The family friendly atmosphere is perfect for a Sunday morning! I recommend tasting the cinnamon toast French toast instead of the regular; flavor and crisp edges make it true to its name.

Yeah… drive by this place all the time and it’s always packed. Lots of trailer trucks in the parking lot – that kind of thing so I figured it was a good greasy spoon. It was 11AM-ish on a Saturday so it was a tight squeeze, which is fine. Ordered the bacon/sausage/ham skillet and wife ordered an omelet. Food took a while and arrived less than piping hot. Still it was pretty good and was about ½way through when a COCKROACH appeared from behind the napkin dispenser and strolled across the table towards the jelly bowl. That was it. Napkinned the roach, took it to the cash register and showed the manager why we wouldn’t be paying, and walked out – never to be heard from again.

My husband and my kids love coming here for breakfast. We love the cream chicken soup they serve with bread on the side. Which by the way it’s free. Yes free!!! My kids just get full with the small soup and the bread. Us on the other hand order eggs with pancakes and bacon. The food is delicious!!! It’s a breakfast place that everyone needs to try! You won’t be disappointed, the workers are really nice and friendly.

I sorry but the food was horrible! I sent eggs back three times for being over cooked. I’ve had a few other things there and wasn’t impressed. I’ve gone there because of meeting others there to eat. I figured I’d order breakfast because it’s not hard to make. But if you can’t cook eggs I’m sorry you need a better cook,!

As other reviewers have noted you get soup with everything including breakfast items. Kinda strange but kinda cool too. The soup is actually pretty good but the food is just average.

I went here last Sunday for brunch with my family and we definitely enjoyed it. The only thing my family did not like was the coffee and the way the waiter handled the coffee. She would slam the coffee pot on the table. I thought I was going to get burned and a few times I had to cover myself with the menu just for precaution. Besides that, the dishes were perfectly portioned and the food tasted great. We definitely finished every last bit of food. I ordered a veggie skillet with the eggs sunny side up and a side of pancakes mmm. The waitress did offer soup which I now regret not getting because I am sure I would have enjoyed it. Other things that were a plus were the comfortable booths and the décor! The restaurant is mostly decorated with fake flowers which I find to be adorable and weird but in a good way. If I am ever in that area again, I will definitely stop by!

Steer clear! Chef Ramsey where are you when we need you!?! All tastes prepackaged, precooked, frozen. Had pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash. All less than mediocre at best. Weak coffee. Bright spots were service. Toni was really attentive and sweet. Pancakes were decent. Potato pancakes though probably bought frozen were decent. Heard loud banging behind wall of our booth. Décor is memorial to vets who died in service which I love but felt like I was at a funeral service.

You know I am really happy we stopped here before the flea market down the block. The waitress was just sweet as pie and allowed us to take out time. Coffee was fresh every time she passed through and she was very hospitable. Even stopped and talked to us for a while although the place was busy. It didn’t matter, she wanted us to feel at home and I can appreciate that. I ordered a simple breakfast of grits and two eggs with toast, and just how I like them, they were served exactly! She said that they take pride in giving their clients exactly what they order and take extra care in respecting the food. You can see this, as not too many places will take their time to not only ask you how you like your food, but do you want it all together or would you like some items first. I like that and can appreciate this to the tenth degree. The place was very well kept, the rest rooms were very tiddy and the one of the workers(server) came in before me to the restroom and was very meticulous with his hand washing technique which tells me that the workers are very well trained in working with the public. He even made sure he didn’t touch the door after he washed his hands without a piece of paper. Well once again, I will say that the food is excellent and very well made. The staff is adorable(she got tipped well for this) and over all I definitely will be returning since they did everything right the first time for me and I watch little details if I am going to be a return customer. I say that even on a Sunday, come on in and enjoy not only their freshly made coffee, but the food of course. Its very well made and this is a plus.

Love this place the owner is a great guy. Always there to and takes the time to get to know his customers. I took my grandmother there a lot and he always said hi to her and escorted her to the table! I’ve been going since I was a kid and now take my kids!

