So — my husband thought his regular cheeseburger was good — he’s not picky. I thought I’d go for the grilled cheese because we were going to a movie and I didn’t want anything really heavy. Little did I know(and I asked before I ordered it what it was like and if it was good) that it was smaller than a kids meal entre. It was a small hamburger bun turned inside out with two small pieces of yellow American singles barely heated(the cheese wasn’t melted) for $ 3.99. Obviously I asked them if they were kidding. To their credit they did offer to remake it(no way) and then agreed to replace it. I offered to pay the difference but they said no — but I specifically said I wanted a regular which is two parties but they gave me one — and BtW — don’t ever order just the one because you won’t be able to taste the meat — it’s paper thin.

I really can’t figure out why the location I ate at tonight was not an option in this review. This review is for Five Guys in Winter Springs and I’m so glad this location is finally open. Even though it used to be a cici pizza I really like this place as a burger place. Great burgers and fries and now milk shakes that were great! I’ll be back often.

I had the oddest experience. I usually love five guys, but this time things were odd. The fries were bland and not in their usual abundance. The burgers were overdone for my taste as well. The fries were not worth eating. I overheard one employee ask another one if they seasoned the fries and the other employee replied that they didn’t have time.

I always enjoy 5 guys and this wasn’t any different. The small burger is more than enough for me & my husband & I split the small fries. He also fills up in peanuts. The only down side is the music seems to always be too loud & makes enjoyable conversation difficult, but is a great place for a burger fix.

This chain has good food /burgers. This location has very rude /unhappy employees. I’ve been twice now and thought the first time was just a bad day. If i’m spending $ 10 – 15 on a burger and fries I don’t want to feel like I’ve offended someone just for placing an order. Rude, uncaring employees make this location not worth it for me.

Stopped in at 9:45pm, yes they close at 10 so I planned on getting it to go. I was told sorry, we are out of hamburger patties. SERIOUSLY? Just be honest and say you are closed or closing. I would have respected that a lot more than we are out of hamburger.

Normally I dislike chain restaurants, but there is just nothing to dislike about a five guys burger. Fresh, huge, yummy… DAYUM indeed. Well worth the price. BTW They lose a star because one time the grease from the bag of fries seeped onto the dress I was wearing when I put the bag on my lap in the car. I liked that dress. They are lucky I like the fries more!

I recently went to a five guys and I had a great experience. First after you order you can eat free peanuts while you wait for your food, second the portions are great a little cheeseburger is a great size and little fries is a great size also. The burger was tasty and the fries were excellent. I will definitely go back soon.

I was first introduced to Five Guys when I lived in Washington DC. It quickly became one of my favorite places to eat. The food is fresh, I personally love the bacon cheeseburger, and they give you more than enough fries to fix my craving. The cashier who assisted me was kind, smiley, and attentive. She really helped make the experience wonderful. I expect nothing less. I came with my family during a busy time but our food came out hot and in a timely manner. I am grateful!!! It doesn’t taste like fast food here, the food doesn’t taste processed and full of fillers. It tastes home cooked and isn’t rushed. I’m stomach is happy and so are my tastebuds.

I got a Little Cheeseburger, which is more than I can typically eat. The burgers are quite tasty, but frankly, I come here for the fries! They have both regular and cajun spiced fries and I love them both. The service is usually pretty quick, the staff is always nice. This is one of our«go to» burger places.

Standard Five Guys food. They have a consistency across their stores. I don’t go to these places often but when I do I enjoy them. The regular burger and small fries are enough for one person.

Well here I am at five guys and ordered a veggie burger go figure. I’ll let you know after the taste test. Phenomenal burger and guess what I don’t feel like being run over by a steam roller. I would definitely order this again. The fries, well how can go wrong with something grown in Idaho. Awesome and easily shareable.

I have not been to a Five Guys in a while. Now I know why. Pretty high prices for what you get. 2 little burgers 1regular fry, 2 drinks $ 18! Skimped on toppings. Filthy floors.

