Personally, I believe this is one of the better places for Chinese Food. Their food is delicious and I have friends in the area who have been going there for over 15 years. I can recognize when food is cooked with MSG and I don’t taste MSG in the food this place. I prefer the taste(and size portioning) of this place over Panda Express or Tasty Goody(gross). And that is because the other two places are more expensive! This place is very«old school» …very late 90’s to early 2000’s and it gives that feel/ambiance at times; but it is very cool and clean. The employees are very friendly and courteous, and look like they are willing to go the extra mile.

Came here and at the end they said minimum charge for credit card is $ 10 with .50c fee. Well i didnt have cash with me and wouldnt want to make the drive out for that so I left. I’m kind of glad that happened because the food looks terrible and she dropped a piece of chicken on the counter and decided to throw in back onto the plate. Most likely she will now dump these food back into the serving tray. She spoke little to no english and didn’t even know what I was saying like she was frighten to talk or answer.

Our first time! My wife loved it! She already claimed it as our place. Clean and they made the food fresh even though there was still food there that they could of serviced us… Excellent customer service and we will be back!

Do not confuse this establishment with the delicious Royal Panda in Claremont. Although the signage, layout, and menu appear to be nearly identical, management says they are not affiliated. And the food confirms that! The kung pao chicken should be called Kung Pao Celery because large pieces of celery outnumber the chicken about ten-to-one and there were no water chestnuts, either. Why is celery in there at all? Peanuts were not offered and the taste was very bland. The mandarin orange chicken had numerous large pieces of unidentifiable fried gristle and so-so flavor until I stopped from grossness. Both entrees as well as the chow mein and fried rice smelled«off». The service was, however, fast and friendly.

The food is pretty poor quality even for Chinese fast food. The orange chicken is all dough very minimal chicken and it’s super salty. All the broccoli was old and not fresh. You can see yellow on the crown of all the broccoli. I know Chinese fast food is usually not quality food but this was the worst I’ve ever been too. They don’t accept credit cards for purchases under $ 10 and they won’t let you have vegetables as one of your staples instead or rice or chow mein. It’s considered an entrée. I could live w the last two complaints if they had tasty orange chicken but this place is horrible. This isn’t even you get what you pay for. You get way less.

I love there spicy chicken and beef broccoli with chow mien. I also love there chicken egg rolls so good. Very good prices and a lot of people come here for a quick dinner or even lunch

Waited alone in the dining room for 5 minutes. No one noticed me or came to take my order. I left without anyone knowing I had been there. I’d give it 1 star, but their food is fair, but there’s so many other options for Chinese food in this area that I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

There chicken was dried up and hard to chew it felt like you were eating beef jerky. And there chow mein was hard. Just did not like the visit..

Ah the late 90’s … Plaid, Keenan & Kel, inflatable furniture, and of course, janky Chinese food. I grew up on this stuff, probably not the greatest thing to feed your kids. Nonetheless, I have fond memories of the stuff. I was in the area for work and decided to take a trip down memory panda lane. I walked in and immediately felt 8 years old again … 90’s décor, uninterested staff, old heat lamp aged food … Aahh childhood. Literally exactly as I remember it 15+ years ago. I ordered what my 8 year old self would have ordered, teriyaki chicken with noodles and rice. One look at the portions and it was no wonder I grew up a chubby kid, I think 3 people could have shared a plate. I knew that if I didn’t have such nostalgia for this place I would’ve tossed the food, but I ate most of it. It was exceptionally bland and tasted about 3 months old lol … Even though I question that A rating on the front door and my stomach felt queasy for the rest of the day, the trip back in time was worth it. I probably won’t come back soon … I only get nostalgic every couple of years, but hopefully this place is still here when I do. It was really a part of my childhood :)

I grew up eating this chinese food and it’s because it’s delicious! They have a different, and BETTER taste than the Panda Express brand.

