We were greeted by a cashier with the personality of a fence post. After paying over $ 40 for two people, we stepped over to the hostess area where they take you to be seated. And stood there and waited. And waited. Finally a lady who had been standing about 15 feet away walked over and took us to our table and said that someone would be right over to take our beverage order. As we sat there we both realized that we could still smell the acrid stench of stale tobacco smoke wafting in from the casino-not what either of us wanted to smell while we had dinner. And as other people were being seated and someone was taking their beverage orders, no one came to take ours. So we sat there and waited. And waited. After 10 minutes I finally walked over and asked the lady at the hostess station when someone would be there to take our beverage order; she seemed miffed that I would ask her about that. Finally someone came and took our beverage order and we were free to go to the buffet. While most of the food looks good, there were a few things that were absolutely terrible. The prime rib was incredibly tough-to the point that I left most of it on my plate because I could neither cut nor chew it. My wife also left the bulk of her prime rib on her plate. I had a pork chop that, while fairly tasty, was dry as shoe leather. I also had some fried chicken that, when I took my first bite, I realized that it barely room temperature(within 45 seconds of taking it off the buffet). Most of the items on the buffet seemed not to be very warm-I also tried some cheese sticks that were still cold in the middle. Not just cool, but downright fresh from the freezer cold. I also never was able to get my water refilled. My glass was empty for most of my meal, and while several wait staff walked by, none bothered to notice my empty glass. All in all, there are far better values out there than $ 20/person for mediocre food and very poor service.

This buffet is fantastic for the price. $ 13 gets you full service, unlimited(non-alcoholic) beverages, and any kind of food you could think of. The service was hands down amazing. I’m still stuffed! I tried clam chowder and it was fantastic. My other dishes were: grilled tilapia, shrimp cocktail, chicken fried steak with gravy, bacon, Denver scrambled eggs(eggs with ham, peppers and onions), cinnamon rolls, blueberry pie, and cheesecake. Everything was delicious.

I really like how they have remodeled this place. It looks very nice. This is now clean and bright inside. We stopped in for a Easter Sunday brunch with some family. All the food looked great and it all was hot and fresh. On this morning there was prime rib to go with your omelet if you so choose. I did and I thought it was fantastic. The only complaint I have is some of the patrons are rude and pushy. This has nothing to do with how the restaurant does business, only some of the people who visited the same time and day I did. Just a reminder to all, there is no food shortages especially at a buffet. Be nice and frendily to all please.

Ate here today after the remodel and I like what they have done. All the food I ate tasted pretty good, and now they offer crab legs also which is a plus. The salad bar was very nice also. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stuff their face. :)

So this is my 2nd time here and it was just as good as the first. Both times I have came on a Friday night for all you can eat crab. They bring you a order out every time you ask. No fighting at the buffet line. Both times the crab has been equivalent to other sit down restaurants in town. I forgot to take picks of the crab, but I’ll share some others. Both times my waiters have been attentive and all of the food seemed fresh. I’ll be back! BTW the prime rib was awesome!

I went here during the evening around 5 – 6. The service was fast & great. The food on the other hand was not so good, I thought it was bland with no flavor and I could tell the vegetables were frozen not fresh. I probably would’ve been better off getting fast food. Meskwaki has way better variety & taste in my opinion.

Horrible. Met family here for their«Prime Rib Buffet» on Christmas afternoon. I should’ve stayed home and had frozen pizza, it would’ve had more flavor. The buffet had your basic all you can eat fare, none of it was special or particularly appetizing. The prime rib was horrible, overdone and tougher than eating my shoes would’ve been. The ice cream was good and there were several toppings to choose from.

This is my favorite buffet in town hands down! I usually come on prime rib nights, it is more expensive those nights but I get my moneys worth with the prime rib. There are many times where I would go to Prairie meadows and just eat here without gambling. Compared to other casino buffets I have been to, this one has less variety of food, but their price is also lower than others. Going on a normal night, the price is very good for the food you are getting. On peak nights the line is not extremely long, on standard nights there is no line at all. Staff members are very friendly and the décor is very inviting. Also great for large groups, came with a big group to celebrate one night.

Pretty basic buffet at a casino with different options of American, Chinese, Mexican. and a salad bar. Prime Rib is on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