I started working here back before it was even open. I was walking by with my mom in January 2007, and one of the owners was sitting outside with a table and a stack of applications. I applied and was called back the next day. We trained for a couple months as they finished the building, and then we opened. I worked here for 11 months, and then left to move to New York once I graduated in December. So as I write this review, I write it both as someone who has seen the inner workings and also as someone who has been a mere customer. While working here, I was highly impressed with the freshness of the food. We would arrive well before the restaurant opened, and would chop all the onions, slice the tomatoes, hand cut and wash the potatoes that were going to be used for fries, pull the lettuce, and weigh out the chop meat, ensuring that everything that was going to be used that day was fresh and prepared that very morning. Nothing got reused the following day, and nothing was frozen. Seven years later, the food is still just as good and fresh as before, but the extreme drive for professionalism and cleanliness is now gone. That first year that they were open, there was an extreme push for everything to be sanitary and spotless. Employees never touched even so much as their apron without trading out their gloves, and it was actually something that was shouted frequently. «Change your gloves!» was a playful yet serious direction shouted from one employee or group of employees to another employee doing something to compromise the cleanliness of their gloves. All day long, you could hear«Change your gloves!» Being in there now, this does not seem to be said even infrequently. Last week, I came here three days over the course of a five day period. I witnessed numerous employees adjusting their shirts, fixing their Five Guys hat, or even sweeping, and not changing out their gloves. And no one said a word. A stark contrast from when I worked here. Also, the floors were kept spotless back then, but now are dirty and sticky. The bathrooms used to be inspected on the hour, but now were missing toilet paper and had wet napkins stuck to the walls. «Quality control» was the position name for the person who handed out food to the customers. He’s the guy that yells«order 70»… Back in the day, we were instructed that if you were on quality control, you smiled at all times, and always looked the person in the eyes as you handed them their food. Now, your order number is yelled out and then your food is placed on the counter, and the quality control guy goes back to where he was, leaving you to pick your food up on your own. Having your food handed to you is a very small thing, but it goes a long way. I understand that people get lax as businesses get older, but back in the day this place seemed almost a pioneer in the fast food industry. Even though it was, technically, fast food, it did not feel like a fast food joint. Now, if feels no different than being inside a McDonald’s or Burger King.

I wasn’t sure if I should rate 3 or 4 stars. The burgers are okay. but a little on the soggy side. Although that could be because we’ve been getting take out the last couple times. so a warm burger wrapped in foil may be the cause of that. To top it off the burgers make me nauseous a couple hours after I eat them. I dont eat here much but the last couple times this has happened. its possible im just not used to eating greasy food often. there was a time I could eat McDonalds several times a week. now just the thought of a burger from there sickens me. the cajun frys are awesome though. the staff is friendly. so all in all. if your looking for decent food, 5 guys should do just fine.

This is really an amazing place– Good place to hang out in the evenings and weekends. It is pretty close to Cranes roost park in Altmonte springs. It is close to the Mall. Ideal location Service done by Cody –very helpful, she is reserved, quiet, but highly ethical and honest at work. Daniel does a great work, he helps out in the kitchen. David is a great cashier. He is very quick and sharp person. He has a type of inviting personality to help customers.

One of the best burgers spots in Orlando hands-down. I’ve been eating here for a while and am surprised I’ve never reviewed it. You won’t find any chicken sandwiches on the menu – just burgers, hot dogs and fries. They only do a few things but they do them well. I especially like the skin-on fries, those seem to be hard to find in the South for whatever reason. If you go there for lunch during the week get there early the place fills up quick!

This place is delish — I normally get the one patty hamburger which then I add on the(free) additions: the basics like mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup. and then some others which you don’t always find grilled mushrooms, green peppers, jalapeño peppers. For those who don’t desire the burger they offer hots dogs, veggie sandwich and grilled cheese but I’m such a carnivore that I cannot resist that juice burger. The little burger is a simple one patty whereas the hamburger is two. The fries which comes in a medium or large(which will feed three!) are yummy. Oh. and there’s free peanuts which you can snack on till your meal arrives.