Did not like how the owner/manager George used racial terminology to address minorities. Felt very uncomfortable will not be back. Life is to short for racism.

My dad’s favorite breakfast place, you always get free soup which is awesome, I’ve gotten the denver omlette,(great) the seafood skillet(pretty good) the mexican casserole(really good) and the shrimp and crab salad(good) even though it always looks crowded, were usually seated and served pretty quickly

There really isn’t much to say about this place. Its an over all mediocre place. They give away free soup, even if you just get coffee. I usually get an omelette of some sort. They really do get points for being a speedy breakfast joint. I have never had a problem with service here, I’ve been going here for about a year now. My girlfriend and I enjoy going out for breakfast on Sundays, and its right down the street. But honestly, if it wasn’t so close, I probably wouldn’t ever go. If you’re looking for a place that is fast, decent, and cheap. You found your placed.

Free soup with your breakfast, and free soup to take home with you? It was great soup too! The service is fast, efficient and great! My water and coffee were always full. I had potato pancakes and they were out of the box, so don’t expect fresh made ones. However, they were pretty good. But my sister had the crepes and I tried them as well and thought they were a bit too thick and too eggy for my taste. Definitely a good, fast and inexpensive breakfast though.

This place is really good. They have another smaller location called George’s on 117/Pulaski, too. This one on 127 is bigger & fills up fast in the morning & on a Sunday. I like everything on the menu, haven’t ordered anything I didn’t like. Coffee is endless & yes there is often a complimentary soup offered… Either that or complimentary donuts. The staff is really nice & fast. It’s a friendly local diner worth a try!

Cheap, hearty breakfasts at ridiculously reasonable prices. This place is four stars all the way around except for its bathrooms’ wheelchair inaccessibility – and the fact that there’s racist graffiti in the men’s-room stall. I understand that businesses aren’t responsible for how people deface their property, but there are some messages that should be blotted out at all costs. If you have to sand down the partition, so be it. Better yet, why not just paint over it and put some kind of tape over that? The servers are very friendly, as is George, the owner. He’s got an out-of-control Stalin mustache going on, but it’s really cool. I’ve got a decent amount of facial hair, and I could never grow that mustache. Maximum respect. You can get free soup as well.

I am a big fan of breakfast diners since I love breakfast foods in general. I live close to eggman’s but today was my first time here. It’s a monday morning and I met a friend who works a weird shift and just got off work. It was 10am and we were seated right away, given coffee right away, and the waitress was super friendly and fast. Overall my food was a look like most diner meals. The menu is pretty extensive and I may have to come back for lunch sometime. Overall, I like this place. Our total was $ 21 for two coffees and two breakfast meals. Portion seemed about right and the service was good.

A pretty ideal place to grab breakfast or lunch when you’re in the area. My GF’s mother has been friends with the owner, George, for many years. George would be the giant handlebar mustachioed Greek guy. I finally met him for the first time, and he seems like a cool dude. Although I must admit that huge old bearded and mustachioed white guys make me a little nervous. I digress. Their menu is quite extensive. So much so that you may have trouble making up your mind on what to order. That was the case with me. But off the bat I knew I wanted the soup of the day, which is cream of chicken on Sundays. I’ve really taken a liking to cream of chicken soup recently, and they make it very good here! Then I eventually opted for the«Border Skillet», which you can probably guess by the condescension of the whole«border» ordeal that it has a Mexican twist to it. Said skillet consisted of cooked vegetables including onions, fresh jalapenos, salsa and potatoes. On top of that was steak and two eggs which I ordered over-easy. Overall it was very tasty and good. Not out-of-this-world good to where adding condiments would be deemed blasphemous. It could be because I absolutely demand ketchup on my fried potatoes, and I put Lousiana hot sauce on everything when available. But whatevs. Those things made it taste even better to me. A solid three and a half star place in my world. If you’re craving breakfast and she’s craving a sandwhich, Eggmans is a good place to go because of it’s variety. You’ll find American classics and lots of Grecian specialties. Would definitely come back.