I wasn’t very satisfied with the quality of food. I stopped in for lunch and asked the girl behind the counter what she would recommend due to it being my first time at this place I thought it would be a great way to start. She just responded that everyone has different tastes… I know that’s true but as a business it gives you the opportunity to connect with the customer and offer your best dish. My food had no taste and was barely warm and I just didn’t really enjoy experience. Maybe an off day but with the other reviews seems it’s the norm

It was quick and it was tasty. Needed a late night dinner and the food actually was pretty fresh. Not totally impressed by the sweet and sour pork, but the mushroom chicken, orange chicken and chow mien were pretty tasty.

Another place my family and I have frequented over the years. The quality has gone down since out first times here but we still occasionally eat here as it’s still better fast Chinese than other local places that we have tried. The Orange chicken used to be so much better than what I had tonight and my family wasn’t all«this is so good» like we used to.

Love this place, but I know it is just fast take out, however I find the food to be very fresh with large portions. BBQ Pork and the War soup are my favorites. $ 5.00 for a quick dinner with friendly service… what more do you need?

Thats a — star btw, I could not believe this place, the word nasty makes this place sound good… the food was horrible, customer service, Im not sure the girl could talk, extremely rude, once I saw the«cook» picking something out of one of the items, wiping it off on the trash, then picking again, I was done. Oh btw, my daughter and I had upsets stomach the entire night, go figure!

Decent/average run of the mill Chinese combo plate spot. Nothin award winning but I work close by. Would’ve given this place 3 stars but I’m going off of today’s performance. Went outside of my normal teriyaki chicken and steamed rice and ordered the shrimp fried rice. OMG waaaaaaay to much green onion and heavy heavy oil taste. Yuck! I couldnt eat it!!! UGH! So I just ate the shrimp off the top. Never again! I’ll just stick to the norm whenever/if I come back.

I’m a big fan of Chinese fast food kitchens. When i’m in a hurry and in the area, this is one I go to often. The service is very friendly, and even when there’s a line, it will move along quick. The selection isn’t as huge as some of the other ones in the area. But try to think of this place like the Chinese equivalent of a greasy spoon burger joint. They have all the basics, and everything tastes good in that«you’ll feel guilty the next day, but it’s completely worth it» kinda way. Personally, I have never tried the rice so I can’t attest to it. I’m an «all Lo Mein» kind of person. But in that department, they do fine. When it comes to the Orange or Lemon Chicken(this is the only place i’ve ever been to that offers Lemon, incidentally), I suggest testing a piece first. There’s a magic amount of time in between when they refill the tray to when the chicken has been marinating enough to be just that perfect combination of sauce and crunch that I really enjoy. But testing is the only way to know for sure, and they are glad to let you sample their food. I’ve tried most of the menu, but I have to give honorable mention specifically to their CRABRANGOONS. Like most of their special sides, they don’t languish under heat lamps all day. These babies are made to order. So they are always fresh. But unlike a lot of places that make Rangoons with simply a glob of cream cheese, they manage to mix together the perfect combination of cheese and crab. They are so good, I find myself wondering in there just to spend the $ 3 on a six pack of them. Completely worth it every time. Royal Panda isn’t fine chinese dining. I’m also sure if you looked that you could find a place that serves the same food for slightly cheaper. But if you like that quick guilty pleasure that only a hole in the wall Chinese fast food place can bring you… ROYALPANDA may be the place for you! Also… CRABRANGOONS! Get some!

In previous experiences I have had stomach problems because they use a lot of oil and sauces that don’t agree with me. However, they have the best damn green beans I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I literally went here just to get them and some fried rice like 5 days in a row(I’m pretty sure they know my face enough to call me a regular). Pros: Good food/tasty Friendly staff Cheap drinks Bathroom is always clean Open after work(~9pm) Good food for the price Cons: Received a B grade Many items have too much sauce, grease, or oil I will still continue to come here, although I wish they would do something about bumping up their grade from a B to an A.
