’ll return for you!
